By now the scene down the stairs was no longer unfamiliar to him and instead he thought ‘I have not seen them do anything besides cook or wait for food to be done yet.’

He laughed a little at that and seeing Yun Tian smiling while laughing at the bottom of the stairs Wu Chen asked him “What’s so funny?”

Yun Tian responded thought for a moment and said something he truly felt from the bottom of the heart “You have such a wonderful family and I’m sure everyone would wish for the same that you three have. Besides that though, I was thinking about how I have only seen you guys either before or after a meal so far.”

Hearing his first sentence Wu Chen and Ming Yu were touched. By his side Shen Yu instead felt said since she knew what he was talking about.

His next sentence though made everyone laugh since what he said was true.

Wu Chen responded “Yeah that’s true. I still have to work today, but I am free tomorrow. How about this, tomorrow all of us go on a walk around town and we can introduce some of the places around here to you guys.”

At first Yun Tian wanted to turn it down since he would rather cultivate, but then he saw how Shen Yu’s face brightened hearing what he said.

Instead he said “Alright I will go. How about you Yu?”

Shen Yu nodded and said “Sounds like fun.”

Yun Tian patted her head and said “Alright then it’s settled. Are you going to help with breakfast?”

Shen Yu realized that she indeed was not helping Ming Yu to make their breakfast and said “Sorry for not helping Auntie.”

Ming Yu Said “It’s fine. You really don’t need to help.”

Shen Yu was firm in her words saying “I like to help though.”

In her head she thought ‘I am the one who makes Yun Tian food.’

With that she walked over to her and started to help her.

Yun Tian walked over to the table and waited for the food to be done. He talked to Wu Chen and asked if there was anymore news about the wolves.

Wu Chen said back to him “Nothing important has really happened except for no one leaving town so far and there still being a high amount of wolves further away from town.”

Hearing this Yun Tian thought ‘This could be troublesome if I want to leave town. I bet I could sneak out of town with Shen Yu easily, but the hard part would be getting far away from town without being noticed by the wolves.’

‘I will deal with this later. No need to think about it right now, besides they might leave some time soon too.’

After this, he continued to talk with Wu Chen and interact with his daughter who asked him a lot of things.

While they had talked previously Yun Tian had not told them much about him.

However to Wu Chen’s daughter this time he told her stories of his hunts when he was younger and she was greatly interested in them.

Hearing everything Yun Tian said Wu Chen was surprised since Yun Tian was still so young and he was even younger in the stories.

He couldn’t help but wonder about Yun Tian’s past more.

While he was telling a story Ming Yu came and brought over food with Shen Yu. They ate together while talking and then Wu Chen left in the same way he did the day before giving his two girl’s kisses.

Once he was gone Yun Tian could not help himself anymore and wanted to go try and break through immediately.

Before that though he talked to Ming Yu first.

He turned to her who was finishing putting away the dishes to be cleaned later and said “Auntie Yu we will be upstairs today as well. Please don’t bother making food for us unless we come down for it.”

With a more serious look in his eyes he said “Also, please don’t come bother us. It is very important that we are not disturbed today.”

Being disturbed during a breakthrough could bring disastrous results and while he didn’t want to say he was trying to break through he had to make sure she didn’t disturb him.

Shen Yu would still be with him, but it was just a precaution.

Seeing Yun Tian’s seriousness unnerved Ming Yu a little bit, but she still said “We promised to let you stay here while you are healing so don’t worry and treat this as your home. No one will bother you today I promise.”

She figured since Yun Tian didn’t tell her his reasons she shouldn’t ask since he probably wouldn’t say.

“Thank you Auntie Yu. I will tell you and Uncle Wu Chen something later that will surprise you guys.”

With that mysterious sentence he and Shen Yu went back up to their room leaving Ming Yu with a confused look wondering what he would say to them.

Back in their room Yun Tian walked in and suddenly thought of something.

He turned to look at Shen Yu walking in as well and suddenly said “Ehh, Shen Yu why don’t you stay in front of the door? You know, to better guard the door.”

In truth he just wanted her to be farther away from him in case something happened. He had no idea if something might go wrong with his breakthrough.

Hearing his words that came out of nowhere that also made no sense Shen Yu realized he was trying to hide something and tried to figure it out.

It took a few seconds for Shen Yu to think of something.

When she realized his thoughts Shen Yu didn’t say anything immediately though and instead leaped forward to hug him instead.

She didn’t cry or anything after that though. Instead, while hugging him with all her might, she looked up at Yun Tian and said “If you die, I die.”

That was all she said and after that she released him.

Yun Tian saw the determination in her eyes and he didn’t think anything he said would change her mind.

So he said “Alright then, I won’t die and neither will you. Instead, I will become stronger and we will live great lives. I love you Shen Yu.”
