The Elder’s attempt to defend himself didn’t go very well as Yun Tian crashed into him and once again sent him flying away. He coughed blood once more during the clash.

Yun sent him flying away from Chen Long behind him. He had a plan and that was to finish off this Elder. If he kept knocking him away from him in one direction and used his speed, what could he do. As for the weaker Elders he didn’t even bother to worry since his speed just outclassed them that much.

He followed his plan and it worked just like he wanted. He did slow down slightly during the clash and he had to put extra effort into making sure Shen Yu wasn’t affected, but as soon as he could he sped off once again in chase of the Elder.

Chen Long reached where they clashed right after he sped off again, but he was just too slow. He kept on going, but while he was chasing Yun Tian clashed with the Elder once again.

No matter what the Elder did, he still coughed out blood and was flung away destroying several buildings, whether they were houses or shops. Luckily everyone had poured out into the streets when they heard the commotion and avoided getting hurt.

Once again Chen Long was a little too slow to catch up to Yun Tian and the distance between Chen Long and Yun Tian only increased.

Their chase of Yun Tian trying to kill the Elder while Chen Long was after him continued for a while with the Elder weakening each clash.

Finally he could not take it. After their fifth clash, Yun Tian managed to use his extreme speed and cut the Elder’s head off since he could not block in time. He was heavily injured the first time he connected blades with Yun Tian and his wounds only increased in number and severity each time they clashed.

He tried his best using his qi to support himself, but in the end he could not keep up and while he was too slowed down by his injuries, Yun Tian managed to combine the speed of the fleeting steps movement skill and deadly flash to kill him in one slash. His qi barrier didn’t stand a chance whatsoever.

At this Chen Long who had been chasing all this time yelled and cursed “I’ll kill you! You’ll pay for killing my Elders!”

He was frightened by Yun Tian, but he thought that Yun Tian had to be running low on his qi reserves by now. He wanted to try and kill him now. He couldn’t let Yun Tian get away to come back and kill him in the future.

His thoughts were somewhat true as Yun Tian had used a significant amount of his qi from both his dantian and demonic core. He only had around forty percent of it left. He had just broken through to the mid danitan building and demonic core equivalent after all.

He felt that it was enough to kill Chen Long though.

Chen Long was still some distance away, but he was going to cross that distance quickly so Yun Tian put away the Elder’s whole corpse together with his sword into his spatial bag.

Then, he stood there, still holding Shen Yu, without any fear on his face.

In fact, he was even calm enough to whisper to her “I took care of the guy who tried to harm you earlier. There’s just one left. He’s not a threat so you don’t have to worry.”

Shen Yu just looked up at Yun Tian who even in this situation was trying to reassure her. An enemy was about to attack them, but even then he bore it all alone. Killing their enemies all by himself. She wanted to laugh at how nonsensical he was and also loved this caring nature of his.

At the same time she was sad. While she didn’t know if Yun Tian hated killing people, she didn’t like seeing him being forced to kill people. It wasn’t that she hated killing people, but she hated that Yun Tian was the one forced to do it. She would much rather be able to take that burden from him.

She didn’t say any of her thoughts out loud. Instead, she just said “I knew you would be fine, but still don’t let your guard down.”

Chen Long closing in on them had noticed that Yun Tian had no plans of running and he had a bad feeling well up within him. He had a cut along his waist and his qi was massively drained, so his condition was nowhere near good. Even if he was in perfect condition it was already proven he wasn’t Yun Tian’s opponent.

He had underestimated Yun Tian thinking he would be completely exhausted, but seeing Yun Tian’s cold stare sent shivers down his spine. Instead of continuing his attack towards Yun Tian, he turned and tried to sprint away.

At this point though, he was already quite close to Yun Tian.

There was no way Yun Tian would let him get away, let alone the fact that Yun Tian was faster than him.

As soon as Chen Long tried to flee he sped after him with the fleeting steps skill.

He had Shen Yu in his grasp and swung his sword at Chen Long who he had already reached in just a few moments. He was in the middle of performing the attack to try and kill him, when suddenly he felt someone charging toward them.

That person obviously wasn’t there to kill Chen Long since Yun Tian was already about to do that. That meant they were either trying to kill Yun Tian or save Chen Long. Either way, that meant they were Yun Tian’s enemies.

He knew they were not from the Chen clan since they had left those Elders far behind and the strength he felt from this person was even greater than Chen Long at his peak. This person was a peak dantian building expert.
