“And what exactly am I supposed to do while he is working as a messenger? I trust you did not simply sell a favor for something you plan to give up.” Master Shey says with a raised eyebrow as they follow Frey.
“That might be the case. But I trust that you will not treat me unjustly.” Siyu says with a grin.
“Trusting a By Contract cultivator; you might be the first.” Master Shey says with a frown.
…
…
“Finally!” A man says as he quickly approaches Frey. “What took you so long? Damn messengers; always taking their sweet time.” He says as he takes the package from Frey.
Frey could only remain expressionless as he gives Siyu a look.
Siyu smiles in response and says, “What are you waiting for? Aren’t you going to apologize?”
Frey sighs and offers the man a bow. “I apologize for my tardiness, sir.” He says.
The man shoos them away with a hand. “Whatever, whatever. I shouldn’t bother with a messenger.” The man says before turning away with the package. “And apparently it takes three people to deliver a package these days…” He says, unimpressed.
…
…
Three days had passed, and there have yet to be any results. And Frey continued to work as a messenger, delivering all sorts of letters and packages. Most of his deliveries were along the lines of business as usual but there were a few interesting cases...
“I’m here to deliver a letter for a mister…” Frey says, pausing to look down to read who the letter was addressed to.
Before Frey could read his name, the man had already held up his hand and said, “I don’t want it. You can send it back.”
“What? How can you not want it? It’s just a letter.” Frey says in bewilderment.

“I don’t care. I know it’s from that bitch who took everything from me. Who knows what she wants now? Whatever it is, I don’t want it.” The man says with a shake of his head.
“Just take it, sir. What harm could reading it do?” Frey says, pushing the letter to the man.
“I said I don’t want it. Just take it away.” The man says before turning around and beginning to walk away. “Damn messenger; trying to tell me what to do.” He mumbles.
Annoyance flashes across Frey’s face. Although Frey didn’t say anything, being viewed as a fairy tale prince and then being viewed as a common messenger caused some discomfort for him. Even though he knew that this was temporary, his recent treatment had built up some frustration within him. “Stop!” He yells.
“What? Piss off messenger.” The man says before stopping after seeing Frey’s glare.
Frey takes out a badge from his coat pocket. “This is the king’s emblem and I, sir, am Prince Frey of the Country of Seer. I hereby order you to receive this letter.” Frey says sternly as he walks forward and lifts the letter up to the man.
The man could only stare at the badge and the emblem that wrote, ‘Towards our heart’s desire; we are bound to walk.’ The man’s jaw drops and he didn’t know what to do.
“What are you waiting for?” Frey says, his annoyance growing.
The man closes his mouth and takes the letter into his hands.
Master Shey watches this situation with amusement, but the moment the man’s hand held the letter, he sensed an unusual power coming from Frey and he shifted his stance to prepare for battle. “Oy, Siyu. There’s a Hell Path power coming from that ring. It seems to be trying to finalize some sort of contract.” Master Shey says, wariness in his voice.

Siyu stops and stares at the ring, trying to sense what he could. “Frey, take off the ring and give it to Master Shey. Master; please wait for it to fully come out before binding it. I sense a life hiding in that ring.” He says as readies his staff.
Master Shey suddenly feels a pressure coming from this ring. “Damn, this thing is at the Master level. Prepare yourselves.” He says, holding out his open hand, a deep red glow enveloping the ring. Master Shey could feel the pressure growing as a yellow glow appears and a force begins to fight against the red glow. The heat from the ring spreads to his hand and discomfort finds Master Shey’s face. “I can’t hold it. I need some assistance.” Master Shey says, trying hard to focus.
“What the fuck am I supposed to do? I can’t fight a ring!” Frey says with bewilderment.
Siyu's instincts begin to take over as he says, “Place it on the ground.”
Taking the excuse, Master Shey drops the ring. The pressure of the ring made it find the ground with a deep thud. Siyu stands before the ring and plunges the butt of his staff down. His Earth Path energy flowed out of his hands and through the staff before seeping into the ring. “Show yourself!” Siyu commands. As the green glow of his energy fills the ring a laughter could be heard.
“Hahahaha! An Earth Path cultivator damned me and another Earth Path cultivator has come to finish off the job!” The voice says with an amused laughter.
