《The Rise Of The Death God》Magic!

After the fight, Chibi was still panting. He took the necklace of the hobgoblin and put it in his pocket. He checked its boots, but sadly they were normal shoes
He then pried out the fangs of all the goblins and the hobgoblin barehanded and collected their blood because they could be used for alchemy. With his knowledge, he could create basic health and mana potions.
After one last look at the battlefield and the mountain of human and monster corpses, Chibi slowly turned around and walked home limping. He smeared goblin blood in case he encountered any goblins.
As Chibi trudged along, he saw an abandoned shop nearby. He took his brick and threw it at the glass window and climbed in through the broken glass to get himself some supplies. It was the end of the world. Who needed morals?
He scavenged around the store and found tons of canned, microwaveable food taken. “Morons, electricity is gone. There’s no need to carry that type of food. More actual edibles for me I guess!” He found some non-perishables and bottles of water. After taking as much food and water as he could, he slowly limped back home to rest.
On the way home, he was halted by 2 Gobinsthat were easily killed by the gunchucks he had. He had to find a way to silence the sound of each shot from now on. For now, he had other priorities to focus on.
Back at home, he tried to get onto the internet, and it still worked “Still works… Probably not for long though.” He read some news articles out of boredom and started lazing around. After washing up and quickly eating everything in their frozen state, he prepared to go to bed and get some sleep.
The next morning, he woke up with sore muscles. He tried to access the internet and see what was going on around the world.

As most would think in an apocalypse, the world was in Chaos. Nobody knew where the monsters came and why they came.
Some Otakus were even hyped because they thought that this would be their story of being a hero. “Fuckin’ otakus. They’ll be the first to die. Screw bravery. Living is more important!”
After checking some other news articles, he decided to do some alchemy. Basic alchemy wasn't hard to do. There were 2 reasons for this. First, common ingredients were easy to find and Second, it was easy to create a fire or heat with high enough temperatures to melt and mix the ingredients..
Before doing anything though, he reminisced about his past life and how he learned alchemy and magic. Back then everyone could learn magic by trading some rare monster parts with a race of neutral beings known as the Elves. Even though he wasn't good at it, it was enough to learn the basics about magic and alchemy.
First of all, magic had many side branches. For example, necromancy and elemental magic are 2 of the most well known methods of using magic. Pure magic was what the Gods of the Elves used and why it made them so powerful.
How one absorbed mana also worked differently with every side branch. For example Necromancy needed souls to cast magic. 1 soul contained enough mana for 10 low level spells. The stronger the monster was, the stronger the soul is, and so they could utilize more powerful magic. The downside was that they could only gain the souls of the dead and had to be extracted in a harsh method. The souls could also resist the extraction and so the Necromancers had to be strong enough to pull the soul out of the dead body.
Elemental Magicians mostly gained mana from the air. . They had the advantage of having a nearly infinite source of mana;however, the air that was used to cast magic must be able to be stored in the caster’s body and so was limited to how much the Elemental Magician could hold on to. They could also use other elements like fire, but it was harder to control due to each element having unique characteristics.

The Bronze Players of Recreation
The world of Creation has seen a recent explosion of what can only be called an adventurer’s culture over the past few decades. People who were once looked at as nothing more than lower class mercenaries rose to the ranks of heroes and legends as adventuring became recognized as an idealized lifestyle of overcoming hardship and finding triumph. With the establishment of a guild-based government system on the continent of Terramania, adventurers were soon legitimized and adventuring became a phenomenon universally accepted around the world. Redlette had retreated from this world to live on Earth for the remainder of her years, having been born and outcast by the gods of Creation. However, upon meeting a friend that she treasured dearly, she found herself longing for a return to her world—she wanted to experience it properly and go on adventures with someone whom she holds dear. Putting a plan into action, she meets with her friend, an awkward, nerdy boy by the username of Herring who she’d only known through years of playing online games with him, and invites him to go on this fantastic adventure with her. An adventure in another world had always been an impossible dream for Herring, but when he suddenly found himself with the opportunity to embark on one, he knew it wouldn’t be as simple as books and shows made it out to be. Redlette was notorious for rushing into things without thinking them through, and he was flighty and weak. In the games they played together, they rarely grasped victory. They were losers through and through, both in hobby and life. Despite this, though, he takes the leap and sets off with Redlette into the world of Creation. Together they only had one goal: to have fun and go on the adventure of their lives. This time, they’d establish a guild of their own and be free to take on whatever exploits their hearts desired. This is the story of the founding of their guild. Author’s Notes: -My writing style is largely based off of the absurd amount of light novels I’ve read and anime I’ve watched, so it may come off as cartoonish or exaggerative at times. If that isn’t your thing, I’d steer clear of this story.-Not an MMO story.-No numerical stats.-Relatively slow pacing.-Posts are between 2000-5000 words weekly after Chapter 1.
