Torfick has already returned from the guild, after reporting the incident, he had to file a report and submit it to be looked at by the Capital guards. it's necessary to follow a certain protocols for things to run in line.

we went to our rooms in deep need for sleep, we have't slept since yesterday morning and it's almost dark outside. I don't even have the appetite to eat anything. I threw my bag and staff on the floor and crashed on my bed. Kira sat on her bed not necessary sleepy since she already have slept on the way here.

My body shaking slightly from the lack of sleep i drifted unconsciously into slumber.

When i woke up it was already morning and kira was still on her bed like she has never left it. Well, she never left her bed before unless it was with me.

I sat on the edge of the bed stretching my arms and taking a deep breath. Thinking about last day’s events. It was so hectic and missed up that the more i think about it the more i get confused.

What was with the wulfers, i have never seen so many of them in one place before. And kira? I looked up to where she was sitting and asked her just to be sure: "how is your pain?"

"It's gone."

Hmm, was they connected?! They both were happening at the same time, and when one was over the other too. But which one caused the other? Was kira's presence the reason for the wulfers attack? But we were there because they were attacking the farm for two weeks now. Could it be that the wulfers caused something to happen to the thing that is inside of kira's body which caused her to feel pain!

Just when i was trying to sort things out into my head I heard a lowd growling voice...

Yeah, i'm kind of hungry but that wasn't from me!

I looked at Kira who hugged her knees and hid her head behind them!

"Are you hungry?" What a silly question, of course she is, we didn't eat dinner last night.

She looked at me from behind her knees and she nodded.

"Well, I'm hungry too.. let's go eat something and take a bath after that, i'm in a real need for a bath today". I stood up and held my hand to her, she grabbed it and we went downstairs to get some food.

Just when we reached the dining hall we found the rest of our group already sitting on a table having their breakfast.

"Good morning ladies." Torfick was the first to notice our arrival. Madd waved at us with a mouthful so he couldn't say anything, i just heard him blurt something which looked like a greeting.

Diana waved and called us to sit next to her which we did.

After ordering our food we started talking about last day's events.

I told them about the sudden pain that Kira felt during the attack and gave them the theories that i was contemplating before.

After discussing the matter further without coming to an answer we just decided to observe the situation with kira more later. However Diana did come up with more information about the object that was inside of her, which was blocking both our spells. Scan in her case and my healer senses around it.

"Well, i was too busy with the quest we were preparing for; that I totally forgot about the matter" she started talking about her findings with us and continued "you see, i went to the old man at the church and asked him for any books about the Dark matter, you know just anything that he has, he didn't like my question about it but said that there is a mention about them in one book he had about the crystals" she paused to pick up the book in question from her satchel and she put it infront of us.

"You see here" she started flipping over the pages and stopped in a page that she marked previously.

"I found only one page in this damn book talking about the dark Matter"

We looked at where her finger was pointing.

It was an empty page with a title saying : Dark crystal.

And underneath it: dark object from the war of the demons.

We looked at each other in disbelief.

"What, that's what we know already!" Torfick stated.

"That is all I could find, but we already know what it is" Diana smiled and continued "it's a dark crystal not an object”

“And what does that mean exactly?” Madd threw the question we all had in a really confused manner.

“You know about the elements right, it’s simple really, there is water, fire, earth, wind, light and dark. Now what do i use to cast fire spells?”

“Fire Crystal?” I answered knowing that she has the four crystal imbedded into the staff she is using to cast magic.

“Exactly, And what kind of crystal you use Riya?” She asked me again.

“Light crystal” i have one imbedded into my staff that i use whenever i cast healing magic.

“Now can you cast healing spells with my staff?”

“No!”

“So what if that staff had a dark crystal?” She continued.

“I would guess no too!” Even though i have never seen one before in my life.

“Now imagine kira is the staff that is impeded with the crystal”

“Wait? Is that why we can’t use our magic on her?”

“Well, not exactly, you can still use sleep on her, and i did scan her, the only anomaly here is the thing inside her, we can’t really affect it. I would say it works like my crystals, I can’t use two crystals at the same time since they cancel each other, so when i make hot water for instance, i first cast water to produce it, then i cast fire to heat it. Same thing with my other spells, i just have to time them to be able to use multiple spells as one.” She paused for a second and continued after closing the book “i think that crystal is alway active inside of her, and for some reason it blocks anything targeting it.”

We looked at each other and fell silence to let these information sink in.

“Well, that is only my theory so far, i could also be wrong” Diana added that bit of information and then got her stuff and stood “i need to go to the market to buy some stuff and then return this useless book to the church, see you later” with that she was about to leave.

“Wait!” I followed her and grabbed her from her shoulder “i need something” and gave her my poppy eyes look.

“Jeez, what? Another bath” she knew exactly what I wanted.

“That’s my beloved Diana, she always understands me”

“Well, let’s get it over with” she sighed with an annoyed expression but i know she can’t resist my selfish requests when i use my poppy eyes.

I called kira who was still on her chair looking at us and she followed us back to the room.

“Ahhhhh, i love soaking in hot water, this feels good” i was sitting in a wooden tub in our room with kira while Diana sat on my bed with an annoyed look, she have to stay until we finish; to dry the water with her magic, she could leave making me have to carry and dump all the water from the window. But she is way kinder than to let me do all that work after just taking a bath, she also knows how hatful i can be if she did that, because she did actually leave once and made me carry all the water, and i stopped talking to her for a week.

Aaah baths are the best things in this whole world.

“Come on, hurry up, i have things to do”

okay! she is really pissed off now, maybe i should finish this up soon.

“Wait just a little, i will scrub kira’s back” i took the towel and started doing just that, it’s funny that kira just sits there and let me do whatever i want with her, like literally anything *grins* and her skin is so smooth it’s out of this world, i really love touching it. Unlike me and Diana who have freckles all over our bodies from our constant travels, kira’s skin is in one tone, like a princess who never had to get out of her castle under the sun. Well i never have seen a princess to know for sure, but that is what I’ve heard.

And we are done.

We wore our clothes and got ready to go to the market with Diana, it will be good for kira to open up a little more and see other people. Diana was definitely against taking us but we tagged along despite that.
