Perspective Change!
-----------------------------
Fang looked down to see a curvaceous woman hugging him tightly. She was wearing crimson dress that billowed out from her body and had a pretty face complimenting her long black hair.
A look around revealed that he stood by a pair of thrones in a grand hall of royal proportions. The guards near them looked at him in stupefied.
Fang frowned, why does he keep on getting in these situations? "All I want to do is travel and experience new things..."
Fang attempted to push off the woman hugging him but she was like an eagle clutching its prey. Fang didn't want to hurt her and she wasn't letting out any hostile intent so he reluctantly remained in her embrace.
"Mind letting go of me?" Fang asked.
"No." She responded.
What a troublesome woman! "I can't even use my energy to escape, I can't control my awakened energy well enough yet..." Fang thought. At this point, guards were beginning to flood into the royal hall at the news of the awakened Stone Man.
"Look, I don't know where I am or who you are. Can't we talk about everything over a nice cup of tea or whatever you people have?" Fang tried to reason with her.
A conflicted look flew across her eyes before she backed off from him, dusting off her not dusty dress.
"Cough, cough... I suppose we could talk. I apologize for losing my composure. The guards will escort you to your room while I set everything up." She directed her last words at the nervous mob of guards in the hall before leaving.
"Turned out better than expected." Fang thought. A pair of young guards stepped foward from the crowd and nervously told Fang to follow them. The crowd watched Fang and his escorts walk into an opening in the side of the hall before breaking out into an excited chatter.

"Did you see that?! That was the Stone Man!"
"I thought I was going to die when he looked at us! What's with those dragon eyes?"
"He's more handsome than I thought he would be, I could look at those eyes for hours..." Another male said.
"..."
Fang was escorted to his room by the nervous pair of guards who kept on looking at him.
"Why do you keep looking at me like that? I'm not going to harm you." Fang smiled.
"You don't understand s-sir... the queen would probably eat us if everything didn't go according to plan." After a bit of walking, the trio arrived at a wooden door decorated in gold. They opened it and indicated for me to go in.
The inside of the room was broad with multiple pieces of elaborate furniture spread about in a chaotic fashion. A huge bed covered in red veil covered one side of the room. A figure lay within it.
The door crashed shut behind me and I had an ominous feeling. The veil of the bed opened to show the woman who had clung to him before clad in crimson lingerie. Her full slender legs were revealed and her bountiful chest was just waiting to pour out. Black hair was put to one side.
Fang suppressed a groan. "All I want is some information... Is that so much to ask for?"
The succubus-like woman stepped out of the bed and sat at one of the chairs chaotically placed around. Fang stared at her face while she crossed her legs.
"My name is Ragnareen V Ignelle, but you can just call me Ragnareen. Tell me, what do you want me to talk about? I can talk about a great many things..." Ragnareen sweetly said.
Fang remained standing by the door while keeping his gray dragon slits on her face.
"Actually... could you just tell me where a library is?" Fang wanted to protect himself and see if he could read. Talking seemed easy enough.

"Why in such a rush? Come, take a seat. I'll tell you more than any books could." Ragnareen licked her lips. Naturally Fang wouldn't offend her for no reason, although things were going into a bad direction.
Fang took a seat relatively across from her. It truly was worthy of royalty, he seemed to sink into it naturally, almost like it was made for him.
"You know, I had that seat specially made for you. It took nearly a week to get the perfect measurements." Ragnareen said.
A shiver ran down his spine. "I appreciate your kindness." Fang said.
An awkward silence followed, Ragnareen stared intensely at Fang.
"Could you just start with general knowledge? That would be of great help to me." Fang broke the silence.
Ragnareen full lips curved into a smile and she began tracing her right hand through the air in a complex sequence. Energy immediately began flowing throughout the royal bedroom as handcuffs latched Fang's arms and legs into place on the chair.
"Oh shit."
Ragnareen stood up and began swaying her hips seductively as she slowly walked towards Fang.
"Did you know? I'm actually one of the most accomplished mages in the Western Continent... I reached the A rank at the mere age of fifteen." She leaned foward a bit while walking, looking like a hunter stalking her prey. It also further emphasized her considerable assets.
Sweat was already running down Fang's back. "Things are getting a bit out of hand here..."
"No, things are just perfect... I'll tell you anything you want to know after I show just how much I admire you..." Ragnareen purred. She was getting closer.
"NOPE." In the face of an impending disaster upon his virginity, Fang initiated the emergency escape plan. Sword Soul energy flickered wildly and cut the chair apart along with the energy constraining him to it.
Fang had long protected his virginity from the many beautiful women that had thrown themselves at him when he was a powerful sect master in his home world. Fang's father had long warned him to keep himself away from the deadly females and their charms, they would end even the mightiest of men in the bonding of marriage. Maybe if he had never married Fang's mother he would never had experienced such sorrow when she died...
Ragnareen's face flickered in astonishment as she felt her bindings cut apart. She threw herself foward and clutched at Fang, only for her hands to pass through his image. Small rocks falling from above drew her gaze up where she saw a human shaped hole in the ceiling of the palace.
Fang soared through the air like a Phoenix, a vast city spread out underneath. The city was divided into a variety of tall and short stone buildings, stone roads wound through like great serpents. Nearly all of the stone was red and the royal palace he had just leapt from proudly shone like a ruby above the city.
In no time at all Fang had crossed the massive forty meter tall red walls and into a great forest that extended out as far as the eye could see. He flashed out into the distance and dropped onto the dirt road that led out of from the royal capital.
Fang smoothed the gray robe he had retrieved from his temporary room before walking away from the city, following the road.
"First I'm taken into slavery, now someone tried to rape me." Fang grumbled as he began a journey that was destined to be, at the very least, interesting.
I just need to start authoring again, need to keep the story juices flowing. It was fun to write and I hope it's fun to read as well.

