《The Strength of Duality (Newly Edited)》Long Training Period

Yun Tian had read about cultivation novels back on Earth where the main character took more resources when cultivating because they were building a strong foundation for their cultivation base. He thought his situation had to be similar. After all, his situation was quite special compared to other cultivators in this world.
So, he just continued swallowing the pills without caring how many he was using. If he needed more, he could get more.
He just finished going through half of the pills. Combining the time from this morning and now, it took him around seven hours to go through half of the pills. He also knew that it wouldn't take him as long to go through the rest.
He stopped at this moment though and decided to start with his demonic core now. Bolin came over at this moment though and looked at him. He took out another corpse and core to give him, but the wolf shook its head.
In response Yun Tian asked, “Mid stage demonic beast corpse?”
Bolin nodded his head. Yun Tian followed what he wanted and gave the wolf a mid stage corpse with another early stage core, but he also advised, “Remember to take it slow and don’t bite off more than you can chew.”
He laughed and said, “I mean that literally.”
At Yun Tian’s advice the wolf nodded its head and went back to cultivating once again. Yun Tian knew that Bolin was stronger than the other wolves, but he still worried so he didn’t start cultivating immediately and instead watched as the wolf ate the corpse.
Bolin wasn’t reckless especially after Yun Tian had advised him.
Yun Tian had given him the corpse of the panther they killed earlier. He used his teeth and bit off a piece at the end of the panther’s tail. He swallowed it and a large amount of energy surged through the wolf. He was forced to brace himself to absorb the energy throughout his body and refine it with his demonic core.

While the panther did not have as good of a defence as other demonic beasts, it was fast and deadly in its attacks. It was just limited through them ganging up on it before. It was still a strong demonic beast and its body contained a large amount of demonic qi.
Yun Tian watched on and saw that he was fine. He breathed in relief that the wolf took his advice and was going slowly. Before returning to his own cultivation, he took out early stage corpses with cores in them and threw them to each of the wolves besides Bolin. While he might be ready for a mid stage corpse, the others were not.
Then, Yun Tian sat back down and started cultivating his demonic core.
A few hours later, Shen Yu came over and laid next to him to go to sleep.
He smiled while he was still cultivating and stopped for a moment to take a break.
He said, “Goodnight Shen Yu.”
She replied just the same to him. “Good night Tian.”
He rested his mind while enjoying the moment with Shen Yu next to him. He laid back and Shen Yu noticed this so she came closer and held onto him.
Yun Tian smirked and looked at the stars in the sky. It had been somewhat of a habit for him to look at the beautiful stars in the sky at night. He rested for a few minutes while Shen Yu had already fallen asleep.
Then, he began cultivating once more.
They stayed there cultivating, hunting, and occasionally training skills for three weeks.
His dantian slowly grew closer to becoming full once more with the same happening to his demonic core. It was just that the pace of his demonic core was slower.
He had already used up all the low grade qi gathering pills long ago and had switched to mid grade qi gathering pills. The cultivation of his dantian, that had slowed down while only swallowing low grade qi gathering pills, sped up once more when this happened.

Right now his dantian was already a little over nine tenths full. His stash of pills was already close to running out though. He could use demonic cores, but he would rather use those for his demonic core.
As for his demonic core it was around eight tenths full. He had stopped using early stage demonic cores and was only using mid stage ones now. Even though he could use early stage ones, mid stage ones helped much more. The qi within was much higher quality and saved him a lot of time when cultivating. It was much more efficient and he valued efficiency more after hunting so many beasts and gaining large amounts of demonic cores.
His strength increased greatly. His qi was full of vigor and his body had been greatly strengthened.
Right now though, he was currently flashing through the forest like a beast made of lightning. He was training one of his new skills, Wolf’s Lightning.
During the three weeks, he spent a large amount of time training his skills. He knew that he would go through the qi gathering pills before too long passed right from the beginning. So, he started to put more emphasis on his skills and demonic core.
As was training his skills throughout the time spent there, he put basically all of his focus on the two mid spirit grade skills he had gotten along with the improved Deadly Flash skill he had created.
He decided to learn the two mid spirit grade skills to gain even more insight before once more focusing on his main skill, deadly flash.
He decided to learn the skill titled Wolf’s Lightning first. He decided to go with this one first so that he could learn Warrior’s Sword afterward and wholly focus on his sword skills at that time.
When he first read through Wolf’s Lightning, he thought, ‘This skill is truly much better than the original fleeting steps. I have already pushed Fleeting Steps far past the original though. I wonder which one of these skills is better in the end?’
