Creeping behind the stone, Zheng watched the pack of wolves, waiting for the right moment to strike.
An unknown amount of time passed, one wolf woke up from its sleep. It stood and stroll around the area.
Zheng's eyes glowed, 'Now!'
He threw a rock at the wolf who was gone far away from the group. Fortunately, he hit it squares in the eye.
"-9 damage"
Above the wolf head, Zheng saw something unexpected. 'What is that green number?'
The wolf growls in pain. Its left eye was injured.
The wolf moves around the area trying to find out about what happened.
.....
'Shh, shh'
Using its keen hearing sense, the wolf heard something in the direction of the stone.
The injured wolf examined it and after a while, it ran at full speed.
Unfortunately, something hard hit the wolf's head.
It was Zheng's work.
Zheng smashes the wooden stick against the face of the wolf and saw the green number again above the wolf's head.
"-3 damage"
'I see! Those are the damages received by the wolf!' Zheng was happy about this new revelation. (Author's note: LOL, that's common sense! Why you lack common sense, Zheng!?)
The startled wolf was able to regain its calm and retaliated and bit him in the arm.
"-12 damage received"
This time, a floating red text appeared on Zheng's view.
Zheng smashes it again without wincing at the pain from the bite of the wolf.
"-9 critical damage"
"-2 damage"
"-3 damage"
"-15 damage received"
The bloody wolf makes a decisive moved and pounded Zheng on the ground makes him dropped his stick on the ground. The wolf's saliva dripped on the very face of Zheng.
"You dirty wolf!" Zheng picked up the wooden stick on the ground and stabbed the wolf in the mouth. The stick penetrated to its skull and finally, fell to Zheng's chest.

Zheng felt the wolf's blood spilling non-stop on his chest down to his lower body.
It was hot.
And it was smelly.
Zheng ignored it.
Soon, like the old days, he heard many notifications.
["Congratulations! This was your first kill! You received 50 Power Stone Points!"]
["You killed a level 3 Gray Wolf"]
["You received 500 experience points!"]
["Congratulations! You received more 300 experience points for killing the monster which is higher level than you"]
Zheng was amazed by the many notifications he heard. He was happy.
But his happiness was replaced by frustration. He looked at the body of the wolf and mutter, "I'm still weak. A simple monster like this was able to do this to me."
Then, he stared at the blue sky and mumbled, "I need to become stronger... or else I will die miserably on this world."
He breathes heavily as he removed the wolf's body from his chest.
Zheng was petrified as he examined his weary body covered in his own blood.
'This was... This was terrifying.'
His left hand was injured and his right leg as well. The wolf also manages to scratch his chest, but fortunately, it was a simple cut.
"System, can you tell me how to increase my strength?"
Zheng needs power. Based on his current strength, he will not be able to defend his village.
Soon, System replied to Zheng's inquiry.
["Hello Master Zheng! I don't know if this is what you're asking for.
Your overall strength depends on your level. Currently, your level is 1 which is based on this world's standard, a very weak. "]
"Then, how can I gain experience?"
["To be able to increase your current level you need experience points.
You can gain experience points by killing monsters, completing missions and more."]

Zheng nodded in System's explanation. He remembered receiving experience points when he defeated the wolf.
["Please note that your level will not automatically increase. You need to spend your available experience points required for the next level."]
"Alright, thank you." Zheng said in his mind and ask, "can I know much experience points is needed to increase my level?"
["Say 'Character Info' in your mind to view your character info"]
Zheng nodded and open up his character info.
[" Character Information

Aside from his high stats on Agility, Zheng did not see any extraordinary from his Character Info, what he needs now is to increase his experience points for him to gain level.
Shhhh ... SHhh
"Awooo!"
"Awooo!"
"Awooo!"
Suddenly, Zheng heard howls not too far from him.
He directed his attention towards the sound, and what he saw made him petrified to the bone.
