After a bit of time later Marcus found a suitable tree for the cut.

Before he started to cut the tree he first checked his status window, because he now has some kind of basic nen and he would like to see what changed or what changes it caused to his body.

Marcus smiled and nodded. Because of the "Nen" itself, his physical body got stronger than the average human.

This means that right now the only thing he could do is just training and getting stronger in nen, compared the most of the people he will have a clear advantage, that is because he knows the storyline and the about the "Nen",

After checking the status he then started to cut the tree, with the ax made up of crude iron, in a sense Markus could use nen to make the ax stronger and sharper, but right now it was not possible because of the "Nen" capacity he had was so low that he had no chance to make it use other than having basic nen protection and power.

It was a fact that nen was a thing that gets stronger with more meditation and training or even real-life battle experience, so with that in mind, he swung his ax into the tree and started cutting.

5 Hours Later -

Marcus already had enough woods for home, but he did not finish cutting the woods after he had enough.

That was because it was a training of some sort, swinging the ax, cutting the trees helped him to improve his basic physical strength and mental strength.

It gave him a sense of mission and discipline, only after 10 hours he made it back home with more than enough woods for winter.

As he came back to the house of the old woman, his hands were in blood because of the constant swinging of the ax and he looked tired.

The ax itself was pretty used and almost broke in his hands, but these things did not matter the Marcus or the old-woman.

Old-woman just smiled after looking at the woods Marcus brought back and did not look at anything as she spoke.

"You look pretty tired, first eat food and go and rest, right now I have nothing for you to do"

Marcus just nodded and went into his room after about ten minutes later, the old-woman gave himself a big bowl of broth with chicken meat parts and good fresh bread.

Marcus was already hungry from all-day work and training so he ate the food without wasting a time and then he did not sleep directly.

First, he sat on his bed and started meditation of nen, he has to calm himself down and sense the "Nen" and "Life Aura" more as he improves his basic physical capability.

With the knowledge, he had about nen and how it works, it should be no hard thing for him to improve quickly.
