《PERCEPTION (A New Begining)》54. Me, Red's-self, and Carnie

Speed-walking through the halls I make my way to my cell.
I don't know who that bitch is but she seems like bad news. Plus, if I'm honest, she's just scary. It was something about the way she looked at me.
That and if she's involved with Red that will only cause more trouble for me, but I can't help but wonder if she was serious. Does she really think she can break out of here? The way she spoke about it was as if it's inevitable that she'll escape, and she just wanted me to speed up the process.
And what was that about eating people! She must have just been fucking with me.
A sharp pain emerges from the side of my neck. I leap forward while spinning around to see what's behind me.
"Geez, calm down pussy."
It's her! What, I thought Red had her?
"But... Red?"
"What, you thought just because Red's strong I wouldn't be able to get away from her? Men, so simple. Strength isn't everything."
Though she's talking to me I can hardly focus on what she is saying. There's a little bit of blood on her index fingernail, my blood. She isn't even looking at me as she speaks, her eyes are fixed on the blood. After finishing her sentence she puts the finger in her mouth while closing her eyes.
What the fuck is happening right now? Am I going to have to fight this bitch?
"I don't get to taste AB-negative often!" Opening her eyes she gives me an expressionless look, " Calm down, I can hear your heart rate from here. I just wanted a taste, that's awwll."
As she speaks she tilts her head down and looks up at me, giving me her best puppy-dog eyes. A second later the cute demeanor falls away, making it quite clear it was just an act, she doesn't even attempt to hide it.

"I think Red will get mad at me if I play with you too much, so bye. Oh, and give some thought to my proposal, I might be able to help you get that information you're looking for."
She turns on her heel, taking off down the hall, her bare feet not making the slightest of sounds. Her speed is incredible, she might even be as fast as Trevor was, but unlike him, her movements have grace and sleekness to them. Just as she rounds the corner I notice something.
Why is the entire back of her shirt ripped off?
From her neck down to her pants, her entire back was exposed.
More importantly, how didn't I hear her come up behind me? The only evidence that she was ever here is the small bead of blood on my neck, it's just as impressive as it is scary--WHAT THE FUCK!
Not long after she had disappeared around the corner, Carnie's small body shot back in my view like a cannon. Watching her with time slowed I could see her face as she flew, she was smirking.
She smashed into the wall with her arm bending at an unnatural angle behind her back. She sat against the wall, shaking her head as if to say 'You got me!' Her right arm was obviously broken, if she hadn't stuck it out behind her to cushion the impact it might not have been. She stood up with her arm flopping around as she did.
"Calm down girl, it's only a scratch... or two!"
A second later I saw a half-naked Red stepped from behind the corner, a large chunk of cloth in her right hand. Her top was shredded so evenly in the front it looked done on purpose. Every inch down there was a horizontal slash across the shirt. The only exception was on her chest, the horizontal cuts narrowed slightly leaving just enough cloth to keep the girls covered, even if just barely. Her ripped-off shorts had diagonal slashes all the way up her leg, stopping just before her large glutes, accentuating their shape. There were visible bite mark tears in the cloth on her ass. Though her clothes were in tatters the skin underneath looked smooth... AND untouched, but that didn't stop the veins from popping out of her neck as she strutted towards Carnie.

As Carnie spoke, her arm that was bent unnaturally, moved unnaturally back to its place. The sound of the bones and joints moving was disgustingly loud.
"Whoa there Red, I wouldn't move so fast... unless you want to flash this guy?" Carnie pointed at me and Red followed her finger. The second Red saw me her eyes went wide.
No one moved for a whole second. Carnie was staring at Red with a mischievous grin, Red was staring at me with her face void of color, and I was staring at Red's...
Thinking back to the events of a couple days prior, I lay in my bed.
I can't believe I made it out of there alive, even after seeing that. I wonder if any other man has seen what I've seen, and survived.
Time was crawling forward when I heard a knock at my door. I shoot up and make my way over to the door as the sound of the announcement for meal time rings out. He always times it perfectly.
Opening the door I'm greeted by Wayne who had a brace on both his left arm and leg. The brace looks like it bends in the middle on both so he should still have, albeit limited, range of motion on his left side. Averting my gaze from his left side I look him in the eyes. The smile on my face fell still.
He looks... mad. Why?
He reaches out to grab my shirt and I let him. Pinning me against the door frame with his right arm, he almost falls over from his own movement. Sticking my arm out I steady him.
"I know what you did, you tried to kill him!"
Why does no one ever understand! It was the same with the cops, and Ma. "So what if I had killed him! He deserved it for what he did to you! You think one death will change anything? He wouldn't have been the first, I've killed more people than I can count!"
"SO HAVE I!... So have I. I don't care that you've killed people or that you might in the future. I have no right to judge anyone after what I've done, the number of lives I've taken, but this isn't about you! It's about me! You could kill people for the rest of your life and never come close to how many lives I've taken. Do you understand, not another life can be lost because of me! Whether right or wrong, for me or because of me, I can't... I can't have any more blood on my hands."
"..."
Wayne lets go of my shirt, falling back slightly and leaning up against the other side of the door frame, "You have to promise me. Even if I might die because of it! You will never kill anyone because of me."
He leans up off the door frame, staring intently at me.
"Fine, it's not like I would care if you died anyway."
He leans forward, "Thanks, friend!" His smile, it's so genuine. Stop fucking looking at me like that!
"So, um, what do you know about a little girl who calls herself Carnie?"
"What did you do?"
