《Subjugation of Gods》The Taste of Death

As his karma dissolved, the energy lotus of life aura started spinning, and the flora and fauna multiplied in that area. Instantly, his meditating accelerated the level of the life in the forest. The tree in whose shed he was resting, now had grown hundreds of years in just a few hours and had truly become an ancestor among all natural beings in the forest.
Krishna was doing all this consciously, in his 150 years of life, he had figured out one thing which cultivators had also come to an understanding about till some extent. Evolution of life on the planet leads to the evolution of not only the flora and fauna of the planet, but arouses the planet's inner consciousness, thereby leading to the transformation of even the minds and bodies of humans born on the planet. Each of the star systems had a primary star or primary stars, like that there were also primary planets, known as mother planets, these were habitable planets by virtue of their location. A surge of the life level of mother planets can lead to a qualitative development within the star system. And for this development, one of the ways is a Divine Realm or periodic arousals of life aura, and their balanced circulation throughout star system, in this way even the non-habitable planets can gain consciousness and give birth to life. In the Outer Void, immortal qi was fused with life aura and all beings benefitted by it, without developing much of immortal roots. This is a way to repay one's sentiment to their star system and mother planet.
At this moment, within the deepest confines of his self, the spirit sea was rising enormously like the oceans on a full moon day. Planet Mo Quan appeared in his spirit sea as a tiny fish and thanked him warmly for his efforts. She also wished to develop her consciousness, and evolve her children along with herself.
The forest had by now become a holy land. Krishna now concentrated on his inner self, and tried to observe the 2 thousand petalled lotuses which were out of the boundaries of physical body. But his divine sense could detect almost nothing. He sighed deeply, and redirected his attention to the stirring 84 lotuses, inside him, heavenly light luminesced. Numerous mudras flashed through his fingers as he was targeting various aspects of cosmos, and paused at the vajra mudra. Waves of mental energy poured into the spot between eyebrows, as he wanted to give a last shot, his objective was to plunge himself into the head lotus, which forges connection between the body and soul and use it to get out of the body, causing voluntary death. His lean frame glowed with extravagant dark golden light, and in absorption he moved his feet slightly as an impulse. Out of the blue, a hunting arrow whizzed past, and struck his feet. A shout of pain emerged from his lips out of control, and the light he emitted dimmed immensely, as he was jolted into his wakefulness. A seven feet tall giant hunter sped across the wilderness and saw Krishna. His face which was just now drenched with enthusiasm, faded to that of terror and regret. He dropped to his knees in fearful respect, "I am sorry, O Sage. I broke your meditation and even shot you thinking of you as a prey. Curse me! Or I won't be able to live with this sin." Krishna saw the fear the giant man had, in terms of bodily strength if he wished he could easily break up the body of a man as nimble as Krishna was in this moment, yet he was not as arrogant in his presence. He thought, "There is no point in cursing this guy, that would make me exhaust a lot of mental strength, I can't waste any time. Also, it is not his mistake exactly, had it not been that I wanted to severe the weak attachment charm that was placed deep in my foot by that pampered son of mine, I wouldn't have moved my feet and would have avoided being shot."

He peered at the hunter's pitch black eyes and found raw honesty and simplicity. "You don't have to worry, I was preparing to die and you helped me in that. So, you committed an accidental virtue instead of a sin."
Krishna waved his hand, and a leaf flew in his hand, he pressed it like it was lifelike and gave it to the kowtowing giant who was crying loudly like a child, "Take this to your wife. Make her boil this and eat it, she would survive the sickness she is suffering for some months! Leave now and don't enter here again or I may change my mind!!"
The giant's eye popped out, as he kept staring at Krishna for a while, shaking his head, he returned to his senses and thanked Krishna with his heart. Prostrating before him three times he sped of the way, he came from. Krishna took a deep breadth and checked his feet, the arrow targeted his heel. He laughed, such a small wound on the heel was not at all life threatening for him, since he had faced many such wounds in battles. His blood was overflowing at a rapid pace, and becoming nourishment for the soil, now his frame had become even leaner. His brows contracted as he reverted to his meditative state, and in this attempt quite easily left his body through the lotus situated between the eyebrows. He tried to uncover the secrets of the remaining lotuses but he could only flower 1 more lotus, totaling his 85. In the form of a soul, it was not as difficult for him, since in the virtual realm he was able to feel his mind, body and soul as separate interconnected entities. He looked at his withering body, as it was a discarded cloth, with a ray of his divine sense he cremated his own body in order to fulfill his own last rites. From the triple stars, he wrapped his soul around sunlight rays of one of the stars, stygian death aura and diffused still life aura exploded in an upheaval, and entangled with one another as snakes coiling on to each other and they merged with him. A fleshy mass of human body reformed in an instant just like before, Krishna chose a middle aged appearance with his pitch black hair. He chuckled softly, "The process of death is quiet amazing. It's just that death only refers to mortal death. And that is not actual death."

He lightly punched across the space, unleashing a vortex of spacetime, and teleported into southern hemisphere. Dazzling peach blossoms welcomed him in the south of the mainland, he touched some dropping leaves and felt them through his hand and mind. Winter season would begin in 6 months. He sat down and surveyed the skies in night. There was no actual night in this planet, unless a tribular eclipse occurred once in a hundred planetary years when eclipses of all the three stars coincided. So, the so-called night was when the light of only the dying star, the white dwarf was visible apart from the 11 moons rotating about the rings of the planet. The luminosity of white dwarf being almost thousandth of the other two stars, it was almost nothing in the sky, and created almost night. Krishna was in deep thought as he scanned the sky both through his eyes and divine sense, "Eldest Senior said that I should search for a blackhole with 2 stars in orbit. But there may be many blackholes even among the winter seasonal constellations. He didn't specify any direction, knowing that searching for a black hole is not a child's play." He scratched his head in desperation, knowing it would be useless to search for black holes and eliminate them for a likely position of the Seven Sages.
"I hope they aren't in the Observable Universe, for it cannot be visible by naked eyes from here in the Outer Void." He dismissed the idea, the sages wouldn't fool him on this matter. Apparently, maybe this was also another test. Krishna was quiet fed up of this behaviour of being tested, having experienced it it his youth, made him into an extremely sinister and alert person in his mortal life. Would he be so easily fooled now?

Hello ladies and gentlemen! Welcome to my first attempt at writing a novel. I am preparing to participate in the 2017 NaNoWriMo event so enjoy the first chapter as that's here early only to ensure that I have a place to post once the event starts. This means the first novel/book will have a target of 50,000 words. I'm excited to attempt this challenge despite the hurdles I will have to overcome. I do have a demanding full time job so planning time to write and make weekly releases starting in November will be my biggest challenge. Also, please accept my apologies on my cover. I'm not an artist and the only digital tool available at my disposal is the stock microsoft paint. So I did my best to create a decent cover as I did not want to steal the work of another. If there are those interested by the end of November in donating a new fan made cover then I will look into replacing the old cover.

Tales of the Willful Autonomous Nanobot Generator
Due to over-engineering and poor parenting; a nanobot generator is sent into the wider universe, ready to solve any and all problems...though probably not the way that was intended, or even hoped for. This story is a first time attempt to use a literary device I came up with, where I use 4 randomly selected songs to write short stories. As such there really won't be any cohesive story thread between chapters. If this gets traction, the likelihood for reader polls to influence the next story are high.
