Mr. ShadowFox led us to a large arena on the outskirts of the campus. It is located away from the buildings surrounding the large crystal building, and it has other large arenas and buildings made for training beside and around it.

The outside of the arena was made out of bricks, and a tin, white top for a roof. The arena here was huge in size, and it was a circular dome in shape. It reminded of a basketball dome for professional athletes.

We entered the arena through the enormous glass front doors, and we made our way through the marble and high-tech halls. Eventually, we came across an opening you would see professional athletes walk out of to go onto the field, and we entered through it. Only instead of walking out onto a field, we walked into what seemed like an environment that came from outside. “Did we go through the building and back out again?” I asked myself as we walked through the forest landscape.

Eventually we walked out of the forest, and I realized what exactly this was when I took a look at my surroundings. We are still in the arena, and it has four different areas in it that met in the middle. There was an Urban area, Forest area, Swamp area, and Ocean area. It was really a sight to behold.

Mr. ShadowFox in blur went to the stands of the arena. He really earned his name as The Quintessential Assassin. He then started to explain the rules to all of us. He explained, "Now the goal of this exam is to see if you have the physical capabilities to be in the power training and enhancement field. You will be trying to keep standing until the end of 30 minutes. We will have 30 of the 75 of you here to pass. If there are more than that still standing by the end of the time, then we will start passing people based on how many points you get. Every person you knock out it will be 50 points, saving a person from an attack will be 10 to 50 points depending on the severity of the attack you saved them from, and you will also get 5 points for every minute survived in case there are less than the 30 people standing. We will keep track of everything and everyone through cameras placed throughout the arena. You have 5 minutes to spread out into the area of your choice. Once the 5 minutes is up you will then be able to fight each other. If anyone is killed during this you will be disqualified. Is all of this clear?"

We all shouted yes sir in response. I may be able to stand a chance with these rules. I go to a remote area near the forest and swamp border, and wait out the time limit. Maybe if there is a person or two there, I will be able to out maneuver them with my experience in the forest areas of the city I run in.

We started as soon as Mr. ShadowFox shouted, “Begin!”

I immediately ran toward the area I thought about. I saw that Drazen go to the urban area, Zen went forward the forest area close to the urban area border, and Lainey went to the ocean area. Looks like I won't have any help from her. I'm going to be on my own once again.

I got to an area to where on my left there are towering trees, and on my right is a marshy swamp with vines. I could see some quicksand out in the swamp, and multiple trees in the forest to climb up and attack from the treetops. Mr. ShadowFox broadcasted that the 5 minutes of grace was up, and the chaos began almost immediately. I could loud Kaboomsfrom where I was at in the woods from all the different areas. I began to gather vines for about 10 minutes, and then all of a sudden, I heard the explosions start to get a bit closer. I gripped the vines with determination.

“It's about time I started to fight for my place here.” I thought to myself
