《Rise Of The Elf Demon Lord》Chapter 3: Heroes!

Li Wei straightened her arm in which she held the katana, "I never held a sword or a katana before, but I can already tell. I need to use both of my hands. The hilt is quite long and my hands are small. I can't properly hold it with one hand," she thought; then moved her free hand, grabbing the lower part of the hilt.
"This feels much better," Li Wei thought, raised the katana into the air and slashed down.
Swoosh!
Li Wei raised the corner of her lips, "Hmm? I created a passive skill? It says its 1 out of 50, so does that mean that the skill can be upgraded if I reach higher weapon mastery? Since I need more practice with it, its two birds with one stone." she thought and began swinging the weapon. She didn't just swing it downwards. She swung it in every direction that she could think of. And with each swing, she got more and more accustomed to it; her weapon proficiency slowly rose.
…
Forty-nine swings later, a notification flashed.
"Awesome! I want to rise it even further, but I shouldn't stay in this place any longer. That elf will surely come looking for me. The faster I leave the forest the better," Li Wei thought and sheathed her weapon but before she could walk away, someone called out to her.
"Riya!"
Li Wei frowned, "This voice, it doesn't belong to that earlier elf, Zier… Some other elf that knows Riya?" she thought, turned her head and smiled brightly, "Vartys!" she shouted.
Vartys had long blond hair, E-cup sized breasts, a big butt and a goddess-like figure. She was extremely good looking but compared to Li Wei, she was nothing more than just a cow with big breasts.
Vartys gulped down her saliva, took a deep breath and ran towards Li Wei while Li Wei slowly walked up to Vartys. They both stopped a single step from one another.
Vartys gulped down her saliva and in a low voice said, "Hey… Riya…"
Li Wei still smiling, hugged Vartys and whispered into her ear, "Welcome back, Vartys."
Vartys eyes widened and she pulled away, "You are not mad?! That I left you? So that I could become an adventurer? You forgive me? Really?"
Li Wei's laughed lightly, "You saved everyone by slaying the evil demon lord! How could I be mad at you, the great hero Vartys. Although I will admit, I was angry when you left the village," she said and thought, "This situation couldn't be any more perfect. When I heard about you, Vartys, I knew that I was in trouble. If I met you in the village, I would have been forced to talk to you as a person with amnesia and if that happened. You wouldn't have left my side right until I recovered. As after all, Riya and you were like sisters. So, I had no choice but to run away, which in turn created another issue. Once you found out that Riya who had amnesia ran away, you would have given chase. But now I am meeting you as Riya, your dear best friend, your sister, who remembers you perfectly well."

Vartys breathed out a sigh of relief, "Thank the elven god, I was so afraid that you wouldn't forgive me."
Li Wei shook her head, "I never said that I forgave you. I only said that I wasn't angry with you."
Vartys shuddered, "Please, I will do anything. Please forgive me Riya…"
Li Wei smirked inwardly, "That was easy," she thought and said, "You will have to go through the same thing as I did and I will forgive you. Stay in the village and I will go out and have adventures of my own. Once I return, I will forgive you."
Vartys nodded with a wide smile on her face, "Really?!!!"
"Yes, really… but before I go on my adventure, I will have to tell you something,"
"What is it?" Vartys asked with a wide smile.
"You see, Zier has been bullying me," she lowered her head; tears formed in her eyes, "There were even a few times when I wanted to commit suicide."
Vartys's eyes widened in shock, "What!?"
"It's true, she always insults me, you mustn't believe anything she says. You can't believe anything."
Vartys hugged Li Wei, "My poor Riya, you have suffered in my absence, didn't you. Okay, I won't believe her. I will wait for you to return my dear Riya. I won't believe a single word. Not a word!"
Li Wei returned the hug, "Mhm… don't worry, I will return soon enough."
Vartys closed her eyes and hugged Li Wei even harder, "Yeah… I will wait, no matter how long it takes."
After a few minutes of staying in a hug, Riya pulled back and smiled, "I am going now…"
"See you, my dear sister."
Li Wei hastily nodded turned around and ran into the forest. Vartys watched Li Wei right until she disappeared and when she did, she turned in the direction of the elf village, clenched her fists and blood trailed from her palms, "Zier! How dare you! I thought I could leave Riya to you! You dare to bully her?!!"
…
Walking for another 5 minutes Li Wei stopped and pulled out her katana, "If Zier went to search for me, she will bump into Vartys. Those two problems are now solved that is unless Vartys believes Zier…" she chuckled, shook her head and her thoughts continued, "If that happens, it happens… I can now increase my katana skill level in peace, after that, I will have 3 paths open for me. My first and safest path, join adventurer's guild, not enslave any monsters, level up, kill the heroes and start my world domination. My second and riskiest plan, start enslaving monsters and start building my monster army, with increasing monster army the risk increases. The third plan, initially extremely risky but afterwards as safe as the first plan. Enslave a monster, walk with the monster into the guild and join the guild. If I am not put down at that point then I will be safe. All paths are viable but which one is the best one…"

