I was back in the sect with everyone else. They stood in front of me and awaited my profound speech.
"Good, good. It took a while but finally, we can concentrate on sect matters. First of let me tell you my diciples what the Profound Heaven Sect stands for.
The Profound Heaven Sect is an orthodox sect that strives for immortality. I created the sect to defy the will of the heavens, to take our own fate to our hand.
I can't tell you what your Dao is. Everyone has his or her own Dao. I can only help steel your Dao heart and help get rid of inner demons."
"Ancestor, I have a question." Julius asked.
"Hohoho, please do my diciple." I stroked my beard and nodded in encourgement.
"What is the dao?"
Shit, I wasn't sure my self. I was about to be exposed a fraud, I had to think of something.
"The Dao is a path. Everyone has a his or her own dao. You get me?"
"I guess." Julius didn't seem quite enlightened.
"Don't think too much about it, you will form you dao unique to you. It will take time."
"Yes, Ancestor, I will work hard." I dodged a bullet.
"When will we learn killing moves master? My hands are itching, I haven't tasted blood for a long time and become restless."
"Wait a bit, I will instruct the rest then I'll dedicate my time to you."
"Alright but please make it quick."
"Julius,Bould and Bob. Come with me."
We went inside the Pagoda in the middle of the sect. I pressed a jade button and a staircase that lead underground opened.
When we arrived at the cellar the lights opened automaticly. Five wooden pots were placed in the cellar.
"What are these?" Julius couldn't help but ask.
"This will flush the sissy out off you and you'll become real man."
"What do you mean Ancestor?" Bould asked.
"I call these Myriad Lifetime Simulator. Your brain will be connected to these machinese and you will live countless lifetimes in a short time."
"What?" They exclaimed in shock.
"I-Is this for real?" Julius was shaken.
"Yes, but be warned there is a possibility that you end up as a veggie. However the benefits are immense. You will gain an immersubarle amount of willpower and will build a solid foundation."

"Will we know that we are not living in the real world." Bould asked.
"Of course not, you will regain you memories once the simulation ends. I warn you the last time, it's possible that the many egos you have aqquired can fry your brain."
The three seem a bit hesitant.
"I won't force you but know this, to reach the apex such methods are required. Also think of this, you will have the same or even more life experiance then old masters.
"I'll do it."
"Julius you..." Bould said.
"I can't get stronger with luke warm methods. I'm sure I will survive, I will make it through."
"Good, good, good. That's the spirit, this is how a diciple of the Profound Heaven must be." I was so pleased that I said good three times.
Bould was shaking a bit his fist were clenched. It seemed like he was struggling to make a desicion.
"Bould, don't you want to become a swordmaster? With this attituid you are damned to mediocrity."
Bould became startled.
"This no... I...Ahh damn it, count me in."
"Good." Stroked my beard three times then look to Bob.
"If they are going then I'm going as well."
"Hahahaha,such loyal heart."
I went to the console and three pods opened. Julius sat down and the others followed.
"No matter what happens I'm proud of you all." The pods closed and filled with green smoke.
"Computer initiate Myriad Lifetime Programme Alpha 1. Twenty lifetimes."
_ _ _ _
"Do you think it was the right thing to put them in the pods?" Uncle Lee asked me as we were sitting in my courtyard.
I pourd me some wine and took a sip.
"Ah, good wine. Why is it so good, Uncle Lee can you tell me?"
"Because it's aged."
"Yes because its aged but not only that. The enviourment and the storage are also important. Our diciples in the pods will have the best enviourment to grow and age in mind. They won't directly gain strenght but they will have the minds of experts."
"I agree but I can't help but be worried." Uncle Lee sighed.
"I'm worried as well but you must know it best, without risk their is no gain."

"Indeed."
"Maaaaster." The courtyard door flew open.
"Elise?"
"You said you'd train me you liar.
"Can't a man enjoy some wine?"
"What man, you are just a child stop pretending like you appreciate the tase."
"Aiya, well alright then come with me. Uncle Lee can you protect our disciples? Call me if something happens."
"Don't worry, leave them to me."
I nodded once and left with Elise to the Medical Pavilion of the sect.
"What is this place?"
"This is the Medical Pavilion."
Old Asian looking wooden buildings were built here, these were made for pill refinement and alchemy. Alas, I was lacking the know-how and personal. But soon this place would bustle with alchemist exchanging their Dao, giving pointers to the junior generation.
We entered a plain looking building.
"Lay down on the sick bed."
I went to replicator.
"What are you going to do master?"
"Something that is going to hurt me more than you."
"Computer replicate a drug that enhances sensory perception times 1000. Combine it with a pain stimulation drug."
A small syringe appeared. I took it and walked to Elise with a heavy heart.
Elise began to look worried.
"M-Master it must be really painful if you make a face like that."
I sighed.
"We can stop it."
"NO, I'm not the scared Elise from before. Pain is good yes."
I injected the pain drug.
Hiss.
"Is this everything? Thi-Hnggg"
Her body begun to shake and a miserable cry resounded in the whole sect.
"Aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh"
"Calm down, hold on." I jumped on her and held her down.
A black aura started to leak out of her no it gushed out. Her struggle became stronger and stronger. I had struggled to keep her down, I used my beard and hair to anchor us in place.
The bed and wooden floor shattered.
"It's alright, it's alright I'm here."
Suddenly a pain in my neck appeared.
"Puh. Ahhhhh" Elise bite of piece of my neck and spat it out.
"What happened?" Uncle Lee ran over.
"U-uuncl" I couldn't talk because a piece of my throat was gone. I lost strength and was thrown, breaking through many layers of walls."
"Young master!" Uncle Lee helped me up.
"Your condition."
"Warning huge blood, compensating. Repairing tissue." My injuries began to recover and a dark aura coated me.
"Get me up." I coughed a huge amount of blood.
Unce Lee helped me up and I struggled just to stand. My vision was blurry and I felt like I could get unconscious any second.
"Uncle Lee help me pin her down."
"Alright." He grabbed under a console and took a phaser.
Elise stood there still screaming, her voice already hoarse.
Damn it I should have checked the drug beforehand it was much too strong.
I willed my beard to grab Elis's arms and legs.
Suddenly she grabbed my beard and pulled me to her.
"Shit." Stretching my left arm I met her face with my fist.
Boom. She was sent flying letting go of my beard.
"I thaught you too well."
She jumped out of the debris and dashed towards me. Her skin had black fissures and she was crying tears of blood.
"Not good."
Pshhh
Uncle Lee continuously shot her with his phaser which pinned her down.
"Now young master."
Without wasting time I jumped on her. My beard invaded her body cutting off all her tendons and piercing her into place.
"Elise get a grip."
Her eyes showed no sign of Elise.
She was producing too much dark energy and her seed was on the verge of destruction. If this went on she would die.
I willed the power of the seed into my hand and stabbed it inside her soul. With my willpower, I drained the excess energy out of her body.
"Uncle Lee replicate an antidote, you can see what kind of drug I made in the history."
"Alright, alright."
"It's all my fault, Master was foolish and have put you in grave danger."
"I have it."
"Inject the antidote, quick!"
The antidote got injected.
After a while, her color returned and she looked much better. She was still unconscious. Something felt different about her, I hoped that it was nothing serious
