‘You two are too CRUEL! How can you lock me in here for the entire day! I didn’t even get to see Jude or even smell him today. Aaaahhhhhh!! I hate you! You guys aren’t my little sisters anymore!’

Stop throwing a tantrum. Yesterday night we gave you the time to cuddle with Jude, didn’t we?

‘No! It wasn’t enough! I wanted to do so much more! I was going to feel every inch of Jude. I was going to touch him down there and see if he reacts to me. I wanted to see how big he is.’

{Ugh, I guess I’ll keep quiet that I learned how big Jude’s friend down there is. Even though I couldn’t see it, the bulge through his pants was enormous. It was exuding so much warmth as it pressed up against me. I-it was so big.}

‘That’s why we stopped you, Mei 1. We give you an inch and you try to take a mile. It would have been fine if you just cuddled with him but you wanted to peep inside of his pants. That’s not how you build a decent relationship. I support you in getting together with Jude but what you were doing was just creepy.’

Yeah, you need to learn self-control or we won’t let you spend time with Jude. Besides, you didn’t miss much yesterday.

‘You meanies! Even I could hold myself back in broad daylight. Wait! What’s that on your pinky, Mei 2!?’

{Looking at Mei 2’s pinky, there was a silver ring with a simple blue pattern on it. I wonder when she got this ring. The entire morning I was with Jude so it must have been after I asked Jude for a massage. Mei 2 wanted to talk with Jude so I went back into the White Room to guard Mei 1 and since the White Room blocked all contact to the outside, Mei 1 and I couldn’t see what happened between them.}

{Looking at the pinky on my right hand, there wasn’t a ring on it. We may share a physical body but our spiritual bodies all have their own differences. Our clothes are different but also our physique. Mei 1 had a normal and tight body, Mei 2 was a little bit chubbier since she didn’t exercise as much, and my spiritual body was more muscular. Looking back, when the three of us had first arrived in this White Room we all looked identical to the original Mei but the differences between us grew as time passed.}

I’m curious too. Where did you get that ring, Mei 2?

‘Jude gave it to me.’

‘WHAT!!!!’

{I plug my ears from Mei 1’s overreaction but I’m somewhat happy at the current situation. It’s been such a long time since we’ve interacted in this way. This past week has been really lonely without the two of them.}

{After learning that Jude was safe, Mei 2 recovered a little bit. I was able to interact with her but her replies didn’t have energy behind them. Mei 1 was still a lost cause and kept repeating Jude’s name.}

‘Ahhhh, I’m so jealous! My little sister is stealing my Jude away!!’

‘Wait! Wait! I’m not doing anything like stealing Jude away! He just gave this ring to me because I can’t use magic. He’s just trying to be nice.’

{Yeah, I’ve missed this scene. An entire week of silence in the White Room was unbearable. I can’t believe how reliant my sisters have become on Jude. The moment he disappears, they become downhearted and the moment he reappears, they’re full of energy again. I’m the only sane person who hasn’t fallen for Jude.}

{But I guess it’s fine. If my sisters like him then I don’t mind. After training with Jude, I could see that he wasn’t that bad of a guy. I pushed him to his utmost limits but not once did he complain. Even when he clenched at his chest in pain, he didn’t give up. I’m sure those scars of his must be hindering him in some way and I even considered lowering the difficulty of the training but I didn’t.}

{I knew he was much stronger than this. He was able to hold off the prison monster and even fight off hundreds of zombies. Jude isn’t a weak person so there was no need for me to hold back.}

“Are we really doing this?”

“It’s fine, it’s Chad’s orders. Besides, it’s just us beating the crap out of some dude then we’ll get tons of Chad points.”

{I could hear someone talking but it wasn’t Jude or Lisa. After training with magic, these two had gone straight to sleep. It was currently the middle of the night so no one should be awake.}

Do you guys hear that?

