Chen Long thought inwardly ‘So they do know that we sent an Elder after their clan leader’s daughter. That means they probably killed him and that is why he has not returned while their clan leader’s daughter did.’

‘I observed when they left though and only an early dantian building expert left and game back with her. I will find out what happened later.’

He didn’t show any of his thoughts outwardly though and ignored the looks being thrown at him continuing his friendly act.

Clan leader Hong noticed the Feng clan members' hateful expressions thrown at the Chen clan, but he didn’t know anything about their grievance and they were in a dangerous situation right now so he couldn’t pay any attention to it right now.

He only looked at clan leader Bao and said “The town needs to stay together right now. There won’t be any problems right?”

While irritated at not being able to do anything right now, Feng Bao knew the situation was dire and they could not fight inwardly right now thus he said to his clan members “Calm down and we will settle our differences later.”

Seeing their clan leader who had to be the angriest of all asking them to calm down they did so while being reluctant.

Chen Long smirked inwardly at this.

Now that that was taken care of Chu Hong said “We will wait for the others to arrive and then we will head out to try and scare away the wolves.

The other two clan leaders nodded and then they waited for a while longer.

They did not have to wait for long though since the people coming were after all dantian building realm experts.

The mid dantain and early dantian building realm experts of the weaker clans in town started to show up one after another. Upon arrival they greeted the three strongest clans politely and stood waiting since they seemed to not want to do anything yet.

Eventually Chu Hao said to Chu Hong “Clan leader all those who should arrive have already.”

He had to be formal in front of so many others.

Chu Hong looked around and nodded.

Except for several experts at other parts around the town, there were, excluding himself, six late dantian building realm experts. Besides them were around twenty five mid dantian building experts and around thirty five early dantian building experts.

He thought to himself ‘Hopefully this is enough to scare away the wolves. I don’t know how many are hiding out there.

He looked at all the dantian building realm experts around him and said “Alright now that everyone is gathered I will tell you all the plans. We will go out there and scare away the wolves. We do not want to engage in conflict with them as we do not know how strong they are.”

“Make sure not to kill any of them, even the weaker wild beasts when we go out. We don’t want to agitate them if possible. The best outcome would be for them to leave.”

“If this is not possible we will have to fight them and kill them no matter the cost. It could get worse if some manage to run away so if a battle does start, don’t let any get away.”

Everyone thought his plan was reasonable and he was the strongest so he was naturally in charge.

“Okay, let’s go then.”

With that he jumped off the gate they were all on onto the ground in front of the gate with his green robe fluttering around him.

Behind him the Elders dressed in robes of various colors followed behind him.

Their presence disturbed the wolves and they could tell by the aura these Elders gave off that they were strong.

The wild beast realm wolves in the near surroundings backed off immediately. One hundred something wolves were seen by the elders backing off into the forest.

They didn’t go far though since they soon returned with new demonic beast realm wolves in the lead. There were several middle stage and lower stage demonic wolves.

When they arrived the Elders felt a fain pressure since even though they were stronger, numbers did matter.

They did have their own meridian opening realm experts waiting in the town if needed, but the wild beast realm wolves would definitely be stronger.

Even so the wolves knew they stood no chance by the aura the elders gave off and their numbers. That is why when they arrived the demonic beast realm wolves gave voice to a loud howl.

Hearing this everyone's faces since they knew what this meant. The wolves were calling the whole pack together.

With the howl wolves came swarming to the area.

There was a large clearing in front of the gate, but the wolves filled it up and were in the forest around it as well.

There were around three hundred by now. It also seemed like they had all gathered by now.

There was a commotion in the pack as the wolves cleared an area in front of it for the demonic beast realm wolves.

After that they spread out and the higher echelon came to the front.

Recognising the aura the leader and the two behind him gave off Chu Hong’s face became even darker.

The leader was a peak stage demonic beast. There were also two late stage demonic beasts.

There were twenty middle stage and twenty five early stage demonic beasts.

Right now Chu Hong was restraining his aura so the wolves were looking at them as nothing more than prey right now.

If not for his strength their leader could go on a rampage with his peak stage strength. Chu Hong knew he would still need some help with the leader if they were to fight and all beasts were generally stronger than humans.

If they fought the battle could go either way and he knew that. So he tried to do what he said earlier.

“Everyone show them your strength and try to make them afraid to fight it out.”

With that Chu Hong completely released his aura and showed his peak dantian building realm strength. Once he showcased his strength no one would dare to call him ordinary.

Everyone else also did their best to showcase their strength.

Their combined strength would instill fear into all, even wolves as you could see vigilance appearing in the wolves eyes. The weaker wolves even backed away in fear.

When this happened though the leader of the wolves released a howl and his aura spread showcasing his strength completely. The rest of the demonic beast realm wolves did the same.

This made the other wolves stop backing away.

With this it was basically the two groups competing to see who was stronger with the might they gave off.
