《Wake up and Run》The Gateway

The unbearable headache that hit my head suddenly woke me up without opening my eyes, holding my head with both hands. I tried to sit down on my bed, but there was no edge to the bed on whichever side I turned my legs, still suffering from incredible pain in my head.
I opened my eyes but closed them again quickly because of the very bright light that hit my vision. Once more, I opened my eyes, but this time as slowly as possible.
It took me about 20 seconds to adjust my vision to my surroundings, opening and shutting my eyes several times while still suffering from the headache. The scene around me didn't make any sense to me at all. I was surrounded by green grass a few inches high everywhere I turned and looked. This green field is around me as far as my eyes can see and nothing else. Above me is the blue sky, with little clouds here and there, and nothing else.
It was the biggest field I have ever seen. Where I am was the first question that came to my mind. Trying to go back with my memory, what was the last thing I remembered? Nothing came back to me. This headache is what is preventing me from remembering anything. I said that to myself. Even though it's preventing me from sitting, I had to lie down and look at the sky since even the slightest movement of my head makes the pain increase. All I can do now is wait for this to subside.
I couldn't remember anything, couldn't think of any movement that hurt me more, so I closed my eyes and hoped that when I opened them again, this situation would resolve itself.

I can't remember anything, I can't think, and any movement hurts me even more. I closed my eyes, hoping that when I opened them again, this situation would solve itself.
It had been almost 10 minutes since I found myself in this unknown location when I felt a sudden increase in the headache, like it was going to burst my head open, and I found myself screaming loudly, holding my head agia with both hands. It didn't last long, maybe a few seconds when I felt the headache was gone and relieved.
I took a deep breath in while still lying on the grass. I'm not in pain, and my mind is clear.
With the relief came the question of where I was, what happened to me, and why I couldn't remember anything. I stood up to look around, but there was nothing everywhere I looked, and the scene was the same. I told myself there was no point in just standing here, but where to go was another issue I was facing at the moment. There was no destination visible to me to go to. To begin with, I was not familiar with directions, so I couldn't differentiate between north and south. I began laughing at myself as if it made a difference; after all, I don't even know where I am, so what difference does it make?
Just walk straight and see where you end up. That was the only solution that came to my mind, and I started walking forward.
I had been walking for almost 2 hours when I felt tired, and during that time, nothing changed in my surroundings, nothing at all, no trees, no birds, no animals, and no sounds except my footsteps crossing the grass, nothing else.
As strange as it is now, I realized that I was hungry and thirsty. I sat down to rest and think about the whole strange thing going on with me, but my mind came up empty.
With an involuntary instinct, I started looking through my pockets when I noticed that I was wearing strange clothes: a light brown leather long jacket up to my knees, a white shirt, leather black pants, and long black boots. I don't remember owning any of these clothes, though I don't know anything about them, but they feel out of place and unfamiliar to me. digging through my pockets, I discovered something even stranger than the clothes I was wearing. There were nine items across from me, three rings being the only thing I recognized, and two small wooden boxes, square in shape and not more than 2 inches in diameter.

One little triangle pyramid shaped metal
appeared like silver but was shinier than the silver I was familiar with. Wow, when I
was an expert on silver, I began to wonder.
One rectangle bule crystal the size of my palm, a small leather pouch that looked like a wallet, only once I tried to open it and failed, and I put it down. The last item was the one that peaked my curiosity the most.
simply because it was at first unfamiliar, then it seemed like a chocolate candy bar, but you can see it's not chocolate and in no way does it even look like something edible and it does not resemble anything appetizing either, on the contrary, it looked like dried mud, but since I was hungry and thirsty, my instinct, or possibly my stomach, was telling me to taste it.
So I did without hesitating. I took it and tasted it on my tongue first. Then I took a mouthful and started chewing. It actually tasted like barbecued meat with a sweet and sour sauce.
And with that single mouthful bite, I felt really full, like someone who had just had a big meal and started feeling immediately energy coursing through my entire body. Relieved from both the hunger and thirst at once, I wondered what it was that I had just eaten.
With nothing else to do or think about, I started walking in the same direction, telling myself it's better than just staying here, and I realized this from the change in weather because no matter where or how I looked, I couldn't see the sun. When I looked up, all I saw was a clear sky but nowhere to see the sun.
In a distance, not too close since the land in front of me is flat, I finally noticed a shadow which was different from the surrounding area. Still, I couldn't tell what it was, but at least I had a target in front of whatever that shadow became. It's my goal to reach it before the sun sets down. If that happens, I will be completely surrounded by darkness, and I have no idea what's going to happen.
Keeping that in the back of my mind, I hasten my steps, moving as fast as I can without running.
Coming closer and closer, her shadow started to take the shape of a city or town. Still, from this distance, I couldn't differentiate between the two, but at least I can see a big tower and what seems like a wall surrounding it.
With my hopes high now, I know that at the end I will see some people and I might understand what's going on with me or where I am. At least, not knowing what lay ahead, I kept moving.
Emika sat on the balcony of her living room
The penthouse is on top of Migan Tower, which overlooks the entire city of Migan, watching for the horizon and the field that surrounds the city from all sides.
Like she usually does every day sipping the hot tea from her cup and observing the twilight before the dusk, although today her thoughts was largely occupied by the nightmares that had been coming and recurring every night for almost for almost a week that has changed last with a the addition figure of a young man.The Helish nightmares were the same every night, staring with a crack in the space in the middle of the air opposite of the field that faced the west gate, pouring from it was a strange creatures, herds of them, none of which looked like the other one creatures that she had never seen before. Some of them were humanoid, while others were like animals, and others she couldn't even put a proper name for.
Except for last night, when the young man stood in front of the location of the crack, holding a sword in both hands, his back towards the gate, and when the crack began, he looked up at the tower and smiled at her.

Growth
A fantasy story set in a world after mankind has long passed. Their descendants inhabit the ruins of humanity, barely clinging to survival, plagued by monstrous beasts and blessed with strange powers. Note: Have not edited it at all yet. There will likely be pretty broad changes once I get around to actually reading what I've written.