‘Yeah, it sounds like someone’s trying to break into the room. Considering our situation, it’s probably some goons sent out by Chad. Can you handle them, Mei 3?’

Yeah.

‘Good, then try and capture one of them while you’re at it. We’ll have them spill everything they know and incriminate Chad. That guy has been getting on my nerves lately.’

‘Good luck.’

{I take control of the body and open my eyes. Looking around, Lisa, Jude, and Fifi were all still asleep. Surprisingly, Goldie was awake and staring at the doors. The handles of the door continue to rattle as they try to break in.}

{I get off the bed and wear my boots. I had forgotten my gauntlets in the shower while I was cleaning them so I have to make due with my boots. Any second now and they’ll break through the door so I don’t have time to retrieve them. While I’m at it, I pat Goldie to try and calm him down but he doesn't. Instead, his entire body was raring to fight.}

“Good dog. Let’s fight together then.”

{The door handle stops rattling. The door was being pushed open and light from the hallway was starting to come into the room. The door opens even more and I get in position to run towards them. As soon as I could see a person’s figure, I begin to run towards them.}

“Shush, be quiet. We’re going to go in and tie him up before beating him senseless.”

{It seems like they don’t know that Lisa and I were staying in the same room as Jude.}

“Oh shit!”

“What the!”

{I dropkick one of them and they slam into the wall behind them. He instantly fell unconscious from his head slamming against the wall. I immediately recover and head for the next person. There were five of them but I already took out one so now I only have to deal with four.}

“Oh shit, it’s Mako!”

“There’s four of us. Get her!”

“Fuck, get off me you stupid dog.”

{Three of them come at me while the fourth person had their arm within Goldie’s mouth. Goldie was really biting down hard.}

“Thanks, Goldie.”

{One of the men try to tackle me down but I dodged out of the way while tripping him. He slams face-first into the wall and is on the ground holding his face. The other two men try to grab me from both flanks but I don’t let them. I turn to the left and charge towards the man who seemed weaker. Surprised by my actions, he flinches back a little bit.}

{I use this opportunity to jump towards him. I grab onto his hair with both hands before jamming my right knee into his face. I must have broken his nose at the very least.}

{I roll forward to dodge the other person who was coming after me. He trips on his friend and falls down. These people were amateurs when it came to fighting. I guess these were just the weakest of those in the Chad faction. I hope they can at least answer my questions.}

“Why are you guys here? Did Chad send you? You better answer or I’ll break your hand!”

{I step on the hand of the guy who tripped on his friend.}

‘Don’t bother with them, Mei 3. Just kill them or something. These lackeys don’t look like they would know anything. Let’s just go back and cuddle with Jude.’

{Mei 1 says to kill them but killing humans is different from killing monsters. Since she says they don’t know anything then they probably don’t know anything, but I’ll question them just in case. I can’t say I like the idea of someone sneak attacking another person. I’d prefer them to challenge us upfront than attack us from behind. I would never reject a direct challenge.}

“Speak!”

“P-please don’t break my hand. I-I don’t know anything. I was just told to break into this room and beat up whoever was in there. I didn’t know this was your room. Please forgive me!”

{The guy begins to cry and beg for forgiveness. I wasn’t that familiar with his face so he must be one of the newer survivors Chad recruited. I guess he really doesn’t know anything.}

“Fine. Get out of my sight before I change my mind.”

“Thank you.”

‘Mei 3, watch out!’

{My vision suddenly changes and I could see the ceiling, I was falling down. I had thought this guy was done for but he yanked my leg.}

“Dumb bitch!”

{After falling to the ground, the guy gets up and tries to kick me in the stomach. I was able to block it with my arms but it still hurts.}

“How do you like it now! I’m going to fucking kill you!”

{He takes out a knife from his pocket and points it at me. I try to roll away but he had a tight grip on my shirt. He was going to stab me!}

‘Concentrate, you can get through this!’

‘Go, Mei 3! You can do this!’

