Hospital
Kacie was asleep while receiving medical treatment. The motorist was outside waiting for the doctor to leave the room so he can get an update about Kacie’s situation.
Whilst waiting for several hours, a person finally exited the room possessing papers in their hands. It was a male that’s dark skin in complexion with a noticeable scar on the left corner of his chin, he looked rather youthful, the mid to late 20s, warm brown eyes and a head so bald that if you dare look at the top for too long, you might go blind. Dressed professionally in a milk-white coat, gloves, and holding papers in his hands.
The motorist said to himself “He must be doctor, right?!”
[Assuming he was the doctor, the motorist approached him with a sense of concern] asking, “Is he going to be fine?
The person replied with “You don’t have to be so woebegone sir; he’s going to be okay [reads through the medical papers] he had suffered some minor head injury and small cuts over his body but other than that he’s going to be up and about soon”
The motorist with a sigh of relief said “That’s great to hear [looks at badge] Doctor…...Fran……cis”
Dr. Francis looked at him with confusion, “Not to be rude or anything but who are you again?”
The motorist responds “Oh yeah, I’m Quincy Renshaw”
Dr. Francis curiously asked, “So what are you to Kacie, a relative?”
[Quincy glance at the ground] as he said, “Well….no…. but I’m the person who called the ambulance and looked after him until they came”
Dr. Francis “Oh Woah, you did a terrific thing today Mr. Renshaw. [smiles as he gave Quincy a pat on his shoulder] you must be tired so you can go home and get rest; we here will take care of him for now so he’s in great hands”

Quincy “No I’m fine but what’s going to happen to him when he’s discharged from the hospital?”
Dr. Francis “The most likely outcome is that he will end up staying by another family member or an orphanage”
[Quincy watched Kacie through the window] “I don’t want him to be in an orphanage, I know how harsh those places can be” he said.
Dr. Francis “We’ll see if there are any of his family members that are willing to take him”
Quincy sighs when he said, “What about his family?”
Dr. Francis [looks down] “It would be best not to mention them”
Quincy “[Huh] I understand”
About 30 minutes had passed until Kacie finally woke up from his rest. He opened his eyes and saw Quincy sitting down in the chair next to him and Dr. Francis standing over him.
Dr. Francis smiles “Hey there [modestly waved at Kacie], you’re a strong boy, aren’t you Kacie”
Kacie looks at both in a puzzled way as he said “Where am I?”
Dr. Francis “You’re in the hospital, I’m Dr. Francis and the man over there is the person that saved you, Quincy Renshaw.”
Kacie “[he looks around nervously] Where’s Majesty!?! Is my sister okay!?!”
Dr. Francis stammers “W……well”
Kacie [in a bewildering style] “Well what?”
Dr. Francis shouted, “Your family is dead!!”
Quincy [appalled] “Sir!”
Patient #1 [open curtain] “Jesus Christ!”
Dr. Francis “Phew, I finally got that off my chest”
[Quincy shakes his head in disgust to Dr. Francis]
Kacie uttered a cry of pain and anguish as he was appalled by the news “So it wasn’t just a horrible dream, it really happened”
Kacie's heart sunk into his stomach as tears came trickling down his face once more, as he was traumatized as he couldn’t have found words to express how broken he had felt.

Dr. Francis resumed “I know that may be a hard pill in swallow but……”
Patient #1 satirically said “Yuh think”
Dr. Francis to Patient #1 “This Phil, this is why your wife beat you with a dildo”
Patient #1 “……...” [closes curtain slowly]
Quincy confused “Wait, a dildo?”
Dr. Francis “It’s a long story but enough about that, let's get back to the bartas………. [clears throat] Kacie.”
“Good Lord”
Dr. Francis “It will be wise for you to take as much time as you need to recover from this”
Quincy “Yeah kid, you can get more rest if you want”
Kacie “Rest? To wake up to this place again, I couldn’t even save her [in anger he pelts pillow on the floor]”
[Dr. Francis thought to himself] “Did he just said save her? What is he, Batman?”
Dr. Francis said in a gloomy voice “[sighs] Look I’m sorry, this loss will put a serious strain on your mental state, but self-condemnation isn’t the best thing for you because it wasn’t your fault and I doubt your sister thinks the same as well”
The advice from Dr. Francis had alleviated a small amount of the suffering Kacie was experiencing.
Kacie “[Two pronounced tears descended steadily from the corners of his eyes onto his cheek as he stuttered] Ok……[exhales]”
