《The Rise Of The Death God》Dance of Death

Suddenly he heard the pavement behind him crack. Danger was near! He jumped as far as he could from where he stood before. To the right of his previous spot, a sword almost as tall as Chibi was jabbed into the pavement. If that had struck Chibi, it would have easily sliced him in half.
After dodging, he couldn’t believe his eyes because in front of him was a hobgoblin, a monster that should only appear on the second day. Hobgoblins were superior to goblins in every way. Faster, stronger, smarter, and tougher!.
He knew he had to think fast because currently, he only had potential and nearly no actual strength. Sure, the transformation made his body stronger, but that was only by human standards. How could humans stand against monsters in a contest of pure strength?
He couldn’t run because the hobgoblin would surely be faster than him. It most likely was a Monster Commander with precious artifacts
The only sensible thing was taking the initiative. With the initiative, he could be on the offence, and so he quickly rushed towards the hobgoblin and threw the broken bottles at its head.
Chibi screamed loudly, jumped and stabbed towards the hobgoblin’s eyes with his stick, but the hobgoblin was quick. Before Chibi could process what he was doing, the hobgoblin just grabbed the stick with speed that Chibi couldn’t fathom and snapped it in half.
Soon afterwards, the hobgoblin kicked Chibi and rushed after him to slice him in half. Somehow managing to roll away at the nick of time, Chibi got up and started looking for opportunities to turn the battle to his favour.
Then it hit him! If he remembered correctly, then he only needed to kill one more enemy to get the gunchucks. He quickly looked around and saw the goblin that he didn't manage to kill before was crawling away.

He instantly grabbed his brick and threw it at the goblin while the hobgoblin just stared confused at Chibi. “C'mon...Please Land. I can’t die here… “ The brick flew and created a crater in the goblin’s skull. The Goblin let out one last miserable shriek before dying. The hobgoblin couldn’t care less about inferior creatures. Chibi then heard a sound in his head.
[DING]
[UNLOCKED ACHIEVEMENT]
[GUNCHUCKS NOW AVAILABLE FOR USE]
"A gift from the God of Death?" Chibi thought. He instantly opened the gift. Inside it was a note and something that looked like a broken glass shard.
The note had the following message
{This shall be a gift for all of my disciples
Everyone of you has gotten something that would fit his/her choice of fighting right now
We will see you in 2 years
~ God of Death}
The glass shard suddenly materialised and penetrated Chibi’s head so quickly that no one saw the movement. He started seeing a skill being performed that embodies death to the utmost. He couldn't even forget it. It was as if it was engraved in his memories.
After coming back from his little blackout he saw the hobgoblin rush at him and Chibi instantly morphed his katana handle into gunchucks.
While keeping moderate distance, he shot at the weak points of the hobgoblin. Once it got too close, he used basic movements he could replicate from the skill in his mind.
After fighting for a while the hobgoblin was on its last stand. It had bruises and cuts all over its body and shrapnel was visible everywhere on his body.. It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say it was mutilated.
The hobgoblin screamed. Suddenly, the tribal necklace around its neck shone and it instantly fell into a rage. Its body was deteriorating at a visible and faster rate, but it was even stronger.

It was faster and had expelled the shrapnel of the bullets. It was hard to keep distance, so he decided to rush at the hobgoblin and perform the Dance of Death: Endless Barrage. He circled the Hobgoblin multiple times while avoiding its sword. Shooting at the hobgoblin was somewhat stressful and Chibi had trouble breathing.
Just before he couldn't go on anymore and the gunchucks were about to break, the hobgoblin stopped. The sword stopped right in front of Chibi’s head. The hobgoblin breathed his last breath and died.

Passing Onto Fog
This is another attempt at the world travelling reincarnator. I dropped my other story because I didn't like where it was going and I felt trapped in the Narutoverse. This time, I'm going to have the main character travelling to more than just one world and they won't all be action based. Have fun and thank you! The first chapters are rough, but I believe I'm improving! Please stick around while I find the style I wish to write in!

SuperTraveler: Lost in Another World
Rejected by his world, a mulleted teen who lives his life as a caricature of his old man's glory days is forced to take care of a dragon's princess. These two normal people, at least normal unto their respective worlds, struggle to cope with becoming the monsters that a bunch of mad gods need them to be. Do they side with the insane god escaping the organic clockwork of Death, the god who wants to destroy that evil, or perhaps, a third option? Content Warning: This will depict substance abuse, suicidal thoughts, and will likely become an ongoing list of content advisories. This is going to be an adventure-centric story, not a battle fantasy. It's got elements of LitRPG and standard isekai, but not for the MC. He's got a different path to follow, one without power-leveling and harems.
