《Our Dear Introverted Hero》Atanasia's Delights

I tried to recall where Annette left her essentials. Ugh, I groaned. My head ached the more I tried to remember. It was as if my memories were fighting to take precedence, I determined I would only access her memories selectively. I checked each of her drawers, to see if she had anything that would help me. Her wardrobe was full of tattered clothes and her drawers were full of undergarments. She had a chest over in the corner of the room, it was my last hope. My hunger was consuming me, and I didn’t have any money. I pushed against the chest. It was much heavier than I expected. This had to be where she kept all her important items. I proceeded to open the lid. Inside I found a plethora of silver and gold coins with S’s and R’s engraved on them. “Thank you, kami-sama.” I whispered to myself. I had hit the jackpot. I found a nearby pouch and stuffed some of the coins into it.
Through the initial flashbacks, I knew that "i" lived on the outskirts of the city Atanasia, a port city in northern Cæb. The inhabitants of this city were known to be generous, and trade-minded. In the city center, there would be a bakery that served delicious goods. I left hurriedly, eager to explore the world that awaited me.
Somethings just have to be experienced I thought, as I walked outside. Recollections served this world no justice. The first thing I noticed was how vibrant the colors were in this world. The hues of the trees were brilliant. The sun shone with a slight orange-reddish appearance, giving even the day the tones of a magnificent sunset. I could smell a familiar ocean air, as I breathed in all the new exotic smells. As I observed, I felt a pang in my stomach, it growled sounding akin to a lion's roar. The smells were overwhelming me, I had to eat pronto.

I rushed towards the city square. Atanasian delights, the sign read. I headed towards that direction, if the foods were half as tasty as the world was beautiful my tastebuds were in for a delight. When I arrived I could smell the loaves of bread before I even opened the door. I hurriedly approached the front counter, and requested a scone, with a cup of warm tea. This was my usual breakfast back in my homeworld.
1 divat, please. A divat? What the hell was that, I pieced together that she must be talking about money. I didn’t want to seem ignorant so I reviewed Annette’s memories, ignoring the pain it caused.
Through that I was able to surmise how the coins system worked here;
Divat - basic coin(flint-like material)
Legolas — are the equivalent to 10 divats (copper-like material)
Shooks — are the equivalent to 10 legolas (silver)
Regals - are the equivalent to 1000 shooks (gold)
I bartered 1 silver coin. Will this be enough? I inquired, as I puckered my lips feigning humility. "Yes, just enough." the madam grinned. I thanked her and grabbed my food. As I turned around to thank her again I saw the madam closing up for the day, ushering towards the back of the bakery.