Ars Magica
Our vision comes back into focus. Our eyes, while being able to perceive the immediate surroundings, still leave us with our minds uncomprehending towards what is actually occurring. Sure, there are definitive things that we can focus on, like the fact that we're either out upon the open sea or the open ocean, there not being much of a difference with no land in sight, as well as the fact that we appear to be upon a haphazardly constructed metal boat, whose seams are barely able to keep a hold of themselves in the crashing waves. However, that does not let us understand what exactly is causing the waves in the first place. If we were to rewind time, we'd find ourselves upon a calm sea under a peaceful sky with the only difference, being a small whirlpool that would be the precursor towards this uproar around the boat. Lightning flashes in the sky, with no clouds being near, and anyone actually manning the boat has either died towards the cause of the smashing tides in the first place, or are fighting amongst the flashes of lightning, all while trying not to become devoured, demolished, and utterly decimated by the beast roiling in the whirling waves. To better understand exactly what is happening here, there is one singular event that needs to be understood, that needs to be explained, and that is the arrival of a creature named Dave. Stepping back from current events and going towards this creature's first appearance in the world, we begin to hear the sound of water slowly dripping across rocky ground. The cavern is utterly silent except for this one constant, its cause feeding channels downwards, sloping towards cracks in the rubble along the floor from broken stalagmites and stalactites. And there, lying on top of something which had fallen over recently, judging from its cracks, is a person, the creature named Dave. His form is fast asleep, either from the impact or from an intoxication, judging from the smell upon its breath. A bright light suffuses into it for a second, giving life towards the pale skin, before it slowly dies down back to the comfortable black of the cave that it's within. Before this moment in time, Dave did not exist in the physical world. At least, not in the reality that he finds himself born into. We do not know whether or not his existence is simply a cosmic joke, or something that is being played out on purpose. All that we do know, is that one moment, the body was not in the cave, and simply formed in the next. The actual earliest time that we know Dave exists, is the interpolation of the memories of J-209, which we'll begin looking into shortly to gain context towards the coming narrative that is being written and hastily trying to keep itself written. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Warning: This story has several things which might turn its readers away. The first is that this story has shifting points of perspective. Don't worry about that previous sentence too much though, as the main character will always have a first person perspective associated with them. However, any other character from which we're viewing the story from will either be in third-person, as we are not necessarily in their shoes at the moment, or in first person, given that the narrator is an actual physical presence within the story. For the most part, chapters will be self-contained with their perspectives, so there will not be an abundance of switching perspectives within the same chapter. The most that an average reader would have to worry about is the fact that perspectives can switch between chapters. The second thing is that the main character is a bit on the 'special' side of things. He's not exactly mentally there most of the time, so there will be some times that his personality or his thoughts do not actively align with his actions. The third, and final thing of importance, is the fact that past the first couple of chapters, nothing has been planned in advance. There are arcs and plots that I want to do, want to implement, or have already been set into motion from our main character's introduction to the world, but the method that I use for my story writing and generating leads towards a bit more random chance being enabled. Basically...there's a lot of dice rolling behind the scenes. To not complicate the story further than its regular LitRPG elements, the rolls will not be publicly available. However, there will be knowledge within the author's notes on whether or not there were positive or negative critical rolls that had occurred within the chapter. You have been warned. Updates: Mondays & Fridays (Schedule permitting) Typical Chapter Length: (2,000-3,000)
