《the anomaly named black》Chapter(6) Dungeon and goblins

Five armoured individuals stood in front of an almost illusionary portal.
Byron, Guild-master Markus and three others.
They appeared one week ago, with a system notification explaining to them they actually led to an extra-dimensional space full of riches and opportunities but also equal amounts of danger.
Byron believed the system, but not everyone was like him.
Some tried to break the portal, but as soon as they got close, a transparent barrier with a timer would block all forms of attacks.
Yet, they all gave up.
The adventure’s guild set up a temporary camp there after to recruit and train all those who were willing.
Byron was there before anyone else. The Guild-master had tasked him to survey area and make sure it was safe beforehand.
It was there he met the three others that would become his party members.
The guild master was a retired rank two that suffered from a soul wound.
Because of this, he had to stop using his powers or else his soul would crack.
Having a crack soul is lethal for any mortal, regardless if it’s a small crack or not.
They would plunge into madness soon after.
But the system came and healed him.
Byron wasn’t all that surprised because it had healed him as well.
When the system descended, it healed all wounds regardless if it was mental or not.
Byron, who thought the system couldn’t surprise him anymore, was once again shocked.
Repairing mental disabilities was unheard of.
Stepping forward, Byron hauled his combat axe over his shoulder and walked through.
[Welcome to the Goblin cave! a goblin themed dungeon. This dungeon only has one floor but endless waves, the system reward you after each 5 waves! good luck oh and each wave will become increasingly more difficult!. Good luck!]

“Why are yo-” Markus was about to question Byron, but an arrow shot past him, evil laughter echoed in the dimly lit cave. Sending a shiver up everyone’s spine.

He slowly backs up until his back is against the wall like my own, "You're..my neighbor?" He points to my door and I nod my head quickly. He hums softly, "You been here a while?" He asks and I nod my head once again. He chuckles, "Ya head hurt?" I nod again but stop as he laughs softly, "I-I mean.. no.. it doesn't." My cheeks burn red as I look at my shoes, "I-It doesn't hurt.." I repeat like a dummy and listen to him clear his throat, "So do you actually live there or was it bull?" He nods to my door and I play with my fingers, "Yeah.. I do.." I feel his eyes watch me and I quickly stop. "You live with your boyfriend or do you like sweatshirts that reach your knees?" He teased, making a giggle slip past my lips. I look away to the floor again, "I-I like big shirts... a lot." I mumble softly and he nods his head, "Hol' up." He puts his box down before walking over to one of the grey bins. I nosily watch as he pulls out a big grey sweatshirt, "Here." He holds it out for me to take and I stare at him with wide eyes, "F-For me?" I hesitantly grab the soft fabric as he chuckles, "Nah for ya mom." I puff my cheeks a little and give him a small glare, "Hush." He leans back against the wall and shakes his head, "It's cold out. You should put it on." ____________________________She was a shy girl from the city with no spine and a list of problems so long that it could touch the floor and roll off her shoes. World tag#001 (Revised)
When you wake up and you are told you are dead and in the process of reincarnation, do you believe it’s a dream, a hoax or the truth? Talking with a self declared God, who apparently doesn’t care at all, spring much more questions than answers, so the adventure begin. This is my first attempt (highlight on attempt) to write and I’m not a native speaker, so sorry in advance for any mistake and hope it will be interesting. The cover and the, hopefully, future maps are generated by: topps.diku.dk/torbenm/maps.msp This version is an overhaul of "World tag#001", same story but longer chapter.

# The Gemstone of Ominium 2 - Pain
Her unfazed expression didn’t even waver when the blade of her thin sword pierced one of the men all the way through armor, flesh and bone, a gurgling sound bubbling from his throat. With a kick she mercilessly pushed him back, freeing her blade, and glanced down at his dead body sprawled at her feet, confirming that death had indeed taken him. Stepping over the dead man’s body as if it were a mere pebble on her path, she raised her head just in time to see her second attacker lunge at her and, nimbly turning on her heels, she slit his throat. A spray of hot, sticky blood hit her left cheek and slid down her neck, but she didn’t even blink. The scent of the fresh blood filled her nostrils and her brain like an inebriating drug and she stepped forward once again, lightly turning to one side to avoid being decapitated and quickly returning the favor. One by one the men kept falling as she advanced, victims of her lethal, almost mechanical movements, as if she’d been born with a sword in hand and ready to kill …* This is a direct continuation of Book 1 - Denial. You CANNOT start reading Book 2 without reading Book 1, since the story won't make any sense! Enjoy ^_^*
