It was few weeks since Jordan´s breakthrough to the third circle and right now he was looking over the plans of his camp, so far the camp was of a circular shape that was divided into two part by a line in the middle, one part belonged to the humans and the other to the monsters and beasts.

The intelligent beasts and monsters were also located close to the border that divided the camp, it was for future trade between humans and the monsters and also to prevent the low intelligence beasts/monsters from attacking the humans.

So far, this system worked, there were complaints from the humans and many small fights or just incidents occurred but no deaths or serious injuries, ´nothing to worry, everything is going quite nice´

There was also the first bunch of free humans and much to Jordan's surprise 90% of the humans stayed, it was much more than he predicted. The other 10 % left and went to the other camps, Jordan was thinking of killing them but in the end, he decided not to, if the humans inside his camp got to know of it they would be very negatively affected and might start to rebel.

Those free humans who stayed now temporarily occupied several empty houses to promote the benefits and lure more of the humans in the future, the free humans also got better food and were first on the list to receive tools or to choose the job they wanted.

In the end, the allure to be free made everyone who wasn't free quite jealous, rumors about all the possible benefits were circulating and even wilder rumors about being a citizen started to appear.

Some forced workers were scared of the potential power the citizens would have over them, but they did not dare to complain directly, after all the leader Jordan stated clearly that they won´t be equals.

But equality is a funny term, even before the mana the equality was only a word that the rich used to calm the masses, if you have money or connection/power you aren't equal to some homeless, if the rich and poor commit the same crime the outcomes will be totally different, same for the murder of rich person and poor one, and this was in the society that called it equal at least now things were called as they were.

And with being free there comes the payment, for now, everyone received contribution points that were listed by the administration, the notebook with the amounts was kept under close watch in Jordan´s office.

And with the payment, the free humans there in the camp were already beginning to form "families" which accepted those they chose to their inner circle and shared the benefits they received between themselves.

Those families would soon take roots and will be an irreplaceable force in the camp, they could try to overthrown Jordan but if handled carefully they could serve as enforcers of the system Jordan established, he just have to show them the carrot and stick and everything will be alright, he has to show them that if they betray him they will be punished but if they stay with him they can have much more power over the citizens than in the angels camp.

Those families understood that and accepted it, like that Jordan gained several loyal followers even though they were not exactly the cleanest and will thirst for power, but the same applied for Jordan who was a literal incarnation of the negative emotions and energy.

Those were the internal machinations in the camp and were mostly handled by Jane who became Jordan´s right hand for handling camp, through her contribution she earned the first citizenship, and with her help, the handling of the camp was somehow manageable.

But there was a new problem and that was that many of the humans thought that Jane betrayed them, to calm this Jordan declared that there will be annual voting for the human representation, but no matter the result Jordan will keep Jane as sort of secretary.

Meanwhile, the witch Mary and the demon William worked hard to improve their power, Jordan bought the basics of witchcraft for Mary, and with that Mary drastically improved her abilities but her fighting power was still terrible.

As, for William, he worked hard and progressed steadily through the second circle while reaching the peak of the first rank in the body.

Jordan looked from the window and watched over the town center from which all the stones were excavated, now there were various kinds of plants that produced potatoes, tomatoes, carrots and so on, they grew incredibly quickly but once every while the plant would mutate to the monster and will try to eat the farmers, because of that being a farmer became quite a dangerous profession.

That was about everything that concerned internal affairs, feeling the burden with everything else Jordan couldn't help but sigh, he would have welcomed the sweet release of sleep that was taken from him, at the very least he started to eat again, it helped him to focus and he welcomed this small distraction from the constant work and training.

The taste of good food lifted his mood while the food worked like an energy drink for him so even though he didn't need it Jordan had two meals a day, the meal was cooked by the best cook in the camp and was specially produced from the second or third phase beasts they hunted, the meat from those beasts was incredibly tasty and depending on the element the taste changed, besides the taste the meal also provided nutrients for the refining the body but those paled in comparison to the awakened organs.

Jordan forcefully pulled his thoughts from ´what is going to be for dinner?´ and thought about the problem that concerned the camps around and especially the group that kept sending the spies and was looking like it would attack any given time.

As the saying was the best defense is offense Jordan was considering frontal assault but decided against it, he didn't have enough forces to win again the combined strength of all the camps around.

So far, the survivors were too preoccupied to keep themselves safe and fed but once they stabilize or get desperate enough, they will set their sight on Jordan´s camp.

And because of this Jordan had tied hands if he attacks some camp he may start a massive avalanche in the form of all the human/angel camps attacking, even though he wants to attack the camp who keeps sending the spies he can't and that is because if he fails he will lose everything, once the camps around see that the fat camp is weakened they will surely attack it.

As Jordan seized the opportunity and secured seed while also taming the cowsts his camp was actually almost the only one with enough food, and with the free humans that he released this information will rule many humans to work in his camp but also attackers.

And this is what Jordan is waiting for, once the attackers from the leading group come the final battle for the town will begin.

It could be the other way around by Jordan would rather fight with the home advantage and lately, the time began to be on his side, the wild goblins he released bought enough time for Jordan to accumulate beasts train the goblins, lizardmen, ratmen while also making some weapons for them.

It was surprising even for Jordan, but he had the advantage mostly because of the reproduction rate of the ratmen but this will have to be regulated in the future otherwise they would just eat through all the rations.

With those thoughts in mind, Jordan waited for the attack that is sure to come, and he wasn't wrong as on the window the cat beasts Luna appeared while hissing and showing its teeth, the angels were there.
