It made most of them want to run away, but they somehow held on besides taking a few steps backwards.

Yun Tian looked at the still nervous man lying on his back as he propped himself up and said, “I would have indeed taken it as an apology and moved on if you were sincere, but you still aren’t.”

Although he didn’t release his killing intent in full force once more, everyone was still deeply frightened by his words.

The old man was more confused than anything, but as he saw where Yun Tian was looking, he suddenly realized something and turned around to look at the man who was now trying to get up and turn to run.

Faster than the man from Spirit Market could react, the old man leaped forward and grabbed him. He dragged him over and asked coldly with extreme anger evident on his face, “You handed over all your high grade qi gathering pills, right?”

The man’s scared but reluctant eyes met the old man’s eyes staring daggers and hesitantly took out another bottle from within his robe.

Inside were three more pills. The old man became even angrier as he took them and coldly asked, enunciating each word extremely slowly and carefully, “Is that all of them?”

The man hurriedly nodded his head yes.

Seeing the bottle and judging he wasn’t lying, the old man coldly threw him down onto the ground.

Afterwards, he didn’t turn around immediately as he then lifted up his leg and brought it down with great force on the man’s leg causing him to scream out in extreme pain. Then, he slapped the man so hard he lost many teeth and was knocked out.

Seeing all of this, Yun Tian was inwardly complementing the old man.

‘By punishing him, he must be thinking it would lower my anger while also making me not want to harm him instead. In a way what he did could have saved the man’s life if I did intend on killing him.’

He didn't say any of this though and just kept up his cold exterior.

The old man turned and presented the bottle of pills saying: “I am sorry. As you can see, everything was done by this man alone and none of us. I have already punished him and will take further measures in the future to punish him. So, I ask you to not hold this against us.”