{My two sisters cheer me on and I calm down. Why am I running away!? This is the perfect opportunity. Since he was close enough, I bounce my body up before wrapping my legs around his arm with the knife. I use my momentum and bring him down to the ground. His knife cuts me a little bit on the leg but I have the initiative now. His grip on the knife loosens up so I take it and throw it away.}

“Aaaahhh, my arm!”

{I tighten the muscles in my leg to try and break his arm. He wails and fails, but I keep my grip on his arm. Just a little more and his arm will be broken. I could feel his bones creaking.}

“AAAHHHH!!! Someone help!! I’m dying!!!!”

{I was surprised at someone screaming for their life. It wasn’t the guy I had in an arm lock, it was someone else. Both of us look over and were shocked at what we were seeing. It didn’t seem real at all. The man who had his arm bitten by Goldie was turning into black sludge.}

Did Goldie do that?

‘Mei 3, stop Goldie! He’s trying to bite another person.’

“Goldie, stop!”

{I let go of my arm lock and rush towards Goldie. His mouth was open and ready to bite one of the people on the ground. I grab Goldie and lift him up before he could bite.}

“Help!! Someone help me!! I don’t want to die!!”

{The man who was bitten by Goldie had half of his body turn into black sludge already. It was to the point where he couldn’t stand anymore because his legs were already sludge. Only half of his torso and head were still normal but even that was quickly changing. I don’t know if we could help him at this point.}

‘He’s going to die. It’s too late.’

‘Mei 3, wake up Master. She may be able to help.’

Ok.

“Help! There’s a monster within the mansion!!”

{The other man rushes off and leaves his incapacitated friends behind. I rush inside the room and wake Fifi up. Since she was sleeping on top of Jude’s hair, Jude also woke up.}

“Fifi, I need your help.”

“What?”

“What’s happening, Mako?”

{The both of them were still groggy but Jude seemed more awake than Fifi. From the corner of my eyes, I could see Lisa that woke up too.}

“Did something happen, Mako?”

“Someone’s dying and I need Fifi’s help to save them.”

{I grab Fifi and go towards the man who was turning into black sludge. He was still begging for help as his body continues to transform. In that few seconds, the only part of his body that hasn’t transformed yet was his head.}

“Dark element!? What caused this, Mako?”

“It was from Goldie. He bit this guy and this started happening.”

“I see.”

{Fifi floated there while thinking of something. She was staring at Goldie who was meekly standing by my side. It seems that he realized that he did something wrong.}

“Can you save him?”

“No, it’s too late.”

“Shit!”

“What’s going on, Mako?”

{Lisa and Jude catch up and stare at the man turning into sludge. By now it was too late, all I could do was watch as the rest of this man’s head turn into black sludge. To the very last moment he was begging for his life, begging for my help, but I couldn’t save him.}

“What’s happening?”

“I don’t know. I just came out because I heard a scream.”

“I heard some guy earlier screaming about some cursed dog or something.”

“Didn’t that murderer have a dog?”

“He did.”

“Look at that pile of bodies! The murderer and his dog killed more people.”

“What!”

{People were starting to gather around. From their talks, they thought that Jude and Goldie caused all of this. These people weren’t even dead except for the guy who turned into black sludge. The situation was getting out of hand very quickly.}

“I knew it! We should have kicked that murderer and his dog out earlier today. No matter what you say, Lisa. It’s inevitable proof that he is a danger to all of us. Even his dog is a dangerous beast just like him.”

“Jude didn’t kill anyone!”

“How can you say that! Look at all those people on the ground groaning in pain. That black sludge was a human being, wasn’t it? I saw him in his last moments, he was my friend, Jerome. The murderer’s cursed dog killed my friend. Since he couldn’t control his dog then it’s the same as him killing that person himself.”

