《Subjugation of Gods》Scanning the Spirit Seas

Now, in order to solve this problem, instead of scanning the skies, he began to scan the subtle fathomless halls of his memory. The spirit sea, was the thinking space of a sage, where his sense of mind and soul rested. In that immense golden ocean, the waves bursting forth are thought waves. Although the sea is considered to be immeasurable, and has infinite depth. Still, there exists a bottom. The bottom-most crust that exists beneath this sea has numerous caverns running throughout the interminable sea. The marine animals are energy beings which represent various understandings gained about the world. The size of marine animals being inversely proportional to the corresponding degree of enlightenment.
To scan through these caverns of memory effectually, there are two ways one being, mindlessly random searching as ordinary people and even most cultivators do. Other way is to use the marine animals as connecting points through a wave of thought energy and then finding the memory which prompted that enlightenment. Sadly, this method only works if that memory essence propelled the conglomeration of enlightenments(marine animals). And this is what happened at this moment, this memory essence was almost unconnected to any of the enlightenments. Since, Krishna was quiet a new Sage compared to his seniors, the enlightenments he had gained till now were a lot, but they were still finite. And so, such method of scouring was extremely quick. If he had countably infinite enlightenments, then he would have to use some other algorithmic methods and short tricks. All these strategies were kinda rigorous in nature, many of which were never named, he was using, were there in virtual realm, some of which he gained during his training.
Only a minute had passed in the outer world, but in his mind, it seemed to him that a decade had passed, since time was quicker in the spirit realm. Suddenly, high tides appeared in the ocean, and increased in height and duration in a row. After the hundredth tide, a mammoth tsunami shook the ocean completely. And a ball of burning fire emerged from the depths of sea.
Isn't this the spell-cum-incantation of connecting with the seven Sages? This was invented by the Second Generation Patriarch, to facilitate communication among the same generation sages, even finding it's way through the space-time continuum. However it's range is limited only to the universe we know.
Krishna smiling complacently, opened his eyes as he observed the fiery ball within his mind, the ball shined brilliantly and burst apart, all it's fumes and remains were devoured immediately by a rising wave. And Krishna got the crux of the technique. He wondered, "With the successful use of this incantation, I can connect with the current generation's Sages. Is it possible to connect using an incantation with the previous generations as well. Or maybe even with those generations which precede Shiva? But wouldn't that go against the universe's will. In that way any powerful Sage might be able to bring the consciousnesses of the generations preceding the birth of this universe, but that would lead to a time problem. Since, isn't there timelessness before the creation after destruction of universe?" He pulled himself out of those fanciful thoughts. Establishing connection with the previous generations till Shiva was already not an easy deal, according to his level. To be able to do that, he must at least be a True Sage, and awaken 95 lotuses within him. Thinking about Shiva and beyond, is still a long journey. "I wonder how the Ninth will be, will he follow my path, or would he be really unique unlike any of the eleven generations?"

Such questions can't be answered, for sages don't prophecy. Those who can defy so-called pre-organised fate and destiny, crumple them and shape one's own path, why would such a League of people endeavour to predict the unpredictable future of human. They can foresee the collective future due to their understanding of some innate laws of universe, however they won't predict ever a single human's life, such a thing is considered a taboo among the cultivators as well. The will of human surpasses the four dimensions, this was common knowledge shared by cultivators and sages. There were some renegades though who looked through the past, present and future of mortals, as is recounted in the histories of some planets across Outer Void, but that lead to more trouble than good. Humans restricted themselves to the foresight of someone else, and those of weak will, chose to surrender rather than make their own way.
Krishna touched his forehead lightly, and with his eyes shut to focus on the glabella, strands of consciousness flowed out along with essence blood. He stretched his wide palm in the empty air and blood gathered into a small ellipsoidal formation with strands of consciousness protruding out like tentacles. Just as the formation took shape, winds grew turbulent and surrounding myriad forms of energy flew in helical currents about the formation and seemed to energise it. Spatial cracks appeared, multiplying continuously about the ellipsoid. His newly formed body had frailed, and face looked pale, twitching with waves of exhaustion as he summoned more energy to absorb. This wasn't an ordinary formation, but one who had it's core a daoist magic. So, it required tremendous amounts of energy. As the energy reached saturation, ellipsoid became flatter until it seemed as a two dimensional wrinkled ellipse. The various strands of consciousness became visible by being tainted by blood and formed interesting patterns and inscriptions automatically. Each of those patterns was to created by using pure mental power and divine sense and controlling monstrous chunks of immortal energy was similar to a painter using a big, fat brush to paint a tiny, yet intensive drawing but just with the strength of his mind.
As the last stroke of the formation was finished, the energy sucked was almost equivalent to what a immortal cultivator needs to become the lowest tier God. Krishna was almost on the edge of losing himself, he had invested his soul, mind and blood in making this. He had little strength and lightly pushed the formation, and it started to expand instantaneously, but strangely, it didn't expand spatially, but in many other dimensions as well, and after some moments, even Krishna with his realm couldn't figure out the immensity of this formation. Such a powerful daoist magic! If it's let lose destructively by a skilled god stage cultivator, it can seriously impact a whole star cluster. He had swore in his mind, that never would he use such magics unless he was in desperate need, and had no other available option. In the flow, he himself fused with the emptiness and vanished in the formation. This was a realm, a transportation which could not be grasped by the five senses, and all were shut off. The divine sense failed to understand it.

