It was the 37 the day after the mana came, it was about 4 days after the first cleaning of the plaza and Jordan was going to check the progress on the plaza that was now his camp, he will be going over everything he discussed with Jane and at night Jordan plans to visit the platform on the moon.

The sun was slowly rising, the humans were preparing to go and do their jobs, everyone was smiling and chatting between themselves as they took their tools and went to do their part.

Everyone except Jane and the chosen group of leaders which were anxiously waiting for Jordan before the library.

Soon, Jordan will move to some better building but for now, he decided to stay there in the library, mostly because Jordan does not care all that much about where he will be spending his night with training as long as there is enough space and some training targets.

Finally, the door opened and all the group leaders together with Jane gulped, they were scared because they got to know that Jordan is a man of his word, in the last few days Jordan made some time and took those that were looking for their families and visited with them few camps, those that were looking for their families would show themselves and will ask the guards while Jordan waited nearby and listened to their conversation.

Jordan gave to those looking for their families simple instruction, that was shouting everything they say and never going to the camp, if they disobeyed he would send Max to quickly kill them and then retreat, as those who were looking for their families knew Jordan strength and saw Max´s speed they all complied and none of them tried anything funny.

The search for families according to Jordan went quite well, the number of humans under Jordan increased and while they were going around the humans under Jordan even managed to convince several small groups to join Jordan, with this the number of humans under Jordan sharply increased, and reached approximately 400.

That was the good part about Jordan's word, the bad one was another the public execution, several of the humans Jordan saved tried to escape, and they were caught by the beasts, after that they were publicly executed and then their bodies were fed to the beasts that caught them.

Even though Jordan said he will do it everyone was still shocked, some of the humans stopped seeing Jordan as a demon and viewed him as their savior and expected him to spare the foolish humans that tried to escape, ´at worst he will make them work for longer period of time right?´ that was what they thought but those thoughts ended with the execution when they saw as Jordan killed the escapist with the same smile he has every day at all time.

The group leaders and Jane greeted Jordan and he responded, "good morning leader!"

"hello there, glad to see none of you run away"

the group faintly smiled and forcefully laughed "hahaha, why would we run?" said Jane while nervously looking at the group leaders that were starting to sweat bullets.

"no need to be nervous, as I said, if you gave it your all the worst punishment would be demotion"

With that they all relaxed a bit, Jordan asked, "so where is the first stop?"

"yes, first we will go to the wall construction area that is under Jacob here"

Jacob nervously put his hand up and said "that´s me" Jacob was about 40 years old, had a bald head and a bit of a pneumatic around his belly, which was surprising when considering the treatment they received, nothing else stood out about him.

With the introduction out of the way, the group went to the first stop, while on the way Jordan whipped the notebook from his pants, and with a pen he started to write, seeing that everyone began to panic once more. Oblivious to that Jordan wrote to the notebook "Jacob, bald, 40 or so, construction"

From now on, this notebook will be crucial for him as he just couldn´t bring himself to remember Jacob´s name or any of the other group leaders, besides Jane, he doubts that he will remember any of them.

Without cement the construction group made research in the library and in the end used lime that they scratched from house plastering, after that they had to lit the lime on fire before using it in the mixture, this lime mixture was much worse than concrete, with steel rod it could easily drool away but it will do for now.

The reformed wall was forming nicely and the progress was satisfactory, the wall was 2 meters (6 ft 6 inch) tall and one meter (3 ft 3 in) thick, before the wall there were few benches or just stone platforms for viewing over or allowing the defenders to haul stuff or send arrows on attackers but those were useless for Jordan as he was nearly 2,5 meter tall (8 ft 2 in).

While on the lookout around the wall, Jordan asked "how are the lizardmen?"

"They are great, they demolish the houses with their bare hands and seeing that all the humans are beyond motivated"

In fact, Jacob was trying to subtly ask Jordan about the lizardmen but he stopped, when the humans working at construction saw how the lizardmen worked they got scared and thought "if they work like that is there even need there for us?" but Jordan did not pick up on the hint and simply continued with the inspection.

Jordan's next stop was the cowst, few days prior the first male cowst was born and Jordan was called to tame it, the male cowst proved to be aggressive even though it was just born.

The male cowst looked like a bull with a shell and feral teeth, also unlike female cowst the male ate only meat, bones, organs, fur simply he could eat anything from other beasts, normally Jordan wouldn't keep the male cowst as his consumption was simply absurd when compared to his strength but one thing convinced him otherwise.

And that thing was the male cowst´s shits, just like the female cowsts the male cowst shitted dirt and this dirt was amazing fertilizer so, for now, Jordan ordered to bring the bones and internal organs that other beasts didn't eat to the male cowst, at least he found proper usage for the leftovers.

After the cowst it was the plants, so far the plants all grew like crazy, and sometimes at visible speed, farming now is closer to fighting and those survivors who chose this kind of job because they thought it would be relatively easy were very surprised.

It was clear that the plants will need to be processed and only those that are mild in their growth will be planted in the future, as the plants grew so wildly they rapidly depleted nutrients from the ground and there was the need to feed the plants with beast´s blood or to periodically use the cowst´s fertilizer.

It was normal to use fertilizer on plants but the need for feeding them... that was quite new... at least it looked like the weed that grew almost everywhere stayed normal, but who can tell how that will change.

One positive thing about that was that the first harvest will be soon, with the growth speed the harvest can possible be even next week.

Next Jordan visited the administration, in the administration there were profiles of every human in the camp being done, rules were set, new beasts were counted, contribution points distributed, and so on.

There were more groups Jordan visited like the group that takes care of cleaning after beats or cleaned the houses, but those groups were not that significant.

In the end, Jordan was satisfied with the progress and looked at the group leaders,

"good job everyone, you all pass, keeps at it like that and we will have a functioning society soon"

It was already late in the afternoon and all the group leaders were beyond tense so after hearing Jordan´s approval they began to celebrate.

After they calmed down they all thanked Jordan and went back, only Jane was left with Jordan.

"Good work out there, you will be free soon but I hope you can stay and continue to lead them."

Jane warmly smiled and was looking at the sky, she was silent for a while, Jordan did not distribute her and just waited for her response.

"Jordan, thank you for saving us"

Hearing that Jordan was surprised, none of the survivors thanked him until now, it was mostly his fault as Jordan treated them as debtors, also Jane called him by his name which none of the humans dared to do.

"as we were before we were treated as life stock and all those noble angels did not lift a finger, I was fine with dying back then but now, you treat us as humans I won´t forget that… do you know why they choose me as a leader?"

"of course, but even though you are pretty I don't like you all that much"

"hahaha"

Jane earnestly laughed and after she stopped she looked up into Jordan´s eyes and said.

"I no longer have any family, the only thing I have is gratitude to you so let me repay it"

Jordan somewhat warmly smiled at her and said "sure thing, glad to have you"
