The battle went for hours, and healing myself and secretly drinking MP Potions, I manage to beat all the zombies. There are 60 or more Zombies and The now named useless trio can only kill 4 zombies in total.

With a cost of Jack got bitten.

+41,600 Credits, Power Strike skill, +7 Lv., +37 Zombie bones, +22 Zombie Blood, +61 Zombies guts.

Looking at the loot I earn from this horde then remind myself to open the stats once I walk back to the base.

“Hurry up,” I say as I look at the bruised trio walking at snail pace.

They then nod and walk fastly, At the base, the police were congratulating us and ask about my power. “Well, I am a self-proclaimed Blacksmith. But I am quite powerful myself too,” Was all the answer that they will get from me.

They then stop pestering me and left myself alone to do my things. “Oh, what are we doing with the corpses?” I asked,

“Oh, We will surround the base with it, you can say it can be used as a sandbag..” The Police said and shrug himself then walk toward his friends. I nod myself and walk inside of the base searching for the useful trio and my kiddos.

“Mama!!!” The two then screamed in happiness and filled my face with kisses. “Yo, Thank the lord you are still alive!” Gabe said, “Yea, We thought we going to lose our leader! Ahahaha” James said with a laugh. Then Keith then just show me a thumbs up.

“I see that you teach those wanna-be ‘Heroes’ what’s up?” Keith says as he keeps laughing.

“Oh, Believe me.. I did,” I chuckle and pick up the two kids into a room that are given to us.

After putting the kids down and the trios lock the door, I sit down exhaustedly. Gabe the walk in with a glass of water.

“Thanks, Gabe,” I said as I sip and he nods at me. Looking for the kiddos who are playing with their toys I sigh. “Still think the ‘Heroes’ term is stupid, to be honest with me. They all seem like a kid with Heroes complex and basically useless in battle.” I said as I shake my head.

"Oh, don't forget their shitty power. I could see Jake indeed got some potential, but for the two girls? No. Expecially Lilly. That girl will be the end of me, she is so cowardly that all she do was just running arround. Not even healing us while she dodge the Zombies, Then again. They don't have a proper weapon. Not even a gun," I then rants.

"Like, what is the police doing without giving those kids no gun to atleast protect themself? Expecially Lilly?"

The three then laugh, “Don't know, don't care. They are not our problem to care so let's just ignore them. Not only that, they probably using those title because they are trying to be something." James said as he fixing up his glasses.

"And failing," Keith then add as he fake cough.

“Hey, by the way. Try to not be too close or approach Jack, I believe he is bitten. And he himself doesn’t realize it yet.” I warn the three, They all nod. “We’ll make sure the kiddos were not too close to him then,” Gabe said.

Keith then went all quiet, “What’s wrong?” I ask him, He then looks at me seriously in the eyes, “Allie, I feel like I can just guess what is happening here..” Keith said, “Huh?” The two and I asked.

“What do you mean bro?” Gabe asked,

“Ok, Look. You already see how the civilian is sleep in the camp outside and the Police officer and their family are residing inside of the building yea, Oh and then the Heroes and their 'family' are inside of the Main building! Do you see the problem here first?” Keith asked.

James then nods, “Yea, It’s like the power play. I am guessing that we are not even supposed to be room here, But because we are Allie teammate that we were allowed and getting those privileges?” He said as he put down his glasses, His eyes look tired already.

“Now you mention it, While there is the Zombie Waves. We all 5 were put into a prior safety, while others were just a normal safety..” Gabe answer, scratching his head in annoyance.

“Exactly! And look how the civilian portions of food each week! They barely got water!” Keith said as he bangs the table, which shocked the kids who were playing their toys. “Sorry kids, here a KitKat, go play near the bed,” I said. They then nod, after taking the chocolate they run and giggled to the bed.

“*Sigh* Sorry about that, I lost control of my emotions,” Keith said in apologize, I then shrug “No problem, not your fault from the start anyway, and continued..” I said and listen to his problem.

“Alright, so. I also notice that each Heroes room they will get a room with their own bathroom and bedroom, then a room for the living room! Now, Let’s talk about the civilian problem here! They all living outside, in a tent and must share the bathroom between themselves. And the civilian in here is all counted into 48 people! We also only have 13 Police and 4 Heroes!” Keith grumbled.

