《Observing Death》Beauty

Order is what makes the world beautiful, when everything fits exactly where they are meant to be.

I nod to myself as I rearranged the last piece of book from the bookshelf, finishing the pattern of books forming a gradient. From a warm color to a cold one, the books were rearranged in such a fashion that it exudes grace and beauty. Another work masterfully done with careful planning such that the project achieves perfection.

Aiming my camera at the bookshelf, I took a picture, a new addition to my gallery.

I took my belongings and prepared to go back home, I enjoyed my time at the library. Books separated into sections, further divided by which author wrote them, I see a chaotic order. An organized mess of information that is just enough to scratch my itch of achieving equilibrium.

Walking through the sidewalk, I marveled at the trees equidistant to each other, prompting a smile to emerge on my face.

At my door, I lodged the key into the doorknob and turned it, opening the door and allowing me to go inside the house. Taking my shoes off, I placed them in a box cabinet specifically labelled outdoor shoes, neatly placed right next to a box with my indoor shoes inside.

I put on the indoor shoes and took off my coat, hanging it on a hook just above the boxes. I walked further inside the house and went inside my bedroom, I didn't get a two storey house as the stairs would ruin the symmetry.

Taking my clothes off, I folded them neatly and placed them inside the laundry basket. I placed my camera down at the center of the table and went to the closet to change my clothes.

As I opened the closet door, I was greeted with clothes already in pairs hanged from a clothes hanger, sequenced in such a way that it doesn't tick off my need for order. Grabbing one from the pile, I changed into them and placed the hanger inside a drawer right below the hanged clothes.

Grabbing my camera, I held it in hand as I went inside another room. I turned on the lights to my office where nothing but a table and a chair is present, empty so that nothing will distract me from my thoughts.

In the chair sat a woman, my wife, she was beautiful and every part of her adds to her beauty. I could only watch her from afar before, but now we finally got married.

I had a fight with her when I took her away and brought her into our home which caused one of her legs to bend at the wrong side when she squirmed and fell out of my hands. I held her legs on instinct as I tried to prevent her fall, that was when she broke her leg and lodged it off her kneecaps.

I couldn't bear to see her like that, so disgusting, her foot facing backwards. My goddess can't be in such an unsightly state, I had to do what any man would do. I carried her into my office and placed her on the table, she was crying all the while.

I watched as her eyes glistened with tears, she looked like a fairy and I hate that a part of her was not perfect. I continuously told her to not worry and that the pain will be gone soon. I went into the kitchen and grabbed a cleaver, I didn't want to hurt her so I made her sleep with a cloth covered in chloroform.

I used a new piece of handkerchief to not stain her beauty, I can't believe I have a wife now and she was perfect in everyway, well almost.

I watched her as she limply slept on the table, I spread her legs and used a ruler and marker to measure the perfect size. I wrapped a belt above the mark to prevent her from bleeding out, holding the knife in hand I started on one leg and began chopping.

I ultimately chose to cut an inch above the knee to get rid of the awkward twist in her legs. Her skin felt soft to the touch, I carefully wrapped her leg in gauze and administered first aid. I did the same to the other leg, now she looked perfect once again.

Carrying her to bed, I carefully set her down and covered her with a blanket.

I went back to the office and cleaned all the blood away, grabbing the severed legs and placing them inside a briefcase. I intend to work on them later, I'll try to restore their former looks and then preserve them.

I collected all her blood and placed them in a jar which I will put a label on afterwards. I cleaned the room, sprayed some air freshener and sat down on the chair.

I took out a photo from my pocket, inside it was my wife in all her glory I took off her clothes when I had to perform surgery and restore her beauty. I was dumbstruck by her beauty that I had to stop and take a picture.

I placed the photo inside a picture frame and hid it inside my closet.

Walking back into the bedroom, I stood beside my newly wedded wife and looked at her sleeping face. She looked pale, I mean she lost a lot of blood but she'll get better in time. I smiled with glee and kissed her forehead as I imagined our future together.
