Yun Thought he might ask and he did not plan to hide his plans since people would find out anyway when he came back to sell things.
He thought the guard might not believe him though so he said "We are going to hunt some wild beasts. Don't worry if we don't return tonight too. We will be back, but we will probably only come back after a few days."
When he heard this Wu Chen thought ‘Are they going to be fine? I guess they did come here travelling alone so they should be fine. They should have run into some beasts along the way.’
“Alright just promise me you won’t do anything too dangerous. I will watch for you guys to return.”
Seeing that Wu Chen was worried for their safety Yun Tian reassured him. “Relax we will be fine. We can take care of ourselves.”
“Be safe then. If you come back entering through this gate I will probably be here.”
Yun Tian then said “Goodbye then. You will see how much I could hunt when we get back. I Bet you will be surprised.”
After that they left and walked into the forest. Once they were in the forest Yun Tian said to Shen Yu “Don’t you think it would be hilarious to see the look on his face when he knows that I have hunted demonic beasts. I would love to see the surprise on his face.”
Yun Tian had thought of this joke a while ago and he wondered what Wu Chen would think when he realized his strength. It would also make Wu Chen realize they could take care of themselves.
Shen Yu laughed and said “Haha. I would also like to see his face. Where did you learn to play tricks on people like this?”

“Nowhere I just thought it would be funny.”
Yun Tian focused once more and said “I actually wanted to train some skills first before doing anything else. Are you fine with that?”
Yun Tian wanted an open space without prying eyes where he could practice skills. He could only get that away from town.
“Sure I will cultivate and practice skills too. I need to catch up with you after all.”
Yun Tian ignored the second part and said “Alright then let’s find a spot to practice. We should not go too far so we don’t run into any demonic beasts. I will go hunt them later.”
Shen Yu agreed and then she continued to think about something with a serious look. Yun Tian saw that she was thinking about something and asked “Is something wrong?”
Yun TIan was concerned, but he had no idea about the thoughts going on in her head. ‘Should I ask him to carry me? It would be faster. We might not have to go that far though and we are not pressed for time. I kind of want him to carry me though. What will he think if I ask him to?’
She had liked being carried by him before and wanted him to do it again. She was even thinking of that being their usual way of travelling, with her being held by him.
She worked up the courage and finally said “Dage don’t you think it would be faster if you carried me like before?”
Yun Tian was caught off guard since he had thought she was thinking about something serious. “We are not in a hurry though.”
She thought he would say that so she was prepared and said almost immediately “Why should we not go faster if we can. I don’t want to hold you up if I don’t have to. If I have to be carried by you so I don’t slow you down it’s worth it.”

Yun Tian thought she made some sense. He thought ‘If we could travel faster why not? She probably thinks I am mad at her for being slow. As long as she isn’t upset it is fine.’
“Alright come here then.”
She then happily ran up to him and jumped onto him with her arms around his neck. He held her in his arms and he suddenly thought that he had been cheated for some reason.
After that they really did travel faster so he didn’t put much thought to and Shen Yu was enjoying her new favorite mode of transport.
Since they were travelling fast she didn’t get to enjoy it for long though.
Yun Tian stayed away from town, but did not go too far away so no demonic beasts would appear. He saw many wild beasts, but just ignored them. He looked all around and after a few minutes he found the perfect place.
He found a cave with a wide open space in front of it. There were no trees close to the entrance so it was perfect. He did notice that there were some wild beasts in it though.
He told Shen Yu “Alright wait here for one second I will go clear out the wild beasts and then we can start practicing.”
After that he let her down and she got out of his arms, albeit unhappily.
He walked into the cave and saw some wolves inside. Though they were wild beasts they were only bigger and stronger than normal wolves. He figured he could at least sell their parts later. He also figured that he would be in this cave later so he didn’t want blood everywhere.
So instead of using his sword he used the skill he hadn’t used in a while, cloud palm. While he hadn’t specifically trained or used this skill in a while, he had gained some insight into wind with the fleeting steps skill. He figured some of those insights might also apply to the cloud palm since while clouds were not the same as wind they were at least similar.
He got behind them all with them closer to the entrance of the cave and tried to use his cloud palm skill.

8 179The Light in Death
Set in a modern city where Jesse Gil narrates his experience running a business capitalizing on his ability to heal any affliction — even death. He's forced to take on a student, Shawn Ellison, a spoiled college dropout who awakens abilities of his own, to prevent him from accidentally killing himself. As a result, Jesse must become more than just a healer. He'll need to master his power over energy: the fuel for life, the soul, and magic. I'm uploading the initial draft of each chapter so people can follow along with the story as I complete the manuscript. I'm hoping to gather interest, and potentially attract an editor. After going back to revise and edit; I will self-publish it.

8 229How to become an evil overlord!
Nicolas Aukye kinda hates life, just kinda. There are many good things about life, and he knows that. The problem is, it's a bit difficult to enjoy life when you are trapped within the white walls of a hospital. Don't get me wrong, he doesn't have cancer or some other depressing incurable illness, nor is he lonely and sad, and he is definitely not just plain cuckoo. There's nothing wrong with him, except for the fact that he has two personalities, but that's not important. It wasn't something he was born with, nor something he resents. He just changed a bit when his mother locked him in an abandoned cellar for a few years, and he had to get on with life eating rats 'n' stuff. As I said, don't sweat the small details, and he's fine, because all that stress is gone once he massacres and wrecks havoc for a bit, oh, not in real life, of course, he's not in jail. Like I explained, perfectly normal, just don't mind the small details too much. (First story, I get C in English so, not a good sign. Trying to improve writing skills.) (casual story, lacks effort. I'm as lazy as Tanaka-kun (reference to tanaka-kun is always listless) you are warned) (Inspired by some of my favourites, Everybody loves large chests, Re:Hamster, World Seed and more) (Please don't kill me for mistakes, I'm probably gonna make a sh*t ton of em) (Also, how do I upload a cover page from my Ipad?)
