The response the old man’s words got was a cold stare. For a few moments the old man could only sweat bullets as he waited to see what Yun Tian would do.

In the end, Yun Tian ended the tense atmosphere as he reached out and took the bottle saying, “We will be leaving then.”

At the same time his killing intent completely withdrew. Everyone around no longer felt like their demise was around the corner and they once more could freely and deeply breathe as if they had just gained a new lease on life. Their tightened expressions relaxed, but they still kept their full attention on the young man responsible for scaring them so much.

Yun Tian’s reasoning for this decision was simple. One, the man hadn’t done anything especially worth killing over. Then, there was the force behind him to consider. Also, everyone around was innocent and they would inevitably be forced to intervene if he attempted anything.

As for what Yun Tian did so far, he had not really even hurt anyone. All he did was show his anger. It was the old man who hurt the man from Spirit Market.

In the end, he did not even have to spend anything and got multiple high grade qi gathering pills. He was actually quite happy right now. These were what he needed right now after all. Even if he did loot everything these people had, he doubted much of it would be of any help to him.

That includes the old man. He could tell the old man was similar to the Yun clan’s late Grand Elder. Both barely ascending into their realms after many, many years, but still being much weaker than others in the same realm with their lives being close to their ends. So, he knew he must have little good stuff on him.

Yun Tian said to the old man, “We will continue north if you don’t mind.”

The old man hurriedly nodded his head saying, “Yes, Yes! This way, please.”

With that the large crowd walked north through town leaving behind the disheveled man from Spirit Market lying there passed out.

No more incidents happened and Yun Tian’s group soon made it to the exit of town under the escort of the experts. With a strained smile the old man saw them off. Once they were out of sight, only then could they all breathe a sigh of relief as they had finally made it through this ordeal. Even though the matter of pills ended well, just his presence there was draining on them.

As for Yun Tian, Shen Yu, and the wolves they once more continued their journey just like they did before arriving at the town.

They reached another town five days later. As they approached, Yun Tian contemplated having the wolves go around and wait for them.

In the end, he decided to just have them follow him in. His reason for going into town was to buy high grade qi gathering pills which would inevitably force him to show his strength. Therefore, causing the experts in town to be wary of him.

Since it would happen either way, he might as well keep the wolves with him. Shen Yu also agreed with him when he asked for her opinion. She said it was better to stick together.

Deep down she only thought and didn’t dare to say, ‘They can also help protect you if something goes wrong.’

Although if something he couldn’t handle happened the wolves could do little, Shen Yu wanted to do all she could to do all she could to make him safer even by a little.

So, they sauntered up to the town gate without being afraid at all. After all, they all trusted Yun Tian’s strength. He still did not have as many high grade qi gathering pills as he wanted so he didn’t break through yet. So that part of his strength didn’t change much.

But while he couldn’t make much progress with his dantain, all of his focus was on his demonic core and it naturally increased the amount of time he spent on it.

Thus, allowing him to vividly feel as his body strengthened day by day. It was getting to the point where he wondered how much of a threat peak dantian building experts could even be to him anymore.

Still, as they walked up to the gates, just like the last town the guards standing there took out a horn and blew it creating a loud sound that spread throughout the town.

The guards became tense and tightly held their weapons as they blocked the way into town.

He knew the experts were coming and didn’t even bother talking with the guards. Instead, he, Shen Yu, and the wolves just stood there around forty feet from the gate as they waited.

It didn’t take long before someone showed up. Like always, the strongest expert sped ahead and the first to appear was a slightly older middle aged man in brown robes with a white bird symbol on the robe’s chest area.

When he appeared immediately surprise and curiosity appeared in his eyes as he spotted the weird group of a handsome young man, cute girl, and several ferocious looking wolves standing not far from town.

He saw that they didn’t come closer and didn’t appear to have any bad intentions. Although he couldn’t tell Yun Tian’s great strength, he had a vague feeling he was quite strong. So, he saw no reason to get on his bad side as Yun Tian showed no bad intentions and asked while saluting, “Hello young friend. Might I ask what purpose your group has in visiting our small town?”

Yun Tian was happy to see that the strongest expert in town at least appeared to be friendly and returned the salute while saying, “Greetings fellow. We actually are only here for a small matter and then we will quickly leave. We will cause no trouble at all.”
