《DK (Dropped)》Nulla

I woke up in a room. It was definitely not mine, as moving my arms around to see if I bumped into any of my belogings to check my location, but nothing, it was so dark, so I assumed that me dreaming was the answer.
"It was just another regular day in DK`s life, but, he was in a dark room, not his room, he could not even see the exit."
(I wonder, what is that?)
Out of nowhere, a random floating shiny blue light appeared.
"Suddenly a light appeared out of nowhere, so shiny, too bad it was blue..."
"Excuse me, but what are you doing?" (Blue Light)
(So now light's have a mouth and are able to speak? A ghost it is!)
"Narrating, have you not heard of it? Hum?" In an ironic manner I answered the light.
The blue light slightly moved around my body, its movement seemed very gentle.
It paused its movement right on my front.
"I know what narrating is, but why are you doing it? Nevermind that! Why aren't you asking questions about whom I am or where you are? This is not how it normally goes!" (Blue Light)
(Why do I get the feeling of being forced to follow a script?)
"Fine, what kind of ghost are you? Where am I?" I promptly asked.
(Want to bet the next thing it will want, is for me to ask if fire is hot?)
"I am a God, specifically, a God of reincarnation," The blue light said with hight pride. "This is a temporal space available for both of us, on wich will be decided your future life in a fantasy world different from the one you were born."
(Does he not have a name? Let me guess. This is the part where he says that I am getting something special like a sword or skill?)

"You died prematurely, the heart attack that you had, was meant for someone else, as an apology you will be granted 3 skills or powers."
(If only I had this luck with the lottery back on Earth, wait a minute, how the fuck does one get someone else's supposed heart attack?)
"So I get 3 wishes? Awesome!" I literally started to banana dance the second I heard three and skills glued together while interrupting the God's speech.
"Yes, I know it is a shock, please under... awesome? " Interrupted mid sentence, the god was confused for a second. "Uh, well, yes, you may call it 3 wishes, but are you not worried about your family and friends?"
"I am not worried, they are far better without me..." I told the blue light while I sat on sieza position.
"So, my first wish is to have 3 more wishes!" (DK)
"I regret that it is not possible!" Said the blue light God. "Please think of something else to ask, it is obvious that asking for more things does not count."
(Lets try this then!)
"Very well, then first, I want to be a skeleton, as a skeleton I will not die of old age, will not rot, after breaking something of my body, I can simply re attache it like legos and of course, I will be weak against light or fire."
"Seems fair, first wish granted!" God proudly agreed. "What about the second one?"
"For the second wish, I request that all languages are auto-translated when I ear or talk with other people, animals and races." (DK)
"Wonderful, it will save you the trouble of learning new languages, Second wish granted!" (God)
The blue light God thought.

(At first, I thought he would ask for powerfull weapons or ultimate defenses, but his 2 first powers have either a major weakness or have at most no effect at all so I will accept the third one even if it's an extreme power for fighting!)
"My third and final wish is to be able to learn any skill I want, but to be fair..." I kept speaking with a politely tone but decided to take a slight breath. "every skill will be divided into three categories, weak, good, strong, on wich each will take from one, three or seven days to learn." I took a second breath.
"And to make it fair, every strong skill will have one weakness wich I will decide!" I took third breath, held my position and waited for Gods answer.
(Oh my, at first I thought he was going to ask for something powerfull, but even his strong skills will have weaknesses?!?) Thought God with pride at my requests that sounded fair and square.
"Third Wish Granted!" Said the blue light God "Now, before I send you to the fantasy world, I am sure you should at least want me to inform you of the basic countries, communities and locations!"exclaimed God.
I was surprised that this God had agreed to my requests.
(I did not expect for a God to fall for this trick so easily, Is he new at this? Or were the previous reincarnated people really dumb enough to not think twice about what they wanted?)
"Thank you, but no, I hate spoilers, please let me find it all out by myself!" (DK)
"Very well." God so humbly said to me as a vortex opened beneath my feet, swallowing me in.
"Good luck!" To me, he shouted.
Without having time to say thank you or good bye, to a new world I departed.

Cinder Roots (Undergoing a Rewrite)
This novel is currently undergoing a major rewrite, as I noticed several plot points that needed to be revamped. I'll leave the chapters I've posted here to anyone curious to see how everything started, but I'll be posting the rewritten story as a new novel in the future. The characters will be the same, but the journey will be more understandable and hopefully, a lot more fun to read. -------- First, everything was fire, it killed, it consumed, and it gave him life. He was just a tree, born in the biggest forest that remained in the world, full of dryads, naiads, elves and treants, but he was alone. He couldn’t see. He couldn’t talk. Curiosity plagued him. He dreamed of wandering the land, but could only wonder what stood outside the reach of his roots. The tree was tired of waiting. He decided to not just dream, but to act. How could he survive against a invading empire, a grand conspiracy that threatened to shake the foundations of the world, and the raw danger that lies within these woods? With pure determination. Warning - There are quite a few POV changes in the first chapters, but that'll change after the introduction is done, as I'll be focusing on the MC perspective only.

Deep beneath the Imperial City is carved the Imperial Sewers out of the bedrock. Here, life is cheap and ruined dreams and violence intermingle among the filth and utter squalor. One of those living there, carving out a meagre existence by theft and murder, is a young girl... (Useful info time! The releases for this one will largely follow the same pattern as the main project Avine. One chapter every friday for foreseeable future). 09.29.18: Reality caught up with me, this means I have to scale back my writing time considerably. I promise to finish it, but it will be piecemeal, and progress made likely around holiday times.
