《The Strength of Duality (Newly Edited)》Anomaly

No strong Demonic beast would appear here normally.
There was one anomaly though.
A single bear.
A very large bear with red flaming stripes on its back and claws that looked extremely sharp and dangerous. Its huge maws were dripping with blood from its last meal.
A second ago, the bear was at the stream, where Yun Tian was cutting out the dantians, inspecting and sniffing around the area, but now it felt the qi of the world being drawn in very rapidly by something and rushed to investigate.
The bear ran full speed with all its might. It didn’t bother to go around any of the trees in its path, instead it went right through them leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. As it went through the forest it almost resembled a tank with its large body and red stripes, but no tank could go as fast as it or so easily knock down that many large trees.
The stream wasn’t too far from their camp and the bear's disturbance was very loud, especially the sound of the trees falling.
The wolves were instantly alerted and Bolin barked at Jin before running off with everyone, except for Jin, in the direction of the sounds they heard. Bolin ordered Jin to stay here while they went to take care of the thing coming towards them. They couldn’t leave Shen Yu and Yun Tian alone after all, however they could tell whatever was coming was quite strong. They needed all the strength they could muster. So, that was the only thing they could do.
The wolves left while Shen Yu gaze trailed after them with a concerned light within.
As the last fighting force there, Jin became alert as he stuck close to Shen Yu and Yun Tian constantly monitoring their surroundings. They were in a fairly large clearing so he would be able to see if something was coming at them no problem.

The wolf’s eyes were also filled with worry. He could tell the strength of the thing coming better than Shen Yu and wanted to go support the others, but he also knew he had to protect Yun Tian just in case something else came. He felt extreme pressure and anxiety even though it was him who stayed while the others went to fight.
As for Yun Tian, he was completely unaware of everything around as he was completely focused on his breakthrough. Putting his all into absorbing all the energy he could into his dantian.
The qi around him gushed into him and he swallowed pill after pill.
Bolin and the others rushed very quickly and met up with the thing coming towards Yun Tian.
The wolf’s expressions all turned grim when they realized the strength of the bear they saw coming towards them. Peak stage demonic beast realm.
When they worked together they were able to handle a late stage demonic beast, but a peak stage demonic beast was just out of their league.
They knew they stood no chance at defeating it.
But none of them even thought about turning around and running or anything like that. Resolve filled their eyes as they kept on moving towards it. They didn’t even hope to defeat it. They only wanted to stall it.
Bolin didn’t need to tell the others anything as they instinctively moved together with the same thoughts in mind.
The bear also noticed them, but it only released a roar without stopping as if it was saying: “Get out of my way ants.”
None of the wolves were scared though after already bracing themselves for what was about to come.
Bolin responded to the roar with a howl of his own while the others joined in. They were saying: “We will not let you pass us.”

The bear was angered at such weak beasts not listening to it and even getting its way, but it didn’t pay attention to them after its roar since it only cared about the thing it was headed towards. It didn’t want to delay at all.
Bolin noticed that it wasn’t paying attention to them and barked a command at the wolves. They heard his command and followed after him as he started moving. They all charged at the bear.
The bear was very fast as a peak stage demonic beast. Especially as he went through instead of around the many trees, but the wolves were also very fast.
The wolves split up and went different ways. Bolin and Zan got behind it and charged at its back legs while Zhi and Qing jumped at its back from the sides. None of them went anywhere near its threatening jaws.
Zhi and Qing successfully made it onto its back, while Bolin and Zan got close to its back legs. All four of them went for it at the same time in order to make the most of the situation while it wasn’t paying attention to them.
Holding on tightly with their claws and jaws, they attempted to do as much damage as possible tearing into it with whatever they could.
If they wanted to get its attention and distract it, they would have to either scare it or make it angry, that was the only way. Otherwise it would simply ignore them. And the best way to do either one of those was to injure it.
They were able to get so close so easily as the bear had been paying almost no attention to them after its first roar. So, they were able to get close to it relatively easily and it didn’t even care when they jumped on it or grabbed onto it. It felt they could do little damage anyway.
So, when the bear felt its flesh actually being torn off, it was extremely angered and surprised. The wolves' strengths had slowly grown to greatly outclass beasts of the same stage with the great amount of resources they used.
Especially Bolin, the amount of damage he did to the bear's back left leg was immense and he almost made it to the tendon, but when the bear felt the pain its response was quick as it immediately rolled to its side hoping to either throw the wolves off or make them let go on their own.