Gabe then nods, “Yea, And that is a lot of people, to be honest with me. The Civilian also selling some stuff I notice, but the currency is not a dollar. But food or any equal tradable useful things..” He nods to himself.

“Talking about food, Allie, How much again we will get each week for our portions of food?” James asked as he pulled up a notebook and a pen, “ Hm. I’m sure we got 30 canned food, and 12 mash potatoes boxes.” I answer and shrug.

“Oh, wait, where is it? I didn’t see it and in the room?” James asked, “Ah, I put it into my secret space, Why?” I answer, They then look up as I said ‘secret space’ but then ignore it once again,

“We need some to trade with the armies with weapons. Also, We notice you got yourself lots of chocolate. Do you mind give me 4 or 5 of them?” James asked,

“For trading?” I asked, Then James nod. “Yea, some of the civilian got some useful decorations that they got from scavenger the empty houses. And to be frank, we need some decorations to our new house anyway,” James answer with a grin. I then nod and give him 4 bar of chocolate.

I'm still not worried about food even though I already out of chocolate from loot the gas store, I can buy a bag of chocolates for 10 credits. A bag of chocolate contains about 40 to 50 ish little chocolate, so it is really worth it.

“So, are you done with your ranting Keith?” I said as I bite the chocolate, Giving 5 of the chocolate in the middle of the table so they can eat it too. Keith nods nod and bites on the chocolate as well.

“Good for now.. But knowing the situation on the camp, do any of you think the supplies of the food that the police got definitely suspicious? Like how did they got it from? Where? And is there like a portal to another city? Or some weird power that the government got to send us all of those supplies of food?”

“Ah, Not sure myself. I try to tend to not think about that, too much thought I need to put into that one..” Gabe answer as he shrug.

Weeks passed, I’ve been leveling up by killing zombies. I have been leveling up till 4 levels, Considering how my level up become much more slower as I have reach level 30. Also, Apparently as I hit level 20 back then when I approach the Zombie Waves I have earn myself a free 10 stats points.

And after I reach level 30 I have unlocked my ‘Underground Battle’ and ‘Underground Shop’. Still never went there as I am cautions about what’s the future holds with my weak level.

The useless trio also have been leveling up, but their number is still 12, 14, and 15. Still quiet a small number in my opinions. But I can’t really do nothing as their power is different than mine.

In those weeks, I have been continuously healing Jason and Aiden zombie wound. I also buy [ Cure ] skill from the shop for 2500 credits. The cure keep helping the wound but it is still not quite healed up yet.

And about Jack bitten? Apparently Lily wreck herself trying to heal him. Looking at the descriptions it’s working but her healing power is lower then mine and it’s only healed up only for .2% each healing.

As for Jack, I give him an iron sword. No, I am not becoming nice, It just I quiet got myself tons of them from the goblins back when I was inside of my school.

I also told Rose to keep training her fire power because it’s so pathetically small.

How?

I told her to use her power to fire all the campfire the civilians have outside. She resists but I remind her who is in charge now, which she grumbled and make it.

Our room in two weeks now have a sofa and a coffee table in the living room, filled with a fur carpets. And in the bedroom side we have 2 king sized bed with a curtain to separate it, One bed for Aiden, Jason and I and the other bed is for James, Gabe and Keith.

Also, we install a cupboard in our living room to put some snacks in case I am on hunting zombies, and they all need food for their hungriness or trade for some books.

I can say that we living quiet a life even though it is an apocalypse, But of course, I learn that peacefulness never quiet immortal.

“The Government people will be here! Heroes please meet up in the main gates ASAP!!”

“Tch, And I was researching to make a potions..” I grumble and holding into my Mace, Why? Because the officer told us we need to showing off our power and weapons so we can earn a good benefits for the camps.

“Po-Potions? Can I help?” Lily asked as she stuttered. I then look at her, she use a robes that she got from a priest that are one of the civilian to trade with 2 cans food.

“Hmm, Sure. But I need some zombies guts and some herbs for it,” I answer, As I am not lying. I have earn myself from the store a [ Potioners ] skill. And thus I can create some potions from it. But with my low level it is uncertain that it’s a healing potions or a poison potions.

