《A World in Chaos》Chapter 21: Group A

“JUDE!!!!”
JUDE!!!! Mei 3 go back out there and save Jude. H-he’s going to die!!
(I couldn’t control myself. The thought of Jude dying was a terrifying idea. What would I do without him? I wasn’t even able to bear his children yet.)
Jude! Jude!! Jude!!! JUDE!!!!
|......|
JUDE!!!! JUDE!!!! JUDE!!!! JUDE!!!! JUDE!!!! JUDE!!!! JUDE!!!! JUDE!!!! JUDE!!!! JUDE!!!!
[Mei 1 was breaking down. All she was yelling was Jude’s name.]
Mei 3, I’m going to forcibly send Mei 1 into the White Room.
‘Y-yeah.’
[Mei 2’s voice was quivering. She was also affected by Jude’s act of sacrifice. He had distracted the goo zombie to protect us.]
It’s fine, Jude’s not dead. He was able to survive the prison monster, he’ll be able to survive this ordeal too.
‘Ok.’
[I couldn’t cheer Mei 3 up. I didn’t have the skills like Mei 1 or Mei 3 to cheer up others. All I have is my randomly amassed skills.]
[Master was staring out of the window looking at where Jude ran. I have never seen her so sad before.]
Mei 3, let me take over, get some rest for now.
‘T-thanks.’
[None of them were mentally stable right now. Maybe I’m the weird one for not being like them. I’m actually somewhat excited that a zombie apocalypse has happened. I know its wrong and I shouldn’t feel like this but I can’t stop it. I must have a screw loose in my head.]
[I slap myself so I can concentrate. First I have to deal with Master’s mental state.]
“Master come here. Jude will be fine.”
[I whisper to Master because there were a lot of people around us at the moment.]
“Of course. I know that already. I was the one who trained that boy. He’ll be fine.”
[Her speech started off strong but became weaker towards the end of it. I can’t help seeing my master like this. It’s too pitiful]
“Come here, Master. Stay in here for a while.”
[I offer her to stay within my bra. We have big boobs so it would be a waste to not use it for a cute little fairy. She didn’t reject my proposal and sat in between my boobs.]
[There seemed to be about 70 or so people within this room. They were all discussing what they were supposed to do. Everyone was panicking but one person stood up to take command.]
“Everyone calm down. We have temporarily barricaded the second floor but it’s not safe. We should head onto the 3rd floor.”
[The door we had come through was blocked by various sofas and tables that were for student usage. There were a few zombies pounding at the door but it wasn’t enough to break through the door.]
[The only other entrance to get here was through a hallway but that was also barricaded with sofas too. It may seem safe but it isn’t. Going to the 3rd floor wasn’t such a bad plan since there’s only one entrance to the 3rd floor on this entire floor and it’s right next to us.]
“That seems reasonable.”
“Yeah, good thinking, Chad.”

