《Yin Demon》Chapter 5

When Auron awoke in the morning, he made the decision to go to the library later that day. The reason for his visit is simple and clear: he has little to no knowledge of the world in which he actually lives.
Back in the village, none of the residents had any valuable information. Apart from his parents, all they knew was about taxes was how much they were and to whom they should be paid. Only his father and mother were knowledgeable. He is well aware that they were most likely not farmers at all, and he has inquired of them several times in an attempt to learn more about his ancestors, but they have refused to provide any information. They just provided him with general information about agriculture the world and cities in the vicinity of the village.
In the sect restaurant, he encountered Edward, with whom he struck up a conversation for a bit before parting ways. While Edward was visiting with his sister in the inner disciple's dormitory, Auron proceeded to the library to research the sect and its surroundings.
On a regular basis, outer sect disciples are prohibited from entering facilities that are reserved for inner sect disciples. However, because Edward is the younger brother of one of the most highly regarded inner disciples, he has been granted a unique visa that permits him to enter the dorms.
Auron went to the library to get some books. The layout of the entire structure is the same as it was yesterday, but this time there are fewer disciples inside, reading and browsing through the books than there was yesterday.
An elderly man sat behind a counter at the entryway. He had a big white beard and wrinkles all over his face. His robes indicated that he was an inner disciple of the sect.
Auron went to him and greeted him.
"Hello. My name is Auron and I wanted to ask about the rules of the facility."
The old man glanced at him then smiled and said.
"Welcome young one. I'm Marcus. There are only a few. First, you have to be quiet in the library to not hinder others' concentration. The second is that you can't take away any book unless you make a copy for yourself here."
Hearing this Auron was curious.
'Are they not afraid that someone will steal their knowledge?'
As if noticing his thoughts Marcus replied.
"The books available here are common knowledge. Anyone with a little bit of money could buy those books practically in every bigger city so it's not really a problem."
Marcus and Auron talked for a little bit more allowing the boy to understand this man's situation.

Apparently, Marcus was born with poor talent. Because of that, he was only able to become an inner disciple. Anything beyond that is almost impossible for him.
Auron then went on his search for knowledge in the following days. He was well aware that, given the sheer amount of books in this vast library, it would be difficult to read everything in a single day, and that he would also require time to develop his cultivation. As a result, he chose to read books on his sect as well as general facts about the world in which he lives.
Ordinary villagers were illiterate. When by some chance they become a disciple in one of the sects, the majority of them are disappointed because they lack even the most basic reading skills. Without knowing what is written inside the cultivation manual, you will be unable to comprehend it. Fortunately for them, the sect organizes classes on the subject specifically for persons in their situation.
Fortunately, Auron did not require this type of assistance because his father had taught both him and his sister how to write and read from an early age.
He'd lost track of how many books he'd read through after the long hours. He discovered that the Chaotic Demon Sect was created five hundred years ago by a powerful cultivator known as 'Chaos Demon,' who is an extremally powerful figure. Contrary to the title's masculine connotation, the purported founder is a woman. Her current whereabouts are unknown, and many believe she has perished, but Auron is confident that this is not the case.
For someone with such great strength, the only way to die is to be killed by someone even more outstanding in power, it's already difficult to find a worthy opponent, and even if that were the case, a fight on this level should pique the interest of a large number of spectators, so in the end, many people would know.
Death due to old age is also ruled out as a possibility. According to what he had read, this woman should be roughly seven or eight hundred years old, and given her level of cultivation, she has at least thousands of years remaining to live. He also discovered that sect master Zeke is actually the Chaos Demon's younger brother, which was a surprise to him.
An additional revelation was that the name of the sect does in fact have a logical explanation. The sect is believed to be 'demonic' in nature, yet it is not plainly malevolent in its practices or beliefs. They behave in a chaotic manner, as implied by their name. They might either fight for justice or become a prime example of demonic cultivation.