“Sure! I can kill some zombies for ya!” Jack said with a grin, I then nod at him. Rose beside him just stay quiet and didn’t say anything.

“How’s the iron sword I give you?” I then asked him, Looking at his appearance he is using the police anti-bullet vest that he trade and an iron sword.

Which is not a match of an outfits at all,

“It’s good!! I can slice the zombie with this one easier! Hey, do you think you have more? I’m thinking to use two hand for the sword,” Jack said as he then swing his sword imagine himself in the battle with a grin.

“Hm, Maybe I can create some weapon for you..” I then told him as I look at his enthusiasm, Jack is a 19 years old teenage male, and if I look it closely, it seems that he is actually pleasing to see on the eyes.

And It never really cross my mind to heal him from the zombie bite but now probably I am going to need his strength to keep the camp alive in some way.

Pulling the low HP potions from my inventory, I then throw it to him. He then catch it, Tilting his head in confusion,

“Huh?”

'Please don't catch a feeling.'

“It’s one of the successful potions, why don’t you try that.. Maybe it’ll help with your wounds,” I said as I secretly implied about his zombie bite that he have.

“Wh-What? Thank you!!” He then smile and gulp the potions left nothing behind. Then We all four then can see his rotten left hand healed up and only left a mark.

Shit! I never know that this shit is powerful?! Maybe this is for Aiden and Jason? But how can I level up my skill later on though? Oh fuck, Oh well..

“Wow, Thi- This can changes so many lives Allie!!” Jack said as Rose and Lily nod, Looking at the descriptions I sigh as I knew it, It’s too good to be truth. The potions is basically the same as [ First Aid ] and [ Cure ]. It’s only healed up till 0% but it’ll still going up once more.

“You ok Allie?” Lily asked, I then shook my head, “No, The potions is actually not healed you 100% clear. The bite will shown up once more, It just slowed the zombified process..” I said.

“Oh, so all I do is to keep drinking your potions right?” Jack then said, “And getting treatment from Lily, and yes. It’ll keep you from changed into a zombies,” I answer. They all three then nod. "Maybe one day I will find a cure for that. But for now? It is still impossible."

After awhile, we can hear a loud engine of cars. “They come..” Rose said, we all three then nod at her. “The sounds, are they dumb? Are they trying to lured the zombie with that?” I said in disdain,

“Hmm, I thought you already cleared up the east and west gate?” Rose explain, I then shook my head,

“My mission was the North and South gate, and no one was telling me that I need to do the East nor the West gate..” I said,

The Main entrance was at the East gate.

And that was none of my problem to clean. Yet somehow none of their problem as well,

“You think we need to kill the zombies if they successfully lured it?” Jack asked,

“Not it, My thinking is that to make them to be fast going inside of the gate and we can closed down the gate, Letting the zombies not going to be inside. I mean, the wooden wall they created is good enough to hold the zombies up.” I answer,

“Agree, We actually just got told to be the representative for this camp anyway.” Rose answer,

“And to show off too, don't forget that..” Jack grumble,

“Show off the weapons or the power? I mean, now you mentions it.. What is you guys quest anyway?” I then asked, as I feel like my quest is too big for one person. Even though I can just kill it easily enough.

“Huh? Lily was to heal the civilians, Rose is to make sure the campfires is all good and the torches light surrounding the wall is all light up and mine is to help the police search with other survivors.” Jack answer. I then nod in satisfied, as I believed that those three didn’t do anything useful.

“They’re getting closer, Oh SHIT! Is that zombies? Wait.. Fuck!! That’s a mutant zombies!” I answer as I look at the zombies level, it was 21. For an ordinary zombie that shit is huge.

“Ohh fuck, we going to battle that huh?” Jack asked, We all then grumbled and nod.

“We survive the waves, we can do this one ok?” Lily said as she tries to be positive. And back off, “I will heal you guys! Good luck!”

Useless as always.

As Rose, Jack and I were ready to run toward the zombies suddenly a lighting come out from nowhere, Electrocuted the zombies. Then the gunshot was filled with the zombies head and body, after 5 minutes it finally dropped dead.

“Oh, Look. They actually not useless..” I said as I look at the corpse of the zombie.

“Well, Now we know they got some Heroes with them as well..” Rose answer, We then nod at her and keep looking at the incoming guest.
