With that, Yanlei was able to convince Jose to do a gamble. Yanlei just nodded and said to him:

"Follow me, then."

After that, he walked towards the curtain at the very corner of the whole casino. Jose and Antonio followed him. After he swiped the curtain... a square-shaped dark room can be seen. There's a faint light in the ceiling and It's enough for them to see each other. There's nothing like furniture in this room. But there's a stair at the side and in the middle of the room... there's a roulette.

In front of the roulette, there's a guy with a black suit. He has a mask so you can't see his face. He immediately bowed to Yanlei as he walked over.

"Okay, Jose... this is where the gamble begins."

Hearing those words... Jose can't help but gulp down some saliva.

"See this roulette here? Well, every gambler knows this. But since you're not... I'll explain it to you. This roulette we have here is called 7 Numbers Roulette. See these numbers that surround the roulette? Just bet on one of these numbers... and the roulette will spin. Jose stared at Yanlei before making his decision. What makes this roulette different is the fact that there are only 7 numbers you could choose from. A normal roulette table will have 30 or more numbers to bet on. Making your odds lower.

So let's just say that there's an exact 30 numbers you could bet on at a normal roulette table. True, you can choose to bet on other numbers but in the end, something will lose anyway. That's why gamblers tend to bet All-In to a specific kind of number to try and test their luck.

Out of 30 numbers, you only bet on 1. So you basically have 1/30 chance to win. Very low odds!!! Adding to the fact that the dealers are probably cheating or maybe they rigged the roulette, by putting a magnet to try and move the course of the iron ball. Making your odds... 1/100!!! In short, impossible!!!

But in 7 Numbers Roulette, you can only choose 1 number out of the 7 numbers you could bet on. You can't try to bet on multiple numbers, making your odds 1/7. Not a bad odds, if I say so myself.

In short, this 7 Numbers Roulette appears to be more biased to the player.

"Okay, I'll bet 100 Pesos to the number 1"

Yanlei just smiled and said to Jose...

"I forgot to tell you, Jose. But you're going to decide the rates of the gamble. By those darts!"

Yanlei pointed his finger at the curtain in the wall, the guy with the black suit removed the curtain and dartboard can be seen. But It's not a normal dartboard. The words 2×, 3×, 4×, 5×, 6× are written at the board counter-clockwise.

"With this dart, you're going to throw this and It will hit a shape. For example, if you threw the dart and hit the 5×, that means you'll get 5 times that you bet if you won. Normally, this board will spin but since you don't really have the accuracy, we decided to just let it be."

"5 Times!?"

If Jose bets 100 to a number and he wins... multiplied by 5, It will be...500 Pesos! Almost 1/4 of his savings!!! But...!!!

"If you lose... you'll have to pay the same rates... you have to pay 5 times."

Understanding this new rule, Jose once again gulped down some saliva in his throat. Yanlei smiled at him, then gave him the loaned 2,500 pesos as promised. Antonio in the sidelines can't do anything but to stand in the corner as Jose was deciding what to bet.

After 5 minutes of waiting... Antonio finally made his move! He walked towards Jose and whispered something to him. Then, Jose dropped a bill to the number 31, then picked up a dart and threw it. It hit 6×!!! 6 times the payment!!!

"Let's start to spin it, shall we?"

At his signal, the dealer spun the roulette and the iron ball started to jump and jump to the roulette. It continued to jump as if a rabbit hopping to the grass fields!!! It continued to jump!!!

And when It finally stops... It hits the number 31!!! Number 31, I say!!! In short, Jose just won! Multiply by 6!!

Yanlei just smirked and gave 600 pesos to Jose. But just as he was about to give it to Jose, Antonio immediately stopped him!

"Hey! Our bet is 1,000 Pesos! Multiplied by 6, It would be 6,000 Pesos!!!"

As Yanlei started to retort... the dealer suddenly gave him a signal that says the bet was 1,000 Pesos. In front of this, Yanlei can't hide his shock! His surprised face was shown to the three people present!

Yanlei just clicked his tongue and gave 6,000 Pesos to Jose.

"I see, so that's what he did, huh? That Antonio guy..."

Just what happened here? No one understands what the hell happened! Even Jose himself! Only the two of them, Antonio and Yanlei, understand what is happening.
