《DK (Dropped)》Chapter II - Spiders and Wasps

I kept running, even if I looked like a fool towards that scream, while passing trough the huge trees.
(Wait a minute, what am I doing?) I thought. (What am I? A cliché dumbass?)
I suddenly stopped, thinking about it straight, but even knowing the frail body that I had, my strength to see what was happening was stronger than my fear of death, because after all, I am an Undead.
So I crouched and walked into the same direction.
Little by little, I started to ear more noises.
"cha-ching, clank, bzzzt, cha-ching, clank," It sounded like melee weapons clashing.
(If its a battle, I cannot miss it!)
I walked 12 meters more ans the sounds were getting bigger.
Approach the location I did, hidding behind a huge tree that had two bushes to its right.
(It seems the battle is just after this tree, good thing the shadows of these huge trees pretty much cover most of the moonlight!)
Crouching behind the bushes, I pushed both a bit to the side, so I could see what was happening.
There I saw it, 2 groups fighting each other.
(That looks like a wasp? And a Spider?)
These spiders had four legs and four arms, the upper pair of arms on top looked so bulky, with strong muscles and claw hands of three fingers, while the lower second pair were skinnier with scythes of a mantis.
They had black fur on their legs, back and hair.
Their head had eight black eyes and 4 chelicerae wich each holds a sharp fang.
The wasps, with their wings on the back, their body colored black yellow, had wasp heads and were same height of the spiders.
(Yes, totally they look like wasps!) The exception compared to Earth Wasps was their size and that they seemed to walk with two legs while using four arms like a human, but these compared to the spiders, looked so much skinnier.
While the spiders were fighting bare handed, the wasps were using shields, swords and spears.
(I will watch a bit more until I decide what to do?) Thats what I thought, because there's a chance that these two groups might hate skeletons.

Two wasp warriors laid down dead, with orange blood still coming out from their bodies spreading on the grass, alongside them, three dead spiders shared their deadly ground with blue blood.
There were three wasps alive, one with the shield and a sword, another with 1 spear, the third one had two swords, 1 huge scar across its left eye and a piece of cloth that served as a cape.
I assumed the third one was their leader, they were facing seven spiders.
One of the spiders rushed to the shield wasp, "cha-ching" one of the spiders scythes almost hit, but the wasp barely made to shield it. "Pow!" The top strong spider arm punched the shield and started to push it.
To hold the enemy, the wasp had to use 3 of its arms just to hold the shield, but even the pressure was so great that the shield seemed like it was about to crack.
The second wasp was in no better situation, it alone was trying to hold off two of the spiders with just a spear, for some reason, of the wasp group, it was the only one flying.
Their leader was tired, always pausing to take a breath, it seemed like he was taking the bulk of the enemy.
A third spider rushes to him, "ching, squeak" only to find the blade of the wasps warrior on its head.
Suddenly Fourth spider jumps into the leader attempting to kill him, but he failed, the beast was cut by the sword and three of its legs separated from its body. "grrrakk, grrrakk, grrrakk"
As the leader wasp exhausted, took another breath, only to open an opportunity open for the fifth spider, wich rushed the wasp, swinging one of his arms, not only the leader's sword flew away, but also the wasp's arm that was ripped off.
This was the Last stand of the three wasp warriors, with five enemies remaining.
The leader suddenly shouted with all his lungs "Protect the Princess! She is our future!" And while doing so, he positioned his back towards...

(Towards the tree right next to me? Princess? What is he talking about?) I was so much focused on the battle, that I failed to notice, that 2 meters to my left, right on the front of the tree was another wasp.
There she was, their so-called Princess, who laid down unconscious.
(Princess, saving Princess equals some sort of profit?) Not going to lie, just imagine the most greedy smile a skeleton could do.
"Dumb fucking spiders! Leave my territory at once or face my wrath!" The huge shout was launched from the bushes, my roar of war echoed troughout the forest.
At that moment I stood up with my arms open, pretending that my hands were claws and as tall as two spiders.
I froze for a few seconds, because yet again, because of the battle, I did not notice another important thing.
(I spent this time crouched thinking that these mobs were the same size as a human, but all this time they are only half my size!)
Both wasps and spiders stoped the fight. Both groups were just staring at me.
I Did not spoke more words, "clack" I took one step forward, "clack" took a second step.
2 seconds later, the spiders simply ran away, (I wonder if skelephobia is a thing on this world?) Thats what I thought about the spiders upon seeing them escape, the wasps warriors in the other hand, were facing their weapons at me.
"Don't you dare touch the princess! You beast!" Shouted the wasp leader.
"Face the wrath of my spear if you do!" Screamed the wasp warrior with the spear.
(I saved you and this is what I get? I guess it doesn't count as saving since Im unknow to them and they might think I am hunting both spiders and wasps»)
So, in the end, the answer was easy.
I faced the wasp leader and stated "The one with the scar, do you have no manners? If you want to ask something on someone when you are trespassing on their backyard, do it politely!"
(Yes, I was born just today, saying that this area belongs to me sounds like bullshit, but in no way i am letting these guys know of it, the "I was not born yesterday" still applies on this situation!)
Here I was, thinking what to do, waiting for the wasps answer, will it be delivered by their mouths or weapons?
The wasp with the shield, wich was silent at first, took a step forward. "Pl-Please don't harm our Princess!" He said while holding his sword and shield.
(Fuck yeah! Oh wait, keep the posture)
I answered with a robotic answer "Very well." as I turned back and returned to the hill from where I was born.
"Is he gone?" The wasp leader inquired his comrades.
"Yes, he is walking away!" Said wasp warrior with the spear while flying above the two bushes.
"What do we do now? What if the Arach return?!?" Asked the worried wasp with a shield."If they come back, we will not survive! And the princess..."
Grabbing his second sword, "We cannot return..." The leader mumbled, thinking on what to do.
"Take my second sword for now!" declared the leader as he gave it to the shield wasp.
With one arm he held his first sword, with the other 2 he picked up and held the unconscious princess.
"For now, lets stick with that Beast, he does not seem hostile, better him than those dumb eight leg trash!" Presumed the leader.
As I reached the top of the hill, I sat down, thinking.
(Fantasy world with spiders and wasps humanoids, I wonder what other creatures will I find?)
There I was, looking up again at the beautiful moon.
"Bzzzt" That was the sound that I heard, it was the wings of a wasp.
I looked down the hill, there they were, the three warriors and their princess coming into my home.
