《The Last Necromancer》The Fourteenth Princess - Prologue

"Hmm, so that's the strongest demon you could summon with all of our remaining magic stones?" Muttered the young blonde lady sitting in front of Noboru.
Noboru recognized that young blonde lady, she was a young 17 years old at the same age as Noboru, the third daughter of the vampire queen and the fourteenth princess of the demon lord, Alexia El Pacio.
Alexia El Pacio was an NPC in Noboru's favorite game, Azeldrius Online. She was the weakest princess of the demon faction, due to being the youngest one and without strong servitors.
Lost in his thought, Noboru came back to his sense after the young lady called one of the maids who was kneeling next to him.
"Louise... How is that even possible to use twenty magic stones and summon such a weakling necromancer?" She asked.
'I see, so they summoned me through magic stones.'
A few minutes ago, Noboru was eating his dinner until he suddenly has been summoned inside this castle.
In fact, Noboru wasn't that much surprised being summoned. He recalled his mother who told him before dying that he was one day going to be summoned to another world, although he still had some doubt about it after growing up, being summoned there make him realized his mother's words.
The maid who was called Louise bowed her head even more to the ground answered.
"I'm sorry but I don't have any plausible explanation, my lady..."
Noboru who loved the necromancer class more than anyone in Azeldrius Online couldn't accept such an insult towards his favorite class, he glanced at the princess and spoke in a cold tone.
"I don't care either you're a princess or the demon lord's daughter but to say that necromancer are weaklings, you've got some nerves."
The princess remained calm without getting angered by Noboru's attitude and answered him back with the same cold expression as Noboru.

"I don't sense any magic power from you and necromancer no longer existed due to the Holy Church, they were decimated from this world because they were weaklings. If you're not satisfied with me calling you a weakling then just show me the strength of those so-called necromancers."
'Decimated?' Noboru was surprised by the princess' word, in Azeldrius Online, necromancer was effectively a weak class for beginners, they didn't have much health or magic power and they couldn't summon strong undead until reaching level 60 but from the Azeldrius's lore, necromancers should still exist.
"What do you mean by decimated?" Asked Noboru.
The princess who sighed after hearing Noboru's question answered in a regretful tone.
"Necromancers were once one of the strongest profession within the demon world, but five hundred centuries ago, the Holy Church found a new way to counter the undead through Paladins, strong beings favored by the light. The humans were able to repel the undead's invasion and killed all the necromancers after the war."
Noboru, who was a little perturbed after hearing the story slightly nodded his head.
'I see, that's why most of the necromancers were hiding when I was doing the necromancer's quests.'
Noticing Noboru in deep thought, the princes's cough and said.
"Now that I have explained you about the decimation of your predecessor, I wanted you to show me your strength"
Alexia actually never encountered a single necromancer since her birth, it was an extinct being that no longer exist in the demon world, now that she summoned him, there was no other choice but to acknowledged this necromancer as her servitor, she used too many resources to summon him, it was a waste to throw it away.
"I guess you're right." Said Noboru while nodding, he gained information so he needed to repay the information he gained.
Noboru slowly removed one of his ring on his right hand, it was actually a magic power concealing ring, magic powers suddenly released from Noboru filling the whole castle.
Glancing at the princess, Noboru introduced himself as his character name.
"I'm Argus, the last necromancer of the demon world."

Marakar
Far from the exploration he yearned to go on, Rae, the Kijah prince, finds himself in the middle of the impending war between Kijah'dar and Ga'ani. Unknown to him, or to the rest of the states, the Kijah Magister plots to overthrow the queen, and he will stop at nothing to achieve his plans. Marakar is a fantasy adventure series about the island states of Mar’narana (with focus primarily on the two states, Kijah'dar and Ga'ani). Tensions between the big players are rising, with more and more plots getting revealed, and powers are unexpectedly shifting. As the string of seemingly unconnected events grows taut, the smaller nations suddenly find themselves into the midst of things, struggling with the sudden shifting of their boards. On a more meta note, I am trying to develop two storylines parallel to each other. As you might have noticed, odd-numbered chapters are very different from even-numbered chapters. That’s because those are the two different storylines; odd-numbered chapters are in the present, while even-numbered ones are in the past. Once the two eventually meet I'll continue with just the present storyline. This story can also be found here where it currently updates every other Sunday (about twice a month). Feedback is greatly appreciated! Thank you for taking the time to read. :) tw/cw list (please take care of your mental health! Don't force yourself to read these chapters if they may harm you). -------> Chapter 14: hate crime description.
