There was a bright box of text just flouting their in.. Well not my vision per say. More in my mind than anything, I just know its there yet not there. Though going back to vision it's also not normal. Now that I'm focusing on it. I can see in a perfect sphere around me, and it was more than just sight. I could somehow hear smell and taste too. All the way to the cellular leval where I could ‘see’ all of the microorganisms in the dirt it... it was beautiful!

Mentally shaking myself out of it as I still seem to lack much physical movement still. Looking in on myself I seemed to be some sort of opaque crystal the size of a grain of rice. Putting together all the evidence along with some of those fantasy books I could still vagally remember from so long ago I was a dungeon core! This was awesome! I mean sheer in those you always dream about being the great hero or villain or something. But this was way better in my opinion. Yeah, fighting with swords and what not would be cool. But magic, summoning monsters, and creativity sounds way more fun. Speaking of I got the rest of my messages to get through.

As ‘adventurers’ dive your halls they will Surely slay some of your creatures and gain a portion of the arcane used to create them or ‘XP’ as people or creatures gain more XP one side effect along with their growing strength is that it becomes less and less likely they will die of natural causes. That’s the 2nd part of your job to kill them for their built up arcane can be released into the world! The great thing for you is that part of their filtered XP is then sent back Strengthening your core and letting you siphon even more arcane stating the process all over again*

Well, that explains a lot actually. This core must have just made its void siphon when I got sucked into it and we fused. As I thot about part of my new job being killing people it made me a little scared not because of the killing but because for some reason I was excited. After a little thinking I decided that was probably because of the core part of me. After a little bit more time I came to the conclusion that none of that mattered any more. This was a new me a new life and no one or thing is going to get in my way of my dreams this time, and right now that’s becoming the best dam magic dungeon around.