“You should be our leader Chad.”
“Chad! Chad! Chad!”
[The situation was really weird. How did this person named Chad gain so many supporters already? It feels like his supporters were already planned out from the beginning]
[His face was good looking and his voice was loud but I don’t like him. The way he’s acting seems fake. He’s probably a really bad guy deep down unlike Jude. Hmm, I wonder why I instantly started comparing him to Jude?]
“Master, what do you think about this guy?”
“He’s a poser. A rat who tries to act like a lion.”
“I see.”
[Master’s opinion agreed with mine so he must be a bad guy. Master just said some Master-like lines that you would only hear in anime or TV shows. I have to write this down in my book, “Master’s Amazing Quotes.”]
“Hey, aren’t you Mako Mei? You want to stick with me and my group.”
[Gosh, some douche with a perm just came up to me. He looks like a generic bad guy who tries and recruits the pretty girl so they can violate her.]
“Um, groups. Sorry, I don’t understand?”
“It’s fine just stick with us.”
[God, take a hint, you idiot. Don’t try and put your hand around my waist, you pervert.]
“Don’t touch her.”
[A man built like a gorilla grabbed perm douche’s hand. It was my good old friend Gorou Gorildo. He is a 6 feet 5 inches giant with muscles you would only see in anime.]
[Perm douche didn’t have a choice but to go away now that my friend is here. This is the power of having strong friends.]
“Thanks, Gogo.”
“You should be more wary of guys like that. They always go after the pretty girls at parties.”
“Hehe, if you weren’t going to do anything then I was going to kick him in the balls.”
“That’s a good place to aim but don’t forget that the eyes are also vulnerable.”
“Thanks but since you’re here, you’ll protect me. Wink”
“Don’t say wink like that? You’re starting to remind me of Lisa.”
[Gogo was the captain of the MMA club so Mei 3 and Lisa have both trained under him. Even though he may seem like a gorilla, he is actually a nice guy. He even enjoys watching anime like me.]
“Hehe, what do you think about this situation?”
“It feels pretty weird. You remember that one anime about zombies and high school?”
“The one with the incredible boob physics.”
“Yeah, that one. I feel like Chad seems like the teacher from that anime. He tries to act all nice but he just wants to stick his dong in every hole he can.”
“I totally see that.”
[While the two of us were talking, everyone was currently migrating up to the third floor. Since the third floor only had one staircase that means that there is only one way for zombies to come up. As long as we block that then we should be safe. That definitely sounds like a death flag.]
“Gogo, don’t go raising any death flags, ok?”
“Yeah, I won’t. I don’t want to die. What’s in that bag of yours?”
[I almost forgot that Mei 3 had carried my armor. She couldn’t use it skillfully against Lisa but maybe Gogo can use it. His big body should already be used to carrying heavy things so this riot armor shouldn’t hinder him too much.]
“You want to see?”
“Yeah.”
“Ok, then you have to make a deal with me.”
“You’re not going to make me sign a deal with the devil, right?”
“Ohoho, I don’t know what you’re talking about. There’s no devil around here, just an innocent cute girl.”
“It’s not convincing if you say it like that. Fine, what’s your deal?”
“I want you to protect me and help me find the guy my sister likes.”
“You have a sister?”
[Oh shoot, I slipped up. My cool act is blown to bits with that error.]
“You know, my sister from another mother.”
“Ok. I’ll take you up on that deal. It’s better to hang with you then all these crazy fanatics.”
[He wasn’t wrong to call these people fanatics. It’s only been 30 minutes since we’ve been in this building but everyone is listening to Chad fervently. Even the professors are listening to him. Wait, is that Professor Jane?]
“Hey, Gorou. Help us move these tables.”
“Alright, see you. If you’re in trouble just yell my name.”
“Ok, I’ll yell, Go Go Powah Rangers, but you have to appear or I’ll just be embarrassing myself. Oh yeah, take your prize.”
“Wow, why do you have this gear.”
“Just for fun. Let me take these gloves.”
“Ok.”
[Gorou left to go help block the stairs and I equipped my gloves. It was pretty comfortable to wear and also dangerous at the same time. The knuckles and the fingers were studded with titanium. The wrist and part of the arm were also covered in titanium for protection. My attack power has probably increased by 50 points.]
[Walking towards Professor Jane, I could see all types of people. Some were sitting down crying over the deaths of their friends or at the despair of the situation, some were sleeping, and the others were following Chad’s orders. Professor Jane was sitting lifelessly with her lab coat still on her.]
[How does Mei 1 usually talk to her? I still wonder how people haven’t realized that we have a personality disorder. All three of us act differently from one another. The only person that realizes it is probably Lisa. She is a nice person so unless we tell her, she isn't going to pry us for answers.]
“Hello, Professor Jane. How are you?”
[I wonder if I sounded like Mei 1. I tried to act prim and proper like her.]
“Oh, Mako. I’m can’t say I’m fine after everything that has happened. People started eating each other right in front of me.”
[It seems that these events have had a major impact on Professor Jane. The way she’s taking it seems different from other people. It feels like she feels responsible for it. I sense a mystery brewing in the air. Time for Detective Mei 2.]
“Do you think there will be a cure for this disease.”
“Disease? Yeah, someone out there will figure it out.”
[She paused a little when I said disease.]
“Do you know what this disease is caused by, Professor Jane.”
“I-I don’t know.”
[Hmm, her face turned pale and she refused to answer me. I see I see, she does know something. But what it is, I have to figure it out.]
“Prof…”
“Hey, Mako. We want to talk to you again. Come with us.”
[It’s the perm douche again. If you want to ask someone to join your group then don’t command them. Now, I’m definitely not going to follow you.]
[He tried to act all cool and walked away expecting me to follow him but I didn’t. He already walked quite far before looking back at me. What an idiot. Who would follow you? He came back walking angrily.]
“I told you to follow me!”
“Hey, stop that.”
[Hmm, so that is their act. Some jerk harasses a girl and Chad comes in like a knight in shining armor and saves her. What a joke. Is he trying to impress me by trying to act like a hero?]
“Tch, I’ll get you next time.”
[Perm douche walks away but I can tell it’s fake.]
“Are you alright? My name’s Chad Chadington. I’m currently acting as the leader of our group even though I’m not qualified.”
“Nice to meet you, I’m Mako Mei.”
[Chad had a posse that was following him around. Most of them were women.]
“Are you feeling well, Mako? I know this situation must be stressful for you. You can talk to me if you want.”
[Talk my ass. You’ve just been staring at my boobs this entire time. Don’t think I don’t see that. Luckily he can't see Master in there.]
“I’m fine. I have Professor Jane and a friend here who I can talk to. Thank you for worrying about me.”
“Oh, sorry for not noticing you Professor Jane.”
“It’s ok.”
[What a creep? He was checking out Professor Jane’s body.]
“Who’s this friend of yours?”
“Oh, it’s just a senior from my club. Do you know of the amateur MMA fighter, Conquering Gorilla.”
“I see so your friend is Gorou Gorildo. It’ll be nice if he and I can become friends.”
[What a persistent guy. I was trying to scare him by using Gogo’s name but instead, he wants to recruit him.]
“Haha, I hope so too. I’ll need to go see him for something.”
“Ok, I'll be in the conference room in the back if you want to talk.”
[I gave Chad an excuse so I could get out of there. His posse of women was staring daggers into me. As I walk away I could hear Chad start a conversation with Professor Jane. He was trying to get in every girl's panties.]
[I guess I’ll go bother Gogo then.]

A Dungeon Tested
Its a hard life balancing all the things a successful dungeon should be doing. Will our newest addition to the dungeon race even survive let alone make it to the top where dungeons such as the megafauna roam? Or will our main character suffer in the dust till some inauspicious and ignoble death at the end of some F-rankers sword? Note this is me having some fun while I wait for new releases of dungeon stories. Feel free to comment on that basis. I will be keeping the first few chapters slow so as to give me plenty to build upon later. I have tentatively given this the gore tag for now. With that in mind "Let the games begin".

Way of the World
In a world of martial arts and magic, where the strong do as they please, a young swordsman seeks revenge for his school's destruction and mentor's death, while trying to stay true to his own values. Arround him, the era shifts as immense powers struggle and scheme for the world's future. Join our protagonist as he travels through exotic lands, meets strange and funny creatures and learns to remain human amongst the carnage. Author's note: This is the first story I'm writting in a coherent manner (I have written a lot of DnD background stories in the past), so bear with me if I make boring or overdescriptive bits: I'll regularly come back to rewrite whichever parts feel unpolished, especially grammatical errors. I would also appreciate any corrections or suggestions.
