Letting that one wish to come out of his mouth, he carelessly stated that phrase, and the moment he did... As If a string of hope just hit him, an idea arrives!!!
"Explosion! That's It!"
He crouched down outside the bars and took the plastic cup he drunk yesterday. He held It within his palms and at his left hand is a pretty medium-sized stone!
He put the plastic cup at the soil and with all his strength, destroyed the cup by smashing the stone to It! The fragments of the cup flew but some are still in front of Allaine!
"If what I learned at school is right... Then, this would work!"
What he's trying to make is a type of explosion that could be done anywhere! A type of explosion that at the same time, needs the precise calculation to intentionally make! That's right! DUST EXPLOSION!!!

For Dust Explosion to occur, you need three things that are also known as the FIRE TRIANGLE!
1. Fuel to burn
2. Oxygen
3. Ignition source
The Fuel to burn needs to be combustible or else It will flop like an outfielder failing to catch the pop fly even though It's right beside him.

Allaine stood up once again and grabbed some leaves from the leaves outside the bars and placed Them near him. After that, he grabbed the stone once again, positioned the plastic fragments, and...
"REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!"
SMASHED IT TO PIECES!!! Every strike of the stone was filled with punch resulting in the fragments flying away due to the law of inertia! But the remaining fragments that didn't fly dispersed and slowly, slowly... Like a beautiful woman's beauty slowly vanishing, the plastic shards, for every strike and smash of Allaine turns to... smaller fragments!
Then that smaller fragments once again smashed to pieces! This procedure will be done once again to turn the pieces into smaller fragments!!! Then eventually, eventually, EVENTUALLY!!! It will turn to dust!
Before Allaine knew It, his arm is not moving anymore due to fatigue... It's already night and the cold air from the mountains is now seeping through... So for now, he sat down at the corner once again thinking about his actions...
"This requires more effort than I thought, what If this doesn't work then all that time will be wasted and all those efforts will be for naught..."
Before he knew It, the unseen hand already tried to make Its way to his heart... Trying to enter his soul and fill him with negativity, But!!! He slapped his face with his left palm, returning to his sense, and said mildly:
"I shouldn't think like that... If I think like that, nothing will happen"
The unseen hand tried to enter his heart but this time, Allaine already built a great wall within his fragile heart! Repelling the negativity and soul-consuming spirits that influence him to the wrong path!
"Anyways, these smaller fragments are still not enough... I still need to grind this for It to turn to pure dust"

He whispered to himself, then he left the dust he made at the soil and the stone beside It. He took another weird stone that has a weird shape and placed It beside another stone just so he won't need to find a replacement If the other stone disappeared...
With that, his fatigue came up and turned back to rest when... The cold wind emitted by the mountains arrived at him and...
"Geez, It's so cold... This wind... this wind... will blow away the dust!!! Shit!!!"

A World With or Without Aliens
Nothing matters. It's not my opinion, it's a scientific fact. This is neither good nor bad, it just... is. I watched my entire country burn, fried on a patriotic pan after some jerk fired a bunch of nukes at the docile fleet of alien ships hovering over us. Who gave this moron such power? I don't know. Everyone involved is most likely dead by now. As for me, I can't die. I feel pain like a normal person would (I think), but no matter how terrible the conditions, I will never die or pass out. Fortunately, a lot of alien technology survived its crash to Earth, so I get to spend some time playing with it until Mr. Author gets bored and decides to screw up my life. Beware, this has a "harem" tag. If you haven't figured it out yet, I'm the main character and am therefore subject to this novel's timeline. While this bars me from the sweet ignorance of Chapter 1's me, it does have other perks... for example, I can tell you that heroine number one is personally responsible for kil-!? H-hey, back off! I'm your character, so if you didn't want me to be like this, then you should've written me differently! Randomguy here! In all seriousness, this novel is meant to explore the concept of nihilism as a post-apocalyptic/supernatural-scifi/satire told from a nihilistic introvert's first-person perspective. As you heard from my unsettled main character, each heroine is going to be a different type of horrifying socio/psychopath with dark motives and dangerous abilities (most of which are psychological). Why would I do something like this? Because I am, in reality, a nihilist who is often frustrated by weird things, like unrealistically dramatic stories, the industrialization of art (specifically music), and people who think swimming in brown creekwater for five hours is a "fun" activity. Don't get me wrong, neither me nor my character are depressed, we're just malcontents who make a lot of nerd references. I feel like the true essence of an "everything is worthless" perspective is lost on most pop-culture figures. The closest character I can think of at the moment is Rick from Rick and Morty, who is a drunk, angry nihilist that experienced tremendous loss. I, personally, find this belligerent state of mind to be very relatable, and have incorperated it into every chapter's introduction. Here, the main character talks directly to the reader (and me), shamelessly complaining about some semi-relevant facet of society, which probably doesn't make much sense... it's not really supposed to, though. These "angry nihilist" moments are just a peak into the main character's everyday existence, and also act as miniature rage-journals for me. It will sometimes take a subjectively 'positive' turn, but not very often. This is because reality isn't good or bad, "it just... is". I will eventually bring it full-circle to optimistic nihilism, since that seems to be a more practical way to live (and by "practical", I mean "doesn't create mental health issues"). It is, of course, a satire. I did this because most unnecessarily emotional moments or people usually make me feel kind of awkward, so I decided to mock them. That is, I plan to mock the characteristics about them I don't like in characters based solely off said characteristics. Thanks for reading, and I hope you enjoy my story!

Andrew and his friends, Isaac, Lisbeth, and Cameron meet a shady man on the way home from school. This man promises them adventure on another world, called Calorin, if they are willing to help him with an experiment. This experiment requires the use of a bracelet, one that cannot be removed once bonded to but will give them abilities such as healing or enhanced strength. Thanks to some peer pressure Andrew reluctantly agrees to join the experiment. The friends are soon on their way to Calorin but Andrew notices feelings coming from the bracelet, ones that want nothing to do with the strange man. It is just before they arrive at their destination that the bracelet changes everything for Andrew and he finds himself separated from his friends and the strange man. Stuck in the middle of a forest Andrew will need to find out where he is, how to find his friends, and why the bracelet has been acting the way it has. Author's Note:This story is a sidequel/prequel to Artifice: Tools of the Gods. As it only has one or two connected characters there is no need to read one or the other to understand them.
