Yun Tian’s action though made the guards and the two newcomers float weird expressions. Although, they didn’t comment about it as they merely continued to inspect his group.

Still, they were thinking things like, ‘They are quite bold.’

Aside from Shen Yu, Yun Tian wasn’t too worried about the wolves' safety. After all, they weren’t sitting ducks and he was sure they could at least preserve their own safety if a fight immediately broke out.

He became wary when he realized there were two peak dantian building experts, but at the same time he also became excited.

The wolves also became alert. Bolin especially felt pressured at the appearance of two powerful possible enemies. As the strongest among the wolves, he felt that he should take the greatest burden in battles. If something were to happen, he felt he would help with one of them.

As for the two who arrived, they were surprised to see Yun Tian's group, but they didn't interact immediately with them as they saw the guard next to Yun Tian.

They became confused since there was an alarm and the man barked at the guard, "What is going on?"

He explained everything that happened concisely without adding any of his own opinions and didn’t say anything after that, letting the two of them gauge the situation themselves. Their judgement would definitely be better than his.

The man noticed he had nothing else to say and dismissed him saying: “You can leave now.”

The guard replied, “Yes,” and respectfully bowed to the two experts and Yun Tian before leaving.

After the two of them inspected Yun Tian’s group, the woman was the first to speak, saying, “Little brother, you seem like a man with great abilities, why don’t you come over to my clan and we will entertain you?”

The man snorted after hearing that and said, “Mu Wen, didn’t you hear? He came here for pills not to be seduced. Besides, how can you compare your appearance with the girl already in his arms?”

Hearing this, Mu Wen’s originally genial smile crumpled for a moment before returning to normal. At the same time, Shen Yu in Yun Tian’s arms had her face redden. Yun Tian also immediately decided which of the two he liked better.

Mu Wen retorted, “Well, What do you think little brother?”

At this, Yun Tian’s gaze sharpened. The man’s words seemed normal, but they also included other meanings such as probing him out. If he couldn’t even take something out to trade for them, then they wouldn’t take him seriously at all. But taking something valuable out would also show them he had it, which meant if he wasn’t strong enough they could rob it.

They could both feel a faint sensation of danger from him, but they couldn’t tell just how strong he was. And, they were certain the wolves were just mid stage demonic beasts. So, the only reason they would take his group seriously was if they saw proof of Yun Tian’s strength and a good item could somewhat prove it.

Yun Tian, took out a late stage core with one hand while holding Shen Yu with the other and asked almost sarcastically, “Will this suffice?”

Both of the two opposite him had their eyes brighten and they also both felt their guards raise. While they couldn’t tell whether Yun Tian had gotten that core himself or not, he at least felt confident in even taking it out in front of them.

So, they didn’t plan on underestimating him.

In fact, the man introduced himself saying: “My name is Gu Jie. May I ask what your name is, fellow?”

He even addressed him as ‘fellow’ showing that he placed great belief in his strength, regarding him as an equal.

As for Mu Wen, Gu Jie had already spoken her name.

Yun Tian said, “My name is Yun Tian. Besides that, do either of you have any pills you would like to trade?”

Gu Jie, replied, “I don’t have any and I’m pretty sure she doesn’t either.”

As he said that, Mu Wen confirmed, “I do not.”

Gu Jie, continued, “Though I am sure there are some if we head over to the Spirit Market.”

Other experts started arriving in waves at this moment, either from the gates or over the wall. They all arrived in a flurry with their guards up, only to calm down when they saw the situation.

There were old men and women dantian building experts. In fact there were many more strong women dantian building experts than Yun Tian had ever seen. Most of them gathered together near Mu Wen so he figured they must be with her. He was surprised by this, but did not think too much of it.
