Jordan checked the list of demons for auction and read their basic information, there wasn't much, only what they are good at.

Giving more detailed information will be like giving manuals on how to defeat them. Still, knowledge was power and in the future conflict with other demons is given, because of that Jordan read as much information as he could while searching through the options.

So far there were several choices to consider from the list

1)witch – from the description Jordan is not even sure if the witch is a demon, the witch is skilled in curses, something like Voodoo, and has quite the affinity for sacrificial rituals. But the fighting ability is basically nonexistent, ranked low-rank upper part.

2) demon golgar – demon focused on mana with an average talent for it, awakened brain, reaches maturity in the third circle, when mature he will have the ability to fly, otherwise nothing remarkable, ranked low-rank upper part

3) demon saltar – demon focused on the body with an average talent for it, has awakened heart, nothing remarkable about this demon. ranked lower-rank mid-part

4) demon imp – the weakest demon there is, the only thing good about the imp is that the imp has a chance to evolve when imp reaches maturity. Evolution depends on several aspects such as food or the environment, but even with the best food and daily stimulation, there is only about a 20% chance to evolve. Ranked in lower rank-lower part

Those were the demon he thought about, the curses and voodoo sounded quite useful and interesting.

When used correctly they could act as a safeguard against traitors but this was just Jordan´s guess and he wasn't quite sure if the witch could be used like that.

In the end, the witch could be a big win or big loss, other demons were a safer bet, well except the demon imp but Jordan won´t step there.

The imp will require high-quality resources that could be used to strengthen himself, because of this he forsake the idea of buying the imp demon.

With this Jordan bided for several witches and waited, it was a risk and failure will be quite the hit to finances but 100 or so crystals are still acceptable.

While waiting Jordan was going through the list and was searching for information about various demons, he found the demon succubus/incubus in the middle rank and was quite surprised about the price that was close to the ones in upper rank.

In the middle-rank Jordan also found his demon species the demon, Harold.

Demon Harold – rare variant, have separate mana organs like most of the upper-rank demons, average body and mana talent.

The description for his species was quite short despite its relatively high rank.

´I guess it true what they said about the lack of information about my species of demon but that is ok… what they wrote here is better than the diss they gave me before´

Despite the Harold rank, his price was quite low, but what mainly surprised him was that there was only one Harold specimen.

In the low ranks, every type of demon had hundreds of entries, in middle ranks there were dozens, and finally, in the upper ranks, there were just several entries for every type of demon. From what he saw the Harold demon was quite unique.

Seeing it Jordan just smiled and looked at the upper-rank demons to spend his time.

Demon josser – excellent talent for the body, a low talent for mana, separate mana organ, can assimilate parts of beasts to his body, progressively becomes hybrid between beasts and a demon. The upper-rank middle part

Demon tortor - excellent mana talent and average talent for the body, separate mana organ, has innate ability to fly, can create an area filled with the tainted mana that will strengthen any demon and damage any angels/humans/beasts, upon reaching fourth circle tortor can temporarily fuse with the mana in air gaining complete control over it. The upper-rank upper part

The list went on and Jordan read through it until the results of his action came through, from the witches Jordan bid on there were three he could talk to and if they agree he can take them to his camp.

The auction allowed him to bid even though he didn't have enough crystals to buy all three but Jordan wasn't even surprised anymore.

By now he was used to the chaos that the demons operated in, the only rule was not to bid beyond the amount of money one posses if discovered there will be severe punishment of destroying the current teleporting device.

Truly the demon army didn't bother much about the lives of its underling.

Before Jordan, the teleporting gate appeared and he went through, beyond the gate there was a small room with only walls on no roof, through the roof Jordan saw stars so he assumed that they are still on the platform, just to confirm it he tried laying about his name to check if the no laying rule still applies here.

Jordan said in English "hello, I am Jordan Hall, I rule a small camp of humans and beasts and I would like for you to join me" ´so the rule still applies´ the witch was 15 years old girl with eyes that were hateful and bit curious at the same time, she had white hair, petite figure and strange tattoos on her arms.

The witch "… h- ehm hello, I am Mary …, you want me to join? What can you do for me?"

Jordan didn't miss how at first Mary hesitated a bit and how she didn't tell him her full name but the more she talked the more she was confident and it looks like she isn't some pushover as she asked about the conditions, so far he was satisfied with her.

"I will be quick, right now my camp is still developing and every bit of help counts, what I can give you is a fair reward for what you give me, I will provide you with a roof above your head, I will provide you with resources and in exchange I want you to do your job to the best of your abilities"

"hmm, will you go after me with sexual intentions? Also, how do you treat humans?"

´if she asks those question then maybe she could agree´

"I am not interested in you, I like women around my age (hearing that the witch eased up a bit) and as for the humans for now they are forced to do the labor but those that prove themselves would be given some rights, I plan something akin to a caste system with demons on top. Is that enough?"

"hmm I don't like humans all that much… but what you do is quite good, I would like to join you but there is one thing… I want to be with one friend I met back in the world we were in… could you buy him as well?"

Hearing that Jordan started to massage his temples "I understand that you want to be with your friend but what can you give me in exchange? and I am sure you know that buying him might be impossible if he is from upper or even mid-rank"

"he is the low rank just like me and if you buy him… I will work extra hard for you!"

Jordan did not answer and instead, he waited for the witch to continue.

"I will do anything you want!"

once again Jordan stayed quiet seeing that Mary started to panic a bit and was looked in Jordan´s cold eyes, his smirk made her almost shutter

"I will even give you my body…"

´she must be stupid… she didn't listen at all about what I said´

"did you even listened to what I said? I like women, not children"

Jordan chuckled a bit at his attempt to lift the mood but Mary wasn't in the mood for jokes "what I want from you and your friend is loyalty"

Mary tried to open her mouth several times and several times spoke

"We won´t" or "we will try" seeing that the platform caught up to her Jordan´s smile changed from smirk to cold one that made Mary sweat bullets.

Jordan waited and Mary was trying until finally with tears in her eyes she said "I will do anything in my power to be loyal and make William loyal as well"