No one knows how much distance he travelled, nor how much time passed on his planet, but finally when he came to his senses, he had reached a part of universe, he had only vaguely seen through the naked eye. He could see some kiloparsecs ahead. And beyond some megaparsecs was absolute empty space with intergalactic dust, and it seemed to stretch infinitely. Then he turned to view where he really was. A 1000 ly ahead on direct line of sight, he gazed at the event horizon of a strange body, the unknown celestial body, black hole around which were 2 young stars in orbit. Something he had never witnessed through his naked eyes, but only through divine sense in the virtual realm. Surrounding, seven pops rung, and seven light beams gathered in an octagonal formation about him, revealing the seven venerates, the Seven Sages of this generation. Krishna could see them the same as before, shaking his head lightly while thinking, "Apparently, these old demons, look and dress the same even if thousands of years pass by." But apart from physical appearance, no matter how he used his divine sense and spiritual energy, he couldn't look through Old Seventh, Second Senior Sister and Eldest brother.
Eldest brother first came in view, and approached applaudingly, " Good! Krishna. You have been successful in blossoming 85 lotuses. 85 is not something that great, but the time you took makes you stand out among all of us, making you fully deserving of being our Eighth Junior."
Old Seventh was stroking his beard, "You were able to use that spell from the Second Generation, quiet impressive! I didn't expect you would be able to let alone use it, but even get access to it in your training period."
Old Sixth looked to be no surprised, among the seven. He had a complacent look on his face. He was the only one who really could gauge the innate potential of Krishna at first, so although he was proud. He showed a lazy, unimpressed look as a father does at his son, even when he makes a big achievement. "Enough battering! Krishna, you have fulfilled your own desires and intentions of living a mortal life and going through all it's phases. Now, the time has come, for you to forge yourself in the harsh Observable universe. " Everyone nodded at this. All of them wanted the wellbeing of each other, even though they quarreled, still there was a thread of affection and acknowledgement which binded them together.
Second Senior sister, in silver robes, said in an arrogant manner, "What harsh? He isn't going to Eastern Chasms, is he?"
Third Senior sister who radiated the glow of saffron, replied, "Nope, while you were away we all decided, that he must go to the solitary galaxies of Northern Vast Expanses. Didn't you go to elder sister in your youth there?" Second senior nodded in thought.
First Senior patted his wife, and took the centre position, "Krishna, we all agree, that your path is some ways similar to Old Fourth. And he is a good partner for you to go to Northern Vast Expanse. Although, your Second sister, went there in her youth, she didn't go in it's deepest parts. We all wish you can discover that portion, although our network extends in some of the Heavenly Councils too there, but in the inner rims have been unexplored by us."
Old Fourth, pulled an empty candy wooden stick from his mouth and stared at Krishna for a while, , then turned to the others, "Ah! I am really bored and haven't had some good travel in a looong time." Old Fifth was in pensiveness, he spoke shiveringly directly to the eldest, "Brother you know full well, what lies in the depths of the Northern part?"
Eldest brother turned his face to see the emptiness in deep thought upon hearing that, as if to recall a slice of his memory.
