《PERCEPTION (A New Begining)》94. Repeat, Repeat, Repeat

What am I, fucking stupid? Of course, it would rip through his neck from a point-blank range! Damnit, well it's too late now, he's bleeding like crazy.
"I actually didn't mean to do that, sorry." Pushing him to the side I avoid squirting blood as much as is possible. He falls to the ground holding his throat and reaching out to me. Is he... He's crying. His hand hits the floor only a moment later, he didn't even have enough time to fully shed a tear.
Just because I didn't mean to do it doesn't mean I'll feel bad for someone who's been helping keep me prisoner. Poking my head around the corner I see no one is there. Were there really only two guys guarding this place? That's a bit inconsiderate if you ask me, better go check on Carnie.
As I approached the room her voice startled me, "FUCK, where is it?" Sprinting to the control room I'm greeted with a sight. Three men in total. One was being held by his throat while being question by her, another, his arms missing and bent over a table, the last seemed to have his Achilles tendon cut on both his legs and was attempting to crawl away. Though Carnie was holding a man in one arm that didn't stop her from eating, her other arm held one of the severed arms, half-eaten already.
Instinctively I leap back and ready myself. Fuck, is she about to go primal again, I knew I shouldn't have gone with her!
"Calm down pussy, I'm making sure to keep full so it won't be a problem. You'll be safe as long as I don't have to heal a major wound or something. -- Now, back to what I was saying, where is it?" She had spoken to me, but without taking her eyes off the terrified man in front of her.

"We don't have a master key, our system runs with pins, I swear!"
"Useless mother fucker! Where do I find the pins then?"
"We're supposed to just remember them, but, we scratched them into the wall, over there."
Carnie sneers at them man before dropping him to the floor, relief washes over his face in proportion to her distance to him. Carnie approaches the wall he had pointed to, "Where the fuck is it?"
"It-it's behind the cabinet, we had to hide it in case the Warden saw."
That doesn't make sense, the system is almost bulletproof if they only had the pins in their memories. Writing them down jeopardizes the whole system, good.
Carnie grabs the side of the cabinet and throws it. It lands on the man that had been slowly crawling away trying to remain unnoticed. His screams of pain go completely ignored.
"I need a pen and some paper."
"W-we don't have any here."
"What?! How the fuck am I supposed to use all of this then? There are at least thirty pins here!" Carnie detaches the mostly exposed humerus from the severed arm, throwing at the man and knocking him out. She then finishes off the rest of the arm in a matter of seconds before turning to me, blood coving her face. "You got any bright ideas?"
"Bright, no, but I have one. I think I might be able to remember it all."
"You serious, do you see how many numbers there are? It's not just a four-pin combination for each either. Some have four but others have up to eight!"
"Trust me, I'm pretty sure I can, it might take a second though."
"Hmph, if you say so, try your little memory trick. I'll be ripping out of the wall after you memorize it."

If she does that it's probably just going to crumble. Carnie is strong but she isn't strong enough to remove a specific section out of a concrete wall without damaging it. All the more reason this has to work, god this is going to be boring though.
Walking to the wall I begin to examine the numbers while I hear the sounds of flesh tearing and bones breaking behind me. Without looking I turned my head slightly in the direction of the sound.
"What, I might as well eat something while you're just standing there."
I guess silence is too much to ask for, alright let's begin. Turning oh m perception to almost max I stare at the numbers.
5932.
458623.
9827...
Repetition, you can remember anything with enough repetition. It's just like studying for a test at school, I don't have to remember this shit forever, only a day at most.
Alright, I think I've got it.
"INTRUDER ALERT!!! INTRUDER ALERT!!!" an automated voice rang out while yellow lights painted the hallways.
"I've got it!"
"MOVE!"
Stepping to the side I watched as Carnie stabbed her hand into the concrete of the wall, attempting to cut out the section. I saw a few of her fingers break on impact with the wall but it didn't phase her. Once getting her hand where she wanted she did the same with her other hand on the opposite side of the writing.
"Come on, move you bitch!" Carnie leaned back putting what little weight she possessed into her pull. It didn't take long before cracks crawled across the section of the wall between her arms. The web of cracks proved my earlier assumption. "Dammit!!!" Carnie slammed her head into the wall after seeing that the section she had intended to keep intact was now about to shatter into dozens of pieces. She looked over to me, "You better have it remembered." She said nothing else before walking out of the command room.
"Carnie, slow down. Should we be worried about the intruder?"
"Worried? HA, if someone broke into this place that means they made a way out for us. Don't tell me you're getting cold feet just because someone broke in?"
"No, we've already done too much for me to back out now, however, we need to stop by my cell before we do anything else."
"And why would we need to do that?"
"I have something I need to grab, it might come in handy."
"We don't have time for you to grab a stuffed animal, or whatever it is."
Does she not realize the situation she's in? "Well, the way I see it we have time for whatever I need to do considering I'm the one with the codes."
Carnie stopped walking, turning slowly to me, "What the fuck did you just say?"
"I'm just pointing out the obvious, I'm the one in control here. It's not like I'm asking for much."
Barely letting me finish my sentence Carnie leaped towards me, grabbing me by my shirt and slamming me up against the wall.
"Don't you fucking act like you're the one in charge. This is My plan, you are not going to fuck this up for ME!"
Damit if I hadn't just used so much of my energy I wouldn't have even let her touch me. "Carnie, listen to me. I kinda have a weapon in my cell. I might need it if something happens."
"What do you mean, kinda?"

Disclaimer: This story is about a modern man ill-equipped for his time in ancient India. The story delves into the realm of believability instead of wish fulfilment, with a healthy dose of supernatural elements, so no, overpowered MC. The picture is of a placeholder and does not belong to me. If I become rich or the readers donate to it, I would replace the picture. Author note: If you find errors, let me know.
