《Bug in this Game》Ch 19 - Midnight

There were about three people in front around them and they were all players staying the night in the game. The purpose was to enjoy the view that fantasy collusion offered that was supposedly prettier than real life. After talking for a while, a player named Leo took them to their tent. There were about 6 tents and with people staying in them. Izoke's tent was in the middle of them and was red-colored. Its space was quite small for two people.
“Sumiko, Is this ok with you,” Izoke asked her with a smile.
“Sure, we should be happy that we don't have to sleep out in the open,” She replied as she got inside the tent.
“Yeah, that's a good point.”
Izoke also got inside the tent. They slept facing the opposite sides and were quite nervous about the fact they were sleeping so close together. They had no choice but to be touching each other in such a small tent. It made two young individuals' hearts race but after a long and exhausting day, they both fell asleep within the hour.
Suddenly at midnight, a loud sound came from outside the tent. It was the howl of some animals and yells from the other players.
“What is that Izoke?” Sumiko asked with a worried expression on her face.
“Don’t worry, stay right here. I will go and look outside.”
“Be safe," She pleaded.
Izoke got outside the tent and looked around. They were surrounded by Grey wolves. Other players about 12 of them were fighting and some others have already logged out from the game. There were a bunch of wolves about 15 to 20. The other players were screaming like crazy. Then there were only 5 players left. The rest had either logged out or died. Some of the wolves were heading towards Izoke. Behind Izoke there was the tent where Sumiko was staying. Without wasting any time he drew his weapon activating “Contact flame Skill”. Black flames overflowed from within the blade like it was the flames of hell itself. Those wolves were normally about level 10. Four of the wolves attacked Izoke jumping from a great distance. Izoke spins his sword 180° and the black flames disintegrated all of them. Izoke didn’t know that its fire would be that powerful. Yes, the wolves level was low but to completely destroy without a trace?

A notification popped up.
Level up!
Level up!
Upgraded to level 32
Izoke didn’t focus on the notification. He looked toward 5 people who were fighting with the wolves. Leo was one of them and he was using quite a unique skill. It hummed and buzzed with a crackle and light Izoke had never seen. He didn't know what electricity looked like being only a peasant from a medieval world but he recognized power when he saw it. Izoke thirsted for this new power and activated auto analyze/copy skill immediately.
Do you want to Copy Thunderbolt Skill?
Yes
OR
No
Thunderbolt? Sounds good to me! Does more skill mean I will have more power? he thought and internally says ‘yes’
Thunderbolt Skill copied *Defect on targeting*
‘That was obvious…’ he was thinking and suddenly a voice comes from another direction.
“Hey man, help us.” One of the fighting players shouted for Izoke to help.
Izoke ran towards them once again summoning his sword and taking a combat stance. There were about 7 of the wolves left. Their grey fur had a metallic sheen and they drooled in anticipation of fresh meat!
Using the same skill as before was not possible due to the skills cooldown time. So, he decided to use “Diablo slash Skill” which he acquired by consuming the Orc spirit. He had yet to test it out but now was as good a time as any. So he slashed at the wolves with the skill. A black line trailed along the blade's path after striking. There seemed to be some sort of combo counter that happened every time he struck an opponent without breaking the glowing line. Izoke was able to kill off the wolves quickly due to their low level and this new skill. The last two wolves received a "Critical Strike" according to the system. It seemed the more enemies he killed consecutively the higher the "Diablo Slash" damage was when striking. Izoke level was also upgraded to Level 35.

“Woah, you got a great sword and skill there,” Leo praised.
“Thank you,” Izoke replied sighing like he was quite disappointed with those players. He personally hates players but he can’t avoid them. Even if he doesn’t save them and they die while fighting, they only loose experience rather their lives. If he loses a fight then he will be gone forever.
“Ok man, go to the tent. I guess we will not be staying the night here. Our other partners are already eliminated. So, we are going to log out of the game. If you want you can use those tents to stay the night and there is some food left. You can take them all and have some fun with that NPC chick while you're at it.” Another boy which was on the right side of Leo who had a quite muscular body said winking at Izoke. His words were a bit creepy but at least he gave off a friendly vibe.
Hearing that Izoke got annoyed, “Whatever…” Izoke went to the tent where Sumiko was staying. He could tell she had been worried about him.
“Woah! What was that?” The muscular guy said to Leo.
“Leave it. Let just log out.”
They log out from the game and disappear into thin air.

Making of a Genius [A Progression LitRPG]
What does it take to climb to the top of the academic ladder? Lexus came face to face with his mediocrity the moment he arrived at Cambridge University to study computer science. There was a ceiling that he could not overcome, an intellectual world that was unreachable. But if you give a chicken an eagle's wings, it will fly higher than you could ever imagine. And that was exactly what happened to Lexus: with the help of a system, he could make it big. Schedule:1 chapter per week (every Friday evening at 5:30pm GMT). The weekly schedule is to allow time for research and factual accuracy where required. Author's Note: The story is about a computer science student at university, gradually improving and embarking on the path to become a world-renowned genius-level expert with the help of a system. There'll be a lot of studying and academics, but imagine being the best in your year. Easily. At that point, academics stops being stressful and starts being fun, doesn't it? The initial chapters are heavy on mathematical detail, but I don't expect anyone to actually read through them thoroughly. It's fine to skim them or even skip them, but I hope you try to get a sense of the progress being made, and feel happy for Lexus when something 'clicks' inside his brain :) As the story progresses, later chapters will go into less depth into individual questions, though I aim to remain consistent in terms of scientific accuracy/feasibility. Welcome, and I hope you enjoy the story!
