Not having anything to cover the hole with, Allaine immediately moved towards the hole and used his body to cover It... Sitting cross-legged and spreading his back and arms to cover the entirety of the hole...
At just 5 seconds before he accomplished this movement, an adult different from earlier appeared in front of his eyes. From his huge belly and sleeveless shirt, It indicates that he's a middle-aged man with an unshaved mustache...
He looked at Allaine with his bloodshot eyes, while holding at the bottle of beer.
"Oi, where did that sound came from?"
The guy finally used his mouth and uttered words to Allaine! With that voice, Allaine's heart pumped 3 times faster than a normal person would! As If a construction site was happening inside his heart, It pumps! It pumps! IT PUMPS!!!
"Oi, answer me... kid!!! Where did that sound come from?! You're not doing something nasty, right?!"
While saying those words full of power, he, at the same time, smashed the bottle of beer he's holding at the bars... The sparkly shards flew over towards Allaine's area and stabbed his right shoulder, landing an indirect hit!
Sharpening those bloodshot eyes, he glared at Allaine full of blood lust. No one knows If this blood lust came from the lack of rational thought due to alcohol but... at Allaine's mind... this guy is already a demon that would pass bring danger to him!!!
"Oi kid, If you won't answer, I'll open this piece of shit cage and rip your organs from your body, you hear me?!"
Holding the bars with a powerful grip, he once again uttered words that possess power! Danger! Danger!! DANGER!!!
Allaine's shoulder is damaged but he refused to bring down his shoulder, because the moment he did that, the possibility of this guy finding the hold despite being in the middle of the night rises!

But! But!! BUT!!! Allaine's heart is filled with nothing but fear! His human instincts activated themselves and recognized this adult to be a danger to his existence!
Can't even utter words so that he can escape this predicament, he just stayed there dumbfounded while looking at the man with shaking eyes... Pupils that are shaking out of fear!
Seeing those shaking eyes of his, the man turned his back at Allaine and said with a low voice:
"Forget It, you don't have long to live anyway"
Those words echoing in the middle of the night, Allaine heard every single word of that. Even knowing that the man finally left, he doesn't feel any relief at all... His chest is in pain, his shoulder stings, his arm is in so much fatigue...
He continued to breathe ruggedly for a while, clinging to his chest with his left shoulder and his right shoulder relaxing beside him... At that moment, relief finally arrived...

"Now, let's see what this hole leads into..."
After calming his heart and mind down, he finally took the resolve to enter the hole that the dust explosion made. Before he does It, he closed his palms and prayed to the gods that hopefully, hopefully... It's the exit!
Hopefully, It's the light that he's hoping for! Hopefully, It's the way to his family!
Hopefully, this is the end!
He prays to the gods that he believes In! After finishing the wishful thinking, he inhales air... Allowing himself to calm down no matter the result... and he crouched down...
While still crouching down, he walked... trying to pass by the hole. The hole is large enough to fit a person only If you crouch down. Only 5 seconds have passed and he finally reached the end of the hole... He stood up, turning his head left and right, scouting the area for any possible positive outcome to happen... But! His expectations are betrayed!

"Tsk, It's another cage..."
Precisely! The cages are double-sided! But knowing this information didn't ease even a tiny bit of Allaine's frustration! More so, It's the opposite! The unseen hand once again attempts to take over Allaine's heart. Filling It with negativity...
But turning his head around, a girl hugging her knees can be found. A girl in her teens just like him with her pale blue eyes still shining even in this darkness... Her skin is supposed to be white as the snow got destroyed by the rugged clothing and the mud all over It... The silky black hair she is supposed to have is ungroomed...
But knowing those details, you can say that she's beautiful If you imagine what her appearance is before she came here...
Continuing to stare at her, the girl finally took notice of Allaine. No matter what happens, this line of events will surely, surely will be long...
