Mordan word is true, because of Dracule bloody purge of ministers, which led to Darius rapid growth in power and he soon became the second man in command of the Assyrian Empire, with great influence not only over the intelligence department but also over the internal affairs and the army.
Mordan became the best candidates, the lords, princes and kings at the meeting began to discuss in detail, they were all elites, with educational background and life experience more than others, they soon came up with a workable solution.
How to rope in Darius, if it is not successful, what to do? how to get rid of Dracule, all these things, the counsel of the one hundred nation alliance have taken into account. At least it's certain that I can't do worse than the original protagonist in terms of moral ambiguity; with immortality already in my pocket, and no other useful skills to account for. However, if I were to follow this path, I would have a lot to lose, including an upcoming promotion and my growing relationship with my crush.
