《Assassin Alonne》Chapter 4

The wolf stared vacantly at the ogre that was running towards the two hunters. It was about 3 meters tall, green, and carried a wooden club in his hand.
It swung its club at the older hunter who dodged it. The younger hunter was in a trance and had just recollected her thought. She ran up to the ogre from behind. She jumped upward and plunged her sword deep into the ogre's back. The ogre roared and like a rodeo shook off the woman from his back where the sword still sat. The old man charged the ogre at the front and slashed his sword. The ogre responded by deflecting the sword with his wrist and swinging his large fist into the old man sending him flying into a tree. The tree nearly split in half and the man was struggling to get up.
The woman went to her father's aid and picked him up. She was about to retreat from the battle with her father, but suddenly she heard a terrifying growl from where the ogre was. It was like that of a dog, but also different from any other she'd heard. They say the scariest thing in the world is the unknown. Emily had definitely been more scared then she has ever been before and it was because of a beast that had been known by the world for hundreds of thousands of years.
The wolf was behind the ogre growling instead of attacking him. As if taunting him the wolf walked in a circle around the ogre. The ogre who had just been interrupted was annoyed and swung his club at the wolf. It easily dodged and trotted into the forest. The enraged ogre chased the wolf intently, ready to kill the wolf at any moment.
Emily and her father watched as the ogre chased the wolf into a denser part of the forest. Emily had a shocked look on her face. Her father Jim coughed up some blood and attempted to speak.

"Haha... I told... you that...they were... members of top... guilds."
Emily seemed to snap out of it and instructed her father to drink a health potion. As he did his expression seemed to lighten a bit and he stopped coughing up blood. Then they both went back to the forest's entrance to heal.

The wolf's trot turned into a run and then the ogre sped up as well. The two were avoiding trees in a chase. Trees flew past in the blink of an eye and the ogre had trouble keeping up, but then the wolf was gone. The ogre stopped and looked around at where the wolf had been.
Alone activated the sprint skill and the shadow sneak skill simultaneously. To his surprise, the sprint skill was faster than he imagined.
[Sprint: Doubles the user's speed. The user's stamina will be drained as a result. Stamina is based on the agility stat.]
A black figure blasted past the ogre. The ogre felt the wind caused by the figure's speed and turned around to find nothing. The figure blew past the ogre several times without the ogre even catching a glimpse of it. The figure sped up and up gaining speed over time. The ogre panicked a swing his club randomly all over the place. The figure skillfully avoided each and every swing. The ogre soon got tired of swinging and conserved his energy, waiting for his chance. Sweat was visible on the ogre's forehead but was quickly blown away by the whirlwind caused by the speed of the enshrouded wolf. The wolf's speed kept increasing more and more without rest. Suddenly the forest went quiet and the wind calmed down. Fear was gripping the ogre by the heart and he had a hard time breathing.

1 minute went by then two then 3. The ogre couldn't muster the strength to move without knowing where the wolf was. Suddenly a large branch fell from a tree. The ogre cried out in fear and turned to look. Then another large branch fell then another. It was almost as if the forest around the ogre was crumbling. The ogre was petrified. The ogre felt something soft brush by him and swung his club. The ground shook after the club hit the ground.
The ogre had. never been scared of anything before now and was trembling in terror. The ogre was losing his mind in fear and panic. The ogre sat for a few more minutes without moving. The ogre couldn't take it any longer and took a step forward. The ogre stepped on a fallen branch and cried out in terror once more. The ogre felt like he was going insane.
'How long have I been here!? How long have I been tormented by this thing!?'
Suddenly the ogre heard some bushes rustling behind him. He looked over in anticipation. A horned rabbit hopped out of the bushes. Then without hesitation and in the blink of an eye, the black figure took the rabbit away. Soon a loud crunch sounded throughout the forest. Tears began to stream from the ogre's eyes.
'I don't want to die!'
The ogre ran to a boulder and put his back up against it. The ogre felt vulnerable in the very forest he called home. The ogre felt liquid fall on to his head. The ogre didn't dare take his eyes off of the forest and touched the liquid with the hand that wasn't holding his club. He pulled his hand to his eyes and saw a red liquid in his hand.
'Blood!'
The ogre looked up with tears in his eyes streaming down his face. He saw a wolf clear as day with blood dripping from its jaws and glowing red eyes instead of gold. Soon a sound that no one on earth had ever heard before echoed throughout the entire forest and beyond into the city. The screams of an ogre.
Alonne ate enough of the ogre to became full and saw status screens.
