《Earth´s awakening》Library

Jordan walked together with his group of beasts to the town´s plaza, while on his way he engaged in any battle with the beasts around that were foolish enough to cross his path, one thing he noticed was the increased number of beasts that had no element to speak of, they were slightly bigger and stronger but that was all, the only notable things about them were their number and also that their hearts couldn´t be eaten to increase his mana cap.
While Jordan ate one of the hearts from the beast with no element he focused on his body, ´it is possible that their hearts boost physical progress but it looks like my body is too strong to have any noticeable change´ with this he let his beast to eat the ones he killed and experimented on.
Also while moving through the town Jordan noticed the increased variety of beast, at first there were mostly mutated dogs but now bird-like monsters flew in the sky, sometimes there were even flying in the sky some lizards like creatures which still had few feathers sticking out of them with a wingspan about 1 meter and tiny build but those beasts posed almost no threat, for now.
Everywhere mutated wild animals were running, boars that were sometimes big as a small car, some weird cows that had one long horn-like unicorn, and their skin turned to almost shell-like defense.
´it looks like the beasts with elements are those that are better attuned with mana and that´s why they evolved first, they should have higher potential even though they may be a bit weaker at first when compared to beasts without element, also the increase in a variety of beasts around should indicate that animals from farms mutated and migrated here but why did they come? Is it natural and they are only looking for food or did some predator scared them away? I better build an army around myself as soon as possible´

The beasts with elements were now outnumbered 1 element beast to 3 non-elements, luckily all the beast Jordan tamed before were with various elements.
Jordan was nearing the plaza and the number of beasts under his control increased significantly, before he had 8 beasts in total but now he had close to 20, 12 dog beasts, and 3 cats like beasts that were no longer even close to looking like a cat.
Those cat beasts had grown in size and were almost half meter tall while one meter long, their head mutated to the extent that one would never ques they were cats before, just like with Max they had no cheeks, their mouths were bigger and their fangs were like those of shark´s.
And lastly, Jordan tamed 5 of the flying lizard-like beasts, when closely inspected they looked almost like pterodactyls if not for the few feathers on them that indicated their origin that was probably from chickens. ´I read somewhere chickens were the closest to the dinosaurs together with crocodiles, maybe there is something about it´
And with the increased number of beasts Jordan neared his destination, every few blocks Jordan would tell his beasts to wait and would scout ahead and so like every time he told his beasts to wait and only took the cat-like ones with him, he was going to scout the situation, and hopefully, he will find the place where he wants to settle empty.
Jordan tried to be as sneaky as possible while he moved around the garden near the fortress, while sneaking Jordan was pulling in the aura that was normally emitting from him, this was one of the tricks he learned through the day while scouting, it was nothing difficult, in fact, it could be called basic skill for anyone radiating some strength.

After a bit of sneaking Jordan made his way toward a window in front of the library, he slowly poked his head through the window and looked inside, as his luck dictate it there was a huge beast laying on the thrown over shelves.
The beast was one of the ones that mutated from a dog but this one was making even Max look small, now that beast was laying down but when on its legs it should be close to 2 meters high while 3,5 meter long, it was also one of the elemental beasts and Jordan could see clunks of earth hanging from its fur and small fires danced around its fur as well, luckily the library hasn´t burned down yet. ´it looks like even the beast takes the town plaza as a center and only the strongest gather there…´
The big beasts had the head of semicircular shape almost like the plants that are used for catching fly only the head was much thicker and numerous fangs were sticking out of its mouth on its head four menacing eyes that gave of oppressing vibe rested. The body of the big beasts was massive as well with long fur that looked as if drenched in mud and few places that were almost red with heat.
Around the big beast, many corpses were thrown around and Jordan could count four in the size of Max, at least the bones of Max´s size, and from the scratches, on the big beast Jordan could guess that the big beast wasn´t the original owner of the library and moved in just recently, also the number under the big beast spoke about it, there were only 6 normal beasts that didn't even have any element and that was quite pathetic for such strong beasts, the big beast must have recruited them only recently.
Jordan stayed for a while and observed the situation inside the library ´I need to get him outside as soon as possible, it´s miracle that the library didn't burn down, and the beasts have close to no subordinates... there won´t be a better time´
Jordan slowly went back for the rest of his beasts and thought about what will be the best approach, but no matter how much he thought he could come with any useful tactic that would guarantee him easy victory, there were some environmental advantages he can make use of but mostly it looks like he will have to do it the old hard way.

This is my first story to ever be posted. As I am an amateur writer, there shall be mistakes. More so with the fact that English is not my first language. This story is a re-write, and its original version was a request by a dear friend of mine. Though hopefully this version would be far better.. As the original version was a very cringe worthy thing. Many thanks to certain friends that have convinced me to post this. I shall do my best to at least update frequently, without sacrificing the.. quality of chapters. Tags will be added as the story goes on. || Disclaimer: Much of the chapters before Chapter Twelve are of poorer quality in terms of Grammar. So do forgive me for them, by Chapter Twelve and beyond however, the quality of the chapters should have had improved. I'm hopefully gonna fix most of the earlier chapters when I hit Chapter Twenty or Thirty.