Everything is dependent on their own set of priorities. In the eyes of every other group, their adaptability is what distinguishes them as hazardous. They would have been exterminated by other sects long ago if not for their strength, which has elevated them to the rank of one of the most powerful in the kingdom.
Every kingdom has sects or organizations with characteristics that are similar to one another. They maintain a neutral stance toward the kingdom. The reason for this is that the kingdoms are powerful and harmless, and they do not attempt to exert control over those sects.
The sects are free to do whatever they wish as long as they do not infringe on the territorial integrity of kingdoms or harm their civilian populations. When the kingdom is invaded, they will approach them and invite them to join and assist the kingdom in exchange for riches or other advantages. Essentially, sects are behaving as vassals with a considerable degree of autonomy within the larger kingdom.
Currently, the world is divided into four continents. The continent that Auron is currently on is referred to as the "Eastern continent." It is divided into three kingdoms, each of which contains a number of sects whose precise number is currently unclear.
Upon reading about the other continent, he became intrigued because it is the closest to the current one. Its terytory is divided between two empires. The fact that those two civilizations are continually in conflict with one other is self-evident. One is righteous, the other demonic. Something about this continent, known as the Magic continent, aroused his interest because it was populated by knights and magicians. Unlike cultivators, they do not cultivate in the sect. The methods by which mages and knights develop energy are distinct from those used by cultivators. While the cultivator draws energy from their surroundings and stores it in a location near their heart for later use, the knight uses the same energy to strengthen their bodies without storing it at all, and the mage uses it to enhance his energy capacity within their brain.
The other difference is that knights cannot use techniques at all since all of them use energy that they have no access to. Instead of that, they developed weapon masteries that allow them to use their weapons more efficiently. The mages can use techniques but they call them spells and in order to use them they have to chant.
The differences made Auron curious and he was glad that he finally was able to discover who were the people that attacked his home. At the same time, he was also thinking about the reason why such a group of people came so far to his village. He doesn't know the answer to this question but he is sure that it has something to do with his parents and their secrets.
He also learned more about cultivation realms and elements.
Right now Auron is at Qi gathering realm(I) 1st stage. This realm is not giving him any more important benefits. He can't use any fighting techniques, the same for cultivating his elemental specialization and he does not gain any increase in lifespan.
The next kingdoms are distinct from the previous ones. Having access to the Foundation(II) world not only allows him to develop his elemental abilities and use them in combat but also grants him an additional two hundred years of life. Core shaping(III) is the realm in which a cultivator produces his golden core, which is the culmination of his efforts. For this reason, it is considered one of the most crucial realms, as the higher the quality of the core, the easier and faster it will be to cultivate in the future. There were a plethora of prospective cultivators who were unable to progress further in their cultivation due to their hastily constructed core. Those who successfully break through into this realm can become true disciples.
Outer disciple, Inner disciple, and True disciple. Those three are ranks of the disciples in the chaotic demon sect. After reaching Foundation(II) realm one was able to be promoted to become an inner disciple and after Core shaping(III) realm into a true disciple. It is not known which realm allows one to become an elder, but this classification made Auron wonder how strong Lewis is. Lewis as a great elder should be obviously way stronger than other elders. This thought made him curious about what realm he has reached and how old he is.
In terms of elements, he discovered that there are three levels of elemental aptitude: fundamental, advanced, and superior. Basic, as the name says, is the most straightforward and simple to comprehend, whilst superior is the most difficult. People who have a higher affinity than the fundamental affinity are thought to be both fortunate and unlucky at the same time. The reason for this is that among cultivators, none of the superior and most of the advanced aptitudes has been explored in great detail. To put it another way, there are no manuals available for cultivating. It is probable to have the most powerful element while yet finding it impossible to cultivate it due to a lack of manuals available.

Fortuna Verto
A girl’s luck changes when her world changes upon itself, sending her back and forth between a world she knows and another that shouldn’t even exist. Working with her parallel self from that other world, the two must adjust to their alternate form when visiting the other’s world, as they search for a way to escape the chains of misfortune they are bound to. While this story is the conclusion of the trilogy, it is also fully capable of standing alone in its own light, as the world of Celese itself is no longer a place the characters will be journeying through. However, the events of the story are a spoiler for all previous books, in case that matters to anyone. This book has an additional chapter after the final chapter that represents the trilogy conclusion, and should not be read until all three books are read first. Fortuna Verto continues the events of Essentia Animus to advance society into a sci-fi interpretation of Celese, bringing events to a distant world of another star. At the same time, events interpret a real-world advancement into a similar sci-fi age of another planet that shares Earth’s galaxy, a planet that has also been linked by the Celesi Veil. English remains predominant in both worlds of the story, but the presence of both sides makes certain Aethyx terms stand out, while Earth-styled scientific terms will also stand in a powerful contrast. Instrumentation remains an important aspect of the Elemental Era, but the influence of the gift has grown distant after discovering the superiority of the elements. Harnessing the elements had eliminated some of the original limitations of instrumentation, allowing for a self-sustaining focal source that provides solutions to problems such as automation. This turns the development available from the previous modern-day sense of a fantasy to one that is deep-future. Finally, opening access to the passage across the veil will open this progress in comparison to a very similar deep-future parallel world without such fantasy elements, contrasting the laws of physics with the laws of elements in a convergence of time and space.

Conquest Of Mortem
*NOTE* This novel is a war of attrition. To say anything less is a disservice to its demand. While comparable to other such works as Ulysses or Moby Dick, each sentence in Conquest is an enemy to be tackled. Not in the ways of difficulty but in absurd density that wishes nothing more than to destroy what patience you may have. Do not tackle chapters as you would ordinary chapters in an ordinary book. Tackle each chapter as a book unto itself. A foe to be vanquished, a period of life to leave behind. Seek to be master of this work. Seek to overcome. For in its design is the willpower, and the perseverance, and the strength of someone who sought meaning in struggle. As I discovered these in times of ultimate desperation, so I hope for you to discover these things. This novel is a love letter to your trials. May you overcome them. May you master them. May you become conquerer.- SeedSagaA literary epic for logophiles, philosophers, and poets alike. A journey into zeitgeist, the impact of media on culture, and the endurance of morality against an onslaught of hatred. These vague descriptions do little to compact Conquest's density into a bite-size summary. They do however relate the basest themes found within. A plot, if such can be surmised, is strung thinly across multiple perspectives, weaving together these concepts into a seemingly distorted tapestry of indecipherable events. Inspired by early 20th century modernism, Conquest will challenge the reader, and provide critique on the medium upon which all great stories are derived. Further interpretation is up to you now; an explorer among a sea of words. Venture on and discover what lies ahead, in...CONQUEST OF MORTEM