Li Wei slashed down with the katana.
Time passed. The sun had disappeared and the moon had risen; her stomach grumbled; the katana went down with a vertical slash; a notification flashed.
Li Wei sheathed the katana, touched her stomach with her right hand, rubbing it, "I am hungry," she thought; then looked around and raised her eyebrow in surprise as she could see everything clearly just as though it was the day and not the night. As she was looking around, she saw a flickering light in the distance.
"Hmm? What's that? A light? A campfire? Let's take a look," she thought and walked to the flickering light. Reaching the campsite, she hid behind a tree and peeked into the campsite. She saw an animal, a short man and a tall man. The two men were eating from wooden bowls with wooden spoons while the animal was eating directly out of a bowl.
Li Wei frowned, seeing their: names and levels.
Ni Shiuri had blonde hair, was tall, had blue eyes and wore full plate armour covering everything except for his head, he had a huge shield a sword on his back.
Bhazout Grayhelm was short, had green eyes and wore full leather armour, like Ni Shiuri, it covered everything except his head, he had a crossbow on his back and by his side laid a big bear that was as big as him.
Bergo was a big and brown bear with green eyes.
"A human, a dwarf and a bear? The human's class is hero, is he an actual hero or is it just a class?" Li Wei thought, shook her head and prepared to walk away but her stomach grumbled.
Ni Shiuri jumped up, dropping the bowl onto the ground and spilling the food on the ground. "Who is there?!" he shouted, pulled out his sword and his shield.
Bazout Grayhelm looked at his companion, "What's wrong, brother?"
"I heard something, grab your gun."
Li Wei shook her head and walked out into the open, "What are you doing in our forest"
Bazout Grayhelm burst into laughter, "An Elf! An Elf! We are near brother! We are near!" The bear looked up from his food and when he saw Li Wei, he ran up to her and let out a low growl.
The dwarf blinked his eyes, "Bergo likes her…"
Ni Shiuri nodded and sheathed his weapons, "My apologies, I hope we are not breaking any rules by camping here."
"Not that I know any elf rules," Li Wei thought and said, "You will be forgiven if you give me some of your food."
"So we did break some kind of rule?" The hero asked.
Li Wei's stomach grumbled and she walked up to the camp and sat down, "Will you give me some of your food?" The bear walked to his bowl, dragged it to Li Wei's side and sat down by the bowl. The hero and his companion stared at this wide eyes.
After a few seconds, Bazout Grayhelm recovered from his surprise and he nodded excitedly, "Of course we will." He grabbed one of the bags that laid beside the campfire and pulled out a wooden bowl and a wooden spoon. He grabbed the saddle; poured in the stew that was cooking over the flame and passed the bowl, "Here you go, beautiful elf!"
Li Wei smiled and took the bowl, "Thank you"
Ni Shiuri picked up the bowl from the ground and sighed, "Grayhelm can you give me another bowl and a spoon?"
The dwarf nodded, "Sure thing friend," he retrieved another wooden bowl with a spoon, filled in the bowl with the stew and passed it to the human. Ni Shiuri accepted, ate a spoonful and turned his head to Li Wei, "Miss elf, may I know your name?"
