《Path of the Lilies》59. Absorbing and Training

“Good,” Ye Ai Xia smiled. “Guide the ball into your abdomen, right at the place for your core.”
Ye Jiao blanked for a moment. Couldn’t her mother give her a much better instruction? She tried to sense the ball position as she pushed it down her stomach into her abdomen. It felt weird when the ball seemed to bypass her organs, but Ye Jiao didn’t think too much of it.
Once it came inside her abdomen, she could sense that the ball started to spin and gave warm Eon Energy to her abdomen. Her eyes showed astonishment.
“Mom, I feel that there is a lot of Eon Energy coming into my abdomen. With this, I’ll be able to form my core faster.”
“It’s good that there is a lot of Eon Energy, but you have to control the pill’s movements to make sure that it doesn’t release too much at once,” Ye Ai Xia reminded. “There’s a limit to your body, so make sure that you find the right pace.”
Ye Jiao frowned before closing her eyes and sat down. Her attention was fully focused on her abdomen where she tried to control the pill. The warm Eon Energy was pulled out of her abdomen as she tried to spread it to her entire body.
Sweat trickled down her forehead.
She didn’t understand why but it was much harder to pull the energy out from her abdomen compared to drawing it in. Little did she know that this was the norm for children because it allowed them to form their core faster. Only after they form the core would the restriction be lifted by their own body.
However, Ye Ai Xia didn’t tell Ye Jiao this as she let her daughter train by herself. It would be better for the girl to learn the hard part first rather than the easy part.

Time passed swiftly.
Ye Jiao couldn’t get used to the pill in her abdomen as she had to put most of her concentration there to make sure that it didn’t give out too much energy at once. However, saying was easier than doing it.
“Jiao’er, stop sitting around all day. Go and do some training,” Ye Ai Xia laughed when she saw Ye Jiao kept on sitting after breakfast.
“But Mom, it’s hard to control the pill,” Ye Jiao admitted.
Ye Ai Xia smiled. “I know, but you have to do it because the gap to rank 3 is large. If you don’t control it, you might harm yourself.”
“Mom… you’re not planning on killing me, right?”
“I will never do that,” Ye Ai Xia stroked Ye Jiao’s head. “If you need help, I’ll try to help you control it. But for the time being, you should learn how to control it yourself.”
“Yes, Mom…” Ye Jiao replied. “Mom, is it hard to make an Eon Energy Pill?”
Ye Ai Xia pondered and shook her head. “If you just want to create an Eon Energy Pill rank 1, all you have to do is condensate your Eon Energy. Every master could do it, but it takes one week to one month if they didn’t train.”
“How about rank 2 and rank 3?” Ye Jiao asked curiously.
“I’m not too sure, but they say that you need to be proficient in medicine before you can make an Eon Energy Pill rank 2,” Ye Ai Xia shrugged. She was not talented in the art of medicine or pill making, so all she knew was based on the books she had read. “Do you want to learn them, Jiao’er?”
“I don’t know,” Ye Jiao stared at her abdomen. “I just think that it’s really cool to be able to absorb Eon Energy directly like this.”

Ye Ai Xia laughed dryly. Other parents would never dare to give an Eon Energy Pill Rank 3 to their children like her. After all, the amount of Eon Energy stored in the pill far surpassed what Rank 1 or even lower needed. If one didn’t stay careful, one might die because of the insane amount.
However, she didn’t really have any other choice. When forming one’s core, one would need a lot of Eon Energy. At that time, Ye Jiao would have to pull a lot of Eon Energy from the air, creating a disturbance for an unknown radius.
Ye Ai Xia didn’t have the confidence that she could protect Ye Jiao when the girl formed her core. Because of that, she decided to participate in the competition and got the Eon Energy Pill Rank 3. At the very least, the pill would replace the Eon Energy Ye Jiao needed for forming her core.
‘This is still a bit risky, though.’
She didn’t know how much Eon Energy Ye Jiao needed to form her core. In the past, Ye Xiao absorbed nearly the same amount an ordinary rank 2 Eon Energy master would need. It was such an insane amount that it was hard to believe. At the same time, Ye Jiao has greater talent than Ye Xiao.
Then, how much of Eon Energy would she need?
Ye Ai Xia was not sure, so she just aimed for the third rank. Whatever happened later, she would have to protect Ye Jiao as much as possible.
“How’s the release now?”
“It’s slow,” Ye Jiao smiled. She controlled it so that it wouldn’t overwhelm her, but it really required a lot of concentration or the pill would start pouring out a large amount all at once. Her abdomen might become too full too quick before she could know it.
She wanted to form her core faster but not without her ability to control it.
Ye Ai Xia nodded her head. “You should just focus on making sure that you can control the pill. When you can control it freely, fill your abdomen with Eon Energy until it’s full and we’re going to start forming your core.”
Forming your core.
Ye Jiao’s lips curled up when she heard that word. Finally, she would form her core soon.
Even though it wouldn’t change her condition much on the outside, she would be able to start a lot of training. The journey to become a genuine Eon Energy Master has just begun this way.
“You seem happy, little brat,” Ye Ai Xia messed up the girl’s hair.
Ye Jiao grinned. “Of course, I’m happy, Mom. I’ll grow up stronger even faster and someday, I’ll be the one to protect you and Dad.”
“Yes, I’ll be waiting for that.”
“Hehe.”
“Now, get out and start your physical training. It’s important to have a stronger body when you have a lot of Eon Energy in your body.”
“Yes, Mom!”

Mana World - Convergence
The story is complete it was a prototype and it is BAD.I do not recommend reading it, I will not edit it in any form, it is still here as a personal remained of how bad I was at the start. Mages are soo cool but without mana you can't become a mage. Well let's see how we can get mana to this world. I'm sure it would be a perfectly safe and excellent idea. First try at writing something like this. Dunno if I will update constantly or not, dunno what will happen with the story and the characters. Recipe: 3 cubic meters of science, 5 shit tons of pseudo science, 2 dantians of mistycism,1/2 cup of stupid references, 1 package of sarcasm, 1/400 tolkien epicness, 1 tea spoon of stupid commentaries, a pinch of craziness and dressed with randomness, uppps, too much randomness. Accepting all kinds of constructive criticism. Well prologue is finished.