{This bastard Chad was trying to take advantage of the situation again. He’s trying to pin everything on Jude even though he doesn’t know what happened. Lisa was trying to calm everyone down but no one was listening to her.}

“You don’t even know what happened here, Chad! You’re just spouting out nonsense.”

“What nonsense? There’s undeniable proof right there that Jude and his dog killed someone. Are you trying to protect him again? Even if he’s your lover, your favoritism is too strong. Can we even trust someone like you as our leader!?”

“Yeah, she’s too unfair! She can’t be our leader, someone like Chad is more suited as our leader.”

“She won’t even punish a murderer even though she punished us for stealing food! We were just hungry but we got punished. Now a murderer who did deeds much worse than us isn’t even going to be punished at all, that’s too unfair.”

“I bet she’s just been fucking her boyfriend the entire time he came here. What reason is there for her to stay in his room so much if not to have sex like rabbits.”

“I was an idiot for even believing her to be a competent leader. I followed her because the men in black supported her but I bet she was fucking them for her position.”

{It started with minor insults of how Lisa was an incompetent leader but now they were just insulting her. Chad had riled them up and they were out of control now. I could see that damn smirk on his face as the situation continues to escalate. He had planned this all along, didn't he? I’m not as smart as Mei 1 or Mei 2 but even I could see that everything had gone entirely as Chad wanted.}

Mei 1, is there any way out of this situation?

‘The only way we can deescalate the situation is to depend on William and Gareth. Even these people know not to anger them since this is their house and they’re a part of the government. I’m sure their personal fear of being kicked out of the mansion will overcome their anger so you have to get William and Gareth to deal with this situation.’

Ok.

“I’m sorry, Lisa.”

“It’s fine, no matter what happens, I’ll always be on your side.”

{Lisa calmly smiles at me and I’m glad to have her as a friend. Even though she was the one being berated with toxic insults, she didn’t blame me, the person who caused this situation, but I can’t let this go on. She’s my friend and I can’t just let her be insulted like this.}

{I start heading towards the crowd because William’s room was on the other side of the building. As soon as I begin to walk, I feel a pain shooting through my leg and I lose my balance. I guess the cut was bigger than I had thought, there was quite a lot of blood flowing out of it.}

“What’s wrong, Mako? Y-you’re hurt!”

“It’s just a small scratch. Can you do me a favor, Jude?”

{I was going to tell him to go find William and Gareth in my stead but he wasn’t paying attention to me. He was staring at my wound like it was a life-threatening injury.}

“Jude, it’s not a big deal. Can you go find...”

“Fifi, heal Mako.”

{Jude commands Fifi and she begins healing my leg. I wasn’t able to finish my sentence before Jude began heading for Chad. I try to speak up but I couldn’t.}

‘Aaaahhh, those cold indifferent eyes! It’s been so long since I’ve seen them.”

‘Mei 3, stop Jude! Something’s wrong with him!’

{I try to get up but I couldn’t. My body was shivering too much. Those cold heartless eyes of Jude’s sent shivers down my spine. This was one of the very few times I’ve ever felt fear from the bottom of my soul. His entire atmosphere told me that he was going to murder someone.}

“Jude, stop!!!”

{I scream out to Jude but I was too late.}

“I’m tired of your shit, Chad. You’re always bothering Lisa and Mako, I was tolerating your behavior because of Lisa but you’ve gone too far. You entice others to insult my big sister and you even dared to injury Mako. How dare you hurt her.”

{Chad couldn’t reply back because Jude had an iron grip around his throat. Chad struggled but he couldn’t escape. The strength Jude was displaying was abnormal, he was holding Chad in the air with only his right arm. I’m sure he isn’t capable of displaying this kind of physical strength.}

“Please stop, Jude!!”

{Nothing I said was working, all of his attention was on Chad. His grip on Chad’s throat tightens and Chad’s face begins to turn an unnatural color.}

“I won’t let you die an easy death.”

{Jude’s voice was calm but that made it more terrifying. He is really going to kill Chad.}
