'He's fast!'

Noboru quickly used [Duplicate Illusion] and [Air Step].

[Duplicate Illusion] is an instant cast spell allowing the user to create an illusion of himself to dodge any incoming attack. [Air Step] is also an instant cast that allows the user to walk into the air for 15 seconds.

Both of those spells were defensives cooldowns that could be learned through the utility spells, every class could learn it through the hall of class back in the game and were useful PvP's cooldowns.

[Duplicate Illusion] could only be used every 2 minutes. The clone only last after receiving a blow and disappear right after then. [Air Step] defensive cooldown was shorter and could be used every 45 seconds.

Rankan who hit the illusion of Noboru was totally surprised from the disappearance of the clone.

'He disappeared?!'

While having such thought, Rankan didn't pay attention to his surroundings and Noboru was already casting a spell 2 meters above Rankan.

Suddenly hearing a noise above his head, Rankan turned his gaze towards the sky.

"Shadow Claw!"

A gigantic shadow claw two sizes bigger than Rankan directed towards him with an unbelieving speed.

Rankan who still remained calm used one of his strongest defensive cooldown of his class against a magic caster, [Reflect Shield].

A wide and round shield appeared in front of him protecting Rankan from the gigantic shadow claw. The shield was smaller than the gigantic shadow claw but once the claw entered into contact with the shield, the claw immediately redirected towards Noboru.

'As expected he directly used his Reflect Shield!'

Noboru who was a pro PvP player back in the game predicted the [Reflect Shield] from Rankan and use [Shadow Eater].

[Shadow Eater] was an instant spell that allows the necromancer to absorb the next shadow magic incoming towards him for the last 5 seconds transforming the necromancer into a demon warrior for the next 30 seconds.

[Shadow Eater] was a strong offensive cooldown but it could only be used every 5 min and was restricted to shadow magic damage only.

The gigantic claw entered in contact with Noboru but was instantly ate by Noboru and went on his mouth as if he was eating foods.

Shadows magic started to form around Noboru and 2 horns grew on his head. Noboru skin also changed into a dark purple color and a tail with two bat wings appeared behind his back.

"The high elf turned into a high demon!"

One of the spectators shouted while pointing Noboru.

"How is that even possible? Maybe he was a high demon from the start?"

Another spectator said.

"Can Rankan beat a high demon?"

The spectator next to the spectator who spoke asked.

"Whoever is the winner, this is going to be an amazing match!"

An excited spectator said.

Noboru who ignored the commotion surrounding the arena looked at Rankan who was taking a defensive stance while looking at him with cautious eyes.

"Here I go!"

Noboru shouted while charging at Rankan. In a blink of an eye, Noboru appeared behind Rankan's back and kicked him with his right leg.

Rankan who didn't expect the first hit to come from his back has been blown 10 meters away from Noboru.

With his high agility, he regained his balance mid-air and quickly regained his stance but Noboru disappeared from his sight once again.

Rankan once again heard a sound above his head and predicted an incoming attack from above but once he looked in the sky, a huge black fireball was directed towards him with an even more astonishing speed than the gigantic claw.

Without the time to use any defensive cooldown, Rankan gets hit by the huge black fireball. A large smoke surrounded the whole area.

Once the smoke totally faded away, Rankan was lying on the ground with burning marks all over his body.

Rankan who seems to be not moving at all, the announcer first thought that Rankan died and was going to announce the winner, but when he looked at Rankan once again and saw him moving slightly.

With all of his efforts, Rankan stood up once again.

The spectators who thought that the combat was going to continue were cheering loudly both of the competitors.

"Rankan!" "Rankan!" "Rankan!"

"Argus!" "Argus!" "Argus!"

Noboru's [Shadow Eater] ended and he came back in his former high elf form. Looking at Rankan with admiration, Rankan suddenly fainted on the spot.

Judging that the fight was over, the announcer announced the end of the fight.

"The winner of the fight is Argus! He won over Rankan the best gladiator of the arena and now become the new strongest gladiator of the Zuran Forest!"

All the trolls were not looking at Noboru with mocking eyes nor underestimate Noboru anymore, they were all cheering loudly for the new strongest gladiator of the arena.

"Argus!" "Argus!" "Argus!"

Noboru who was tired of using too much physical strength was sweating all over his body left the Coliseum ignoring the loud cheers from his surroundings.

The sun would soon set off but Noboru still couldn't be seen near the castle's entrance which makes Louise expression to became slightly worried.

Suddenly, Noboru appeared from far away with behind him goblins and trolls.

Even though they were weak creatures, it was better than nothing but Louise's glance was right now on a full black-armored warrior next to Noboru.

Louise's eyes were good to identify strong warrior and this black-armored warrior was certainly strong, maybe even above some of the generals in the royal palace.

'How did he recruit that warrior?'

With such thought, Noboru was coming closer to Louise. Without having any clue about it, she ignored that thought and welcomed him.

"Welcome back, it seems that you recruit quite a number of soldiers."

"Yes, they were residing inside the Zuran Forest near to the castle so I went to recruit them."

"And... May can I ask who's that person."

Louise's glance was redirected towards the black-armored warrior once again.

"He's a high elf warrior that I found at the deepest part of the forest. It seems that he was actually injured when I found him. After helping him he decided to join me."

Noboru prepared a story beforehand, Felius also followed up after being ordered by Noboru.

"Master Argus saved me on the verge of dying. I own him my life and decided to become his subaltern."

'There is no way such a strong warrior was inside the Zuran Forest... Even more when it's a high elf!'

"I see. You did a good job Argus."

Nodding with still a dubious expression showing on Louise's face, she praised Noboru.

Noboru ordered the goblins and trolls to sleep outside the castle while telling them that their new homes were going to be constructed tomorrow.

Noboru had 2 crafting jobs, one was blacksmithing and the other one was the architect's job.

The architect's job was a special job that was a must-have job for every player back in the game. It was a job that could create building related to the chosen class. It was necessary for the players to create their own bases after earning a land.

Noboru still didn't try to construct a building but even if architect's profession wasn't working, he intended to make the goblins and trolls to construct their own village the next day.

Noboru returned to the castle guided by Louise with Felius, they both directed towards the throne room.
