As Richard took off his linen pants and shirt, Juvia's eyebrows furrowed. When he extended his stripped off clothes to her and said, "Put these on." She replied back by saying in a confused voice, "Why are you giving me your clothes?"
"Look at your body."
"Huh?" Juvia replied absentmindedly. She lowered her eyes, looking at her feet and her eyes widened. She gulped down her saliva and inspected every part of her body before moving her eyes back to Richard.
"Take these clothes and put them on."
She turned her head back to Troy. Her cheeks turned red and she hastily turned her head back to Richard. She took the linen shirt and pants from his hands and started putting them on.
Richard moved his eyes from Juvia to Troy, and he furrowed his eyebrows as he saw that Troy was staring at Juvia's butt. "Juvia is now one of my people and I will be damned if I let some imbecile make moves onto her," he thought and walked up to Troy, blocking his view of Juvia.
Troy snapped out of his shocked state and his eyes met with Richard's. A few notification messages flashed.
"Give me your clothes," Richard said as they flashed.
"What?" Troy said as he thought that he had misheard Richard.
"You heard me, strip your clothes."
"What?!" Troy shouted out as he was shocked that he was actually told to strip off his clothes.
"I won't repeat myself the third time."
"No! And screw you! I am going to kill you!"
Richard chopped Troy's neck and he collapsed onto the ground. Richard began stripping Troy of his clothes, and Juvia with the werebeast children stared at him as he did. Then, they stared at him as he put on those clothes. A few notification messages flashed.

Richard threw Troy over his shoulder. "I am going to bring this brat back to his sister, and then I will go to your village. I expect werebeasts not to attack me. But if they do, I will eliminate everyone except for you."
Juvia gave a slight nod. "I understand."
Richard walked out from the alpha's den with Troy over his shoulder and made his way to the vampire city. On the way there, he met a little more than ten wolves, all which he killed with one strike each, without throwing Troy off his shoulder once. Entering the city, he walked to Troy's and Troy's little sister's house.
"Ah!" Troy's little sister shouted out as she saw Richard walk up to her with her big brother only in his underwear on his shoulder.
"Big brother?! What?! How?!"
"Where are your parents?"
"They will come back in a few minutes, but why do you have my big brother only in his underpants on your shoulder, big brother adventurer?"
"Don't worry about it. Let's go inside and wait for your parents."
"Uhmm, okay, big brother adventurer."
They walked into the house and entered the living room. Richard lowered Troy onto the couch that surrounded the table with three chairs and he sat down on one of the three chairs.
Troy's little sister sat down on the second of the three chairs. They spoke for a few minutes, and then Troy's and Troy's little sister's parents returned.
"Who are you?!" they said one after another as they saw Richard talking with their daughter.
"This is big brother adventurer," Troy's little sister said.
"Let's talk privately," Richard said.
Troy's and Troy's little sister's father and mother both nodded their heads. And all three of them walked out of the house. Richard pulled out Troy's letter to Juvia and extended it towards Troy's father and mother. "Read it."

Troy's father and mother tilted their head in confusion. Then, Troy's father took the letter and together with his wife, they began reading it. They both paled and began shaking.
Richard took Troy's letter to Juvia from Troy's father shaking hands and stored it inside his inventory. "If I catch Troy inside the forest at least one more time, I will bring this letter to the count. You have been warned."
"Thank you for your mercy," Troy's father said in a low voice and Troy's mother began weeping.
Richard walked away from them. "This reminds me," he thought. He opened the menu and Juvia's character.
"Hmm…" Richard thought. He closed Juvia's character window and the menu. He left the vampire city and walked to the werebeast village. On the way there, he encountered more wolves, but like before, he killed them all with one strike each. Reaching the werebeast village, he saw two male werebeasts standing by the gate and walked up to them.
"You must be the one that killed our two strongest men," one of the werebeasts said with clear anger in his voice.
"Stop it," the other werebeast said.
"Fine!"
"Can I enter?" Richard said.
"Yes," they both said and the second one continued, "Juvia is waiting for you in the town's centre."
Richard nodded his head and walked through the opened gate. Looking around, he saw wooden buildings that were both big and small and many werebeasts both children and adults. As he looked around the village, the werebeasts saw him. The werebeast children wanted to run up to him, but the adult werebeasts stopped them and forced them into the houses. He walked to the village's centre and saw Juvia. He walked up to her.
"You are here," she said.
"Yes, now take me to your father."
Juvia nodded her head. "Alright." She led him to the biggest house in the village. They entered it and she led Richard into a living room. Inside the living room, there was only a single table and behind this table, sat a male werebeast with crossed legs. This werebeast had a few scars on his body and face.
Pqar raised his head and his eyes met with Richard's. "You must be the vampire that killed my two strongest men and changed my daughter."
"That's right," Richard said as he and Juvia walked up to the table.

8 168A D&D Gamer in Garweeze Wurld
He doesn't know how he got here, and while the trappings are familiar, he doesn't actually know where he is, either. From the perspective of those around him, Duromar is a half-ogre barbarian, an uncivilized brute by any standard you care to use. But from his perspective, he's a character created in a gaming system. From either one, he must live within the rules of that system. This is the story of a gamer who ends up in a game that's just a bit off from what he knows. ---- I wanted to write something a little bit old-school. Most of the LitRPG I've found seems to be based on computer RPG styled stories. Progression through levels is fast, and depending on the game, skills and even attributes can be trained with or without class levels. This wasn't true with the older pen and paper games, and that's the style of leveling I wanted to write.

8 179When hell freezes over
An ancient seal has been broken and a forgotten power returns to the world gradually, upsetting the balance of normality. People used to say "I'll do that when hell freezes over" jokingly, but now that saying holds more weight in a changing world where people have to get used to the unusual. Ancient creatures hidden in the earth stir from their slumber of centuries, and humanity is not prepared for their ancient powers. Can the human race of steel and fire stand against the creatures created by the most ancient of powers? Is the human race pure enough to band together and form a closed fist as they did centuries ago? Find out in this adventure where Jacob starts off on his way on a normal day towards his job. "I get the feeling this story might be one of those 'diamonds in the rough'. The premise is quite solid, there's plenty of room to flesh out the characters. It's quite easy to get into and be engaged by at the moment, imo. I don't know where the story will go from here, but it's off to a good start me thinks." - Xenower Attribution: The cave picture in the book cover is made by Stanislav Sedov and is licensed under CC-BY-SA-2.0 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.0/ This picture was modified from the original with an overlaid moon and sea picture to be found at https://www.flickr.com/photos/ssedov/26342569905 The photographer has no affiliation to Tschallacka nor can be held accountable for the use of this picture the way as it is here.
8 164In the End the Truth Remains
We all have our own philosophies that we subscribe to. We either create them ourselves, or we stumble across ones that resonate with us. Some may be evil, some may be good, some may be neutral, some may be incoherent, and some may be inconsistent. With this in mind, to what extent will we defend our beliefs? At the cost of our lives? Or at the cost of others? Beliefs are one of the most powerful and destructive things in the world. It drives us to act, pushes us to continue, and can lead to fulfillment. At first these things were only concepts that gave humanity meaning, but now they have become so much more…
