John was astounded, the sheer amount of information shocked him, he knew intrinsically that he could look into any one of the stats further by doing so. curious about the local map, John pressed the plus button and was greeted with a map that resembled the immediate area surrounding his parent's estate, what shocked him was the level of detail it contained. he could see the house as though it was in google maps, it was amazing. He wondered if he could zoom in and as he thought about it automatically did so, looking at the surrounding area, John could only see fifty meters beyond the Bently a stark grey 'fog' for lack of a better word greeted him. Already he could see that things have changed, the ground around the house being a brown soil of some sort, no snow on it at all. In the view of John much had occurred, from going into the room and finding the spear, the transport into a weird black dimension with a booming voice, to learning all of this. He thought for sure his brother and dad would have heard, but as he was going through all of this his dad was slowly starting to come back into reality only to realize his wife was gone and to go back into a stupor. While Kyle was like John looking through the information with zeal as though a kid on Christmas morning. putting it out of his mind knowing if he was needed he would be called John set out to learn more.

Coming back to the main panel John pressed on the quest for [AWAKEN THE PHENOIX] and was met with a ubiquitous seeming blue box.
[ONLY THE STAUNCHES OF HEARTS MAY SOAR ONCE MORE]
"Okay then, I guess that I will learn as I go." thought John, John prided himself on having a one-track mind and dove headfirst into anything he set out to accomplish. First with his dad hot rooming him daily as a kid to "protect and nurture him" as his dad put it. Then with school, going into business management to please his dad, he regarded himself as devoted to one task, getting the best possible grades possible, he was a business major with a minor in economics, elected student body president his second year. John was the cream of the crop when it came to a rigorous mentality to grow and achieve as much as possible in the shortest amount of time. After school being recruited by Imperial Oil a sister company of his brother Kyles, John was being groomed by the CFO to take over in five short years. It helped his dad had connections being in the Canadian military and was able to get John's foot in the door, but it was his drive and passion that drove John. he was determined to be the best of the best.
With so many unknown variables and so many things that John wanted to understand he set to work uncovering the mystery of what is going on. First John focused on strength, it did not bring up the blue box but rather brought to him an intimate understanding that this had to do with how fast his muscles could contract and by extension how much force he could exert on something. 'seems pretty basic to me, it really seems like a game of some sort. I never really played games too much, focusing more on personal growth but I do have some experience."

Following this line of reasoning John realized that agility was the ability to control the individual muscle fibres, 'wow I have never had this much control, even when going to the gym and directly focusing on my muscles I'm training!' going forward Endurace was a little weird in it felt like it was the stiffness of cells, John could not quite explain it but thought it had something to do with how tough his skin was. vitality was a curious thing, it felt like the itch as a scab formed on a person, thinking back to his injury and how fast it healed, John concluded this was how someone healed. Wisdom was on that felt vast, John felt that it was a sea that had no end and he was standing still upon a rock. With no direct understanding of it, it felt like something to explore further. Intelligence felt like the end of a really long study session, John was deeply familiar with this as he spent many nights in the 24 Hour library and felt this had to do with reasoning and remembrance. Luck was something otherworldly, it was hard to understand the feeling behind it; like feeling hot and cold at the same time. To John it was like two sides of the same coin, and he could feel it being nudged slightly in one direction or another.
Before John could go any further he heard a cry from downstairs, sounding like his brother; John grabbed the [CRACKED OBSIDIAN SPEAR OF THE PHENOIX] and prepared himself as he dragged his tired and lethargic body downstairs. Greeting him as he opened the door was Kyle wrestling with his dad to take the colt from his hands. "JOHN HELP!" Kyle cried to his brother, "DAD IS TRYING TO HURT HIMSELF!" John ran down the stairs so quickly that he was unaccustomed to and stumbled and fell, crashing into his father John caused all three to crash into the ground. The colt thankfully did not fire and it slid far out of the reach of everyone. Alexandar on the ground was curled into a ball, ugly crying and sobs racked his body. John not knowing what to do, patted his back and pulled his previously impenetrable dad into his arms. crying into his son’s arms he in between sobs said "I can't do it guys, I can't go back to war. Karen said I can't do it, I was going to retire. we were going to travel the world, we were going to see Italy, it should have been me. it should have been me. it should have." worried that his dad was going to try and do something stupid, John kept stroking his back while whispering to Kyle. "grab one of moms high strength sleeping pills." Kyle slipped out of the room to grab it and his dad focused on his son. "John, I'm so sorry my boy. I was too hard on you. forgive me." Kyle came back and their dad gratefully took the pill, the three of them stayed together while chaos reigned outside the house. eventually, all falling asleep despite it only being three in the afternoon.

A Gray and Grey world
What if adventurers are not as they seemed. In the tales of old, adventurers were the ones who vanquished the demons and beasts from the land, the ones who sealed the great evil away, the ones who saved the world from destruction and kept peace within the lands. But, what if that wasn't really what happened? What if adventurers are selfish, narcissicistic, and- depending on who you ask- evil. What if they weren't the paragons of good that their history books show. As they say, it is the victors that write history. In this world, this broken world, the true nature of adventurers will be told, unveiled to the masses. In this world, where history has yet to be written, the true heroes will be shown. Or- at least, that's what should've happened. But then again- heroes, villains-... everything is relative to the one who sees it. Everything changes depending on who's perspective... Perhaps the heroes of this story- may not be the heroes that you might think. Author : Hello everyone! I just want you all to know that this is a first time story.
